saw them live YESTERDAY! sadly without Robin, but we can't have everything. We all went right back in time, and the new album is GOLD.
I recorded this off Rock Arena on the night of Tuesday, January 12th, 1988. Although the video is long gone I kept the Excel Spreadsheet listing everything I recorded from the various music shows on TV.
I've been looking for this gig for _years!_
Thanks, so much.

Time for a reissue of the two Wreckery albums plus bonus'. This stuff is too good to be lost to the waste's of time. So many other great Australian artists from this ilk/ period who's stuff is no longer available. It's such a shame. Almost a crime.
Wow haven't seen this since my high school days...how good is Robin Casinader!!
In 2004 there was a reunion and I heard that Hugo found the Wreckery's music to be fairly simple for the complexity of his ever-evolving musicianship. He enjoyed the reunionvery much I heard.
Wow! Incredible. Never thought I'd ever see any footage of The Wreckery playing live! Thanks for sharing
Amazing!! Gotta watch this on a propper screen and with propper sound, not in my phone
WOW! Thank you SO much for the upload. This was the Rock Arena episode that I discovered The Wreckery from. Great set list for this concert too!
They also recorded Base Devil, Body Like A Stone and The She Wheel which are in the ABC vaults but were not broadcast
that bastard Nick Barker is on bass! GO YOU GOOD THING!
Love repeats of rock arena
Thanks for uploading this, what a treasure!
Some of it reminds me of early Models.

I sometimes wonder what direction the Bad Seeds would have gone if Hugo Race stayed on board for records like the First Born is Dead or Your Funeral... My Trial. I get the feeling they might have been extremely sinister sounding records...
