I was only 11 when I got this disease but it was the worst year of my life with so much pain I had to stay at the hostpital but I'm doing well now I'm very very very happy

I have pulmonary tuberculosis in the 60s it went through my whole body and I got it from an old woman that's in it was called generalized Hopkins disease which would tell you to go to pulmonary tuberculosis I've got the medical book I had it I know I had it I am a carrier of is it remission
Last year i Have Pulmonary disease And i get very Lost Weight and Need 6months medication i drink 4 tablets per Day because the doctor said it to me and i get lost hair because of this medicine and now i am recover to this illness, and prevent getting tired

My father was dignosed with ptb and pleural effusion last nov 2020. He was in pain like he cant handle the pain. We always give him pain reliever but it keeps on coming. I feel bad because thats tge only time we saw him like that. He's 69 btw. He's on his 3rd month of the treatment. He lost so much weight. Sometimes he has 38 5 temp and it comes almost everyday
Hi I was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis and went through all the medical requirements and took my drugs as directed by the doctor for six good months but I still feel some chest pain. Could it be possible that I may still have the bacteria??

Can we just use ppd tests to make sure whether it's TB or we can just distinguish TB from pneumonia by PPD tests?
Claudia Hou Usually they take chest x ray and also ppd, continued by sputum test.
Only PPD test oftenly considered not complete, cause the sensivity level. sometimes it can be false positive or negative

If the CXR WAS ALSO NORMAL THEN YOUR DR TAKE CT SCAN OF SPECIFIC AREA LIKE ABDOMEN OR WHOLE CHEST
My mantoux test positive 25mm Bilateral PARAHILAR pneumonia and fever and cough one month 5kg weight loss but sputum test negative .

I haveTB but I didn’t have symptoms as a coughing, blood or fatigue or fever I had only night sweet and warm body after using medication about 4 month I am still night sweeting, I would like to know why I have still night sweats?

The doctor mentioned thats I don’t
need more than four months medicine I used just 3 kind of Antibiotic. ATB IS in my blood but is not coming to my chest or Lung just I have a sleep TB and doctor said that night sweating is not concerned about TB. I would like to know your idea?
@@b.farzanfar may be this particular symptoms called latent tb infection....2 or some time more regimen required for killing those bacteria which is not active due to your immunity....but 30% chance that after all treatment you get active infection....so be sure about it and do regular chack up untill your infection go away... 👍
3 year continues chack up required in this type of cases.
