In this video, Rochelle is joined for the third time by Lana. The first couple times they met, Ro didn't have exactly what Lana wanted, but this time, she nailed it! Lana wanted to have just a little more fullness and slightly thicker bangs, and the Mono Long Top did just that! Since the piece is longer than Lana's hair, Ro will trim the bangs and length to the exact length of her hair for a perfect match!

I love what you wrote Cindy! Last tip for you when you go - YOU make sure the piece is on the way you will wear it so she/he can cut it correctly for you. I just bought one of these in white. My own hair does not have bangs because if I trim them, they curl at the ends like little handlebar moutaches. Also, I have a very short forehead. So the mono long top allows me to have a nice looking, straight bang. I trimmed mine exactly like Rochelle did in this video. I have not trimmed the rest of the piece yet because my hair is currently fairly long. But when/if I cut my own hair, I will cut the piece accordingly as Ro did (or save it for when I have longer hair). I have a very large head, and there are almost no wigs (of any brand) in white (medium length). So this mono long top is one of my few options until more white wigs are available in the large cap size. I absolutely LOVE the white color of this mono long top. It matches my hair perfectly and looks completely natural. Unfortunately, you do not currently have the medium mono top in white or I would have bought one of those too. I do not like wigs with any permatease because they just make a large head look even larger. I would make an exception if you ever get "Sabrina" in a large cap in white. I love that style.

Hello ladies! You all look wonderful! I love just the little extra body on the top, it makes such a difference Lana. I don't personally color my hair anymore since it's so thin I end up with hair dye on my scalp and with my Godiva wigs, I don't need to fiddle with coloring my hair, ever, yippeee! Lana's smile says it all. Looks fab on her, hubby will never know. So natural. I could watch you do this to several pieces and wig styles all day long. I just bought the long top but haven't trimmed it as yet. Are the bangs meant to be swept a little to the side? Have a great day.
Hi Patti, Long Top, Mono Long Top (shown here) and Medium Top don't have bangs persay. Some I don't trim at all around the face - some I trim with a longer bang, etc.
So, yes you can sweep them to the side or trim to customize for you. The best suggestion is to get your piece and play with it to learn different ways to wear it and get clarity on the changes you want to make. Many clients own 2 - keep one as it is and trim another.

I would love to try this mono topper but my problem is the color.
I bought a Taylor top from you a while back in the creamy toffee R like you are showing now but the color was too yellow for me. The color does not look yellow at all in this video on Lana it looks beautiful! The only other blonde rooted color I can try would be spring honey R but since the creamy toffee R looks so different on camera I am not sure.
Remember that with a Top Piece, it goes over your hair, so your hair won't be showing at the crown on on the sides. This actually makes it so easy since most women's hair is a blend of different lights and darks of all colors. You can purchase a few color swatches or a color ring to see the color blends first - here's the link: godivassecretwigs.com/search?q=color%20swatches.
Ro, is your hair in that braid also? Or is it just the long top? It is so beautifully thick. Once upon a time I had hair that thick and long, but darker.
You did a terrific job on Lana - she looks so lovely. What will happen when Lana's hair grows? The topper will be shorter.
Hi Susan, I was in a rush - put my Long Top on and clipped it up, then made a fast braind with my hair and the Top Piece hair together. So fast and easy! Glad you enjoyed Lana's new look! Lana likes her hair this length, so she will keep her hair this length. Many clients (me included) keep one Top Piece longer and then a shorter one too - this way, there's always one that works! xo Ro

The long top looks perfect on Lana! Great fit, color and cut. Rochelle as for coloring your hair with Preference by L’Oréal…use Excellence by L’Oréal in number 9. Excellence was meant to cover the gray and Preference was not. Preference washes out easily where Excellence does not. I have been using it for at least 35 years….read the boxes and you will see the difference and you will definitely notice it when you color your hair! Xoxo❤❤

I’ve got this piece and didn’t quite know what to do with it. I may trim it some, but was wanting to use it to combine with my finer hair and flip up into a messy bun for summer. I haven’t quite accomplished the look yet. Trimming it like this would be lovely…just not sure I have the volume of hair this lady has, to pull off a trim to length. Hmmm…
Our Top Pieces are really perfect for women who have less hair than Lana too. She happens to have thicker hair at the bottom, but less on top. Our pieces are not for a particular "type" or thickness/thinness of hair. Women love them most because they add a bit of fullness to the crown area.
