Excellent movie, but they changed the story a lot. The bar in question was actually called, "Maximillians" and was in Delaware County, a suburb, just south of Philly. I used to frequent the bar quite a lot, and actually grew up with Max's daughters and son. In fact, Max's youngest daughter rode to high school every day, with me, since they lived two houses away. I worked all through high school, full time at a gas station after school and on the weekends. So, I only had to take the school bus for one year. Then, was able to buy a car and drive the next three years. One of my good friends, ended up marrying this youngest daughter of Max, but it did not last too long. To this day, I still talk to her on occasion, and sometimes visit. Wow, how times fly and remember these good old days vividly. Just turned 70 years old, this past June.
The facts are skewed. He actually played in the World Football League for 2 years, in the Philadelphia area. Dick Vermeil actually had a private workout for him. I know it’s Hollywood, but the facts should be told too.
This movie is one of my favorite movies from Mark Walberg. But his work with Mel Gibson in Father Stu 2022 is really, really good. It was good to see the same rosary from Rugged Rosaries. I am glad that Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg are good friends now. I would give nearly anything to work out with them and Pray the Rosary. Renaissance Man in 1994 was the first time I saw Mark in a movie. Mad Max in 1979 was the first time I saw Mel Gibson in a movie. I went back and found Tim from 1979, which was really good, too.
In this video Vincent sees his team loose all the time and I watched it, and it reminds me of the JETS,how they have a losing record, but now they have a new owner and he paid a lot of money for the team's right, and they have a new QB,and they are looking very different and I think that they just fired the team's coach, which I don't understand why? And it was his 1st year, which I find just plain stupid, give him a chance to prove himself, but last year many NFL teams made very big changes, and these owners can afford to pay huge salaries as they are all billionaire's but in the NBA, no major changes to their rosters, but they are very wealthy people, as I enjoy watching the team's battle it out.
I have only played High School Football(Soccer to you Americans) & Basketball back in the late 90s.My # was 83 for both Sports.I chose it because I was born in that year.
In this part of the video I didn't know all these different facts about Vincent and I usually just watch the video without knowing the facts, but I very grateful that he is explaining all the facts about his playing in the NFL in 1976 ,and I graduated from high school in 1974,and in 1975 was when I went into the Army as a PFC,because of three years ROTC, and because my father made it mandatory for me my brothers and sisters. But I am very grateful to him for the prior training prior to going in the Army, and he is explaining every issue in detail.

Movie name : Invincible. True story. Vince is still alive and lives in the Philly suburbs. Local hero and icon.
what happened with his ex-wife?
I watch this movie every Sunday, at home or at work, it always gives me hope, even though I'm 60 years old, there's always hope to do my best.
Mmmm honestly maybe you can make it through normal life without having to watch this movie EVERY Sunday. And yes I met him.

Always good to see an underdog victorious!

This movie is another Redemption masterpiece
I forgot how good this movie is. Wahlberg seems to be that guy Hollywood and fame didn't touch. Maybe it's a Boston thing
He’s super religious
As someone who was pretty close to playing high level ball, I’ll always watch this movie with jealousy
Vince than said...he was the fastest Ever...and Gave Up football when not selected for...Da LIONs. Go Detroit 🎉
Thay will struggle wid spelling than....
Isn't 27-33 still young and peak for men?
Realizing it's based on a true story caused me to enjoy it even more .
Who could ever forget "Mr Dick"? Best coach ever.

Now he contracting out for corporate motivational speeches. He’s very good at it. (At least he was when I saw him 20 years ago).
This movie is so good 👍 so motivational 🙌
Name of the video????
The movie is called Invincible.
Vince Papale never played on Defense. He was on special Team s ( kick off, Punt team) this is a big difference.
Kick off and punting team is a defensive unit
They are not an offensive group once the ball is in the hands of the other teams “ offense “
Historic victory for his team....or a regular season game in 76 vs Giants.
Making it sound like it’s the 55th man on the roster is the all the problems of the team.
I was at a bar on a Sunday night. I remember a highlight from some of Vince Papalie. Not being a Phillie fan had no idea who he was.
Nice ty

No one ever called the coach, Coach Dick.
This movie. It just occurs to me to ask myself how many many have read the theatrical version of the letter and heard echoes of painful pasts.
Title please....thank u
Invincible. True story.
"ive seen glaciers move much faster"
I like the videos, but for sports movies. It would be so much better for the football clips to include audio. Even if it’s for 5 seconds
The scene where he runs up the field in slow mo. To sweaty uncle teddy( nuget) is cinematic gold.
Do you mean Nugent?

Good movie Mark Walburgs best performance
I really like this movie, but his performance in Father Stu is stellar, too.
Great movie.

No wonder the guy was so good.
The Giants versus the Eagles????Now where did I hear that...oh wait...a movie by that name. Facing the Giants.
Is this a commercial?
Good thing they hired Mr. Dick lol!
Much wrong with the narration!
Can tell it’s written by someone who knows nothing about American football.
