    I would love to have a high speed train thats hour and a half with stops along the way maybe five stops on the route

    • @mugiwaranonegro1491
      @mugiwaranonegro1491 3 года назад +5

      I feel you. This is a nice route and train but there’s not much to do other than go from end to end in one train. Since there’s only one stop in between we can only drive a high speed express train. The Munich to Augsburg route is much more robust since you have the choice of high speed express or local commuter since there are plenty of stations in between.

    Hey man. I'm French and it's great to see an Englishman love French trains so much! I hope one day for you that you will see for real a TGV or even get in ;) I'm not a specialist but I know pretty much the basics of the TGV so if you want to know a little more about it ... don't hesitate to ask me for more information! Thank you and good luck

      @@BluGames I enjoy these runs as well - and I am from the US. (The other reason I enjoy them is that this is the direct ancestor of the upcoming Avelia Liberty AKA Acela 21 - also built by Alstom. I am hoping that a Duplex version of Avelia Liberty gets built down the road. (There are duplex commuter rail passenger trainsets - MARC has the KHI duplexes between DC Union Station and Middle River for example.)

      @PGHammer21A 2 года назад +2

      This is the French version of two US routes that I have traveled in real life (by rail) - the first is the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Line from Paoli to St. David's; the other is the MARC Penn Line (overlay of the southern end of the NEC) between Union Station and Baltimore Penn Station.

    People in train sims do want to see longer routes like you said. In the normal sim they just released another small section of the NEC from DC to Baltimore which is about 40 miles. People are FUMING about it and rightfully so since the original MSTS released almost 20 years ago had part of the NEC from DC to Philadelphia which is over 3 times the length of what DTG is giving us and it's the lower third of the NEC (just under 2 hours time from start to finish). We're all hoping for a competitor to light a fire under DTG or hoping that DTG will eventually listen to the community.
    This TGV route is a step in the right direction for TSW, hoping to see more of it

    I compare the route (in TSW 2) to the real deal (there are YT videos of this route over the same course - the TGV RSR was set here as well - which is the fun part). There are two major differences between this train and the record-buster - it's longer by far (the trainset that set the record was a "shorty" four-car set; however, this is a standard TGV 200 - all twenty cars of it) - and this is the SNCF TGV 200 livery - not OUIGO, INOUT, or Thalys livery - which all travel this route in reality.

    • @BluGames
      @BluGames  2 года назад

      Very cool i love this route and train. Wish it was longer in the sim

    • @PGHammer21A
      @PGHammer21A 2 года назад +1

      @@BluGames Admitted. However, it matches up quite nicely with the Avignon-Marseilles run in real life. Also, both Marseilles and Avignon are major cities for SNCF - which is why this route serves them both. Lastly, this is an *express route* - the US equivalent is *Acela Nonstop* - which will naturally replaced by *Avelia Nonstop*. What I would like to see is *Avelia 200* - basically, Avelia in TGV 200 configuration and Amtrak Phase VI livery.

    • @BluGames
      @BluGames  2 года назад

      I would live to see that too

    Is there any dialog with like the number of passengers or cargo that bring changes in the weight of the train and with that bring changes in the performance of the train (like in xplane11) or anything like that.

    • @BluGames
      @BluGames  3 года назад +1

      Passengers no.. but the amount of passenger cars does effect the weight and physics of the train.
      For freight trains this is more noticeable
