Is This Worth it? Beretta A400 Xcel ATS

A review of the Beretta A400 Xcel ATS, the new and updated semi automatic shotgun from Beretta, are there enough new features to justify the cost?

Kicks harder than my Browning Cynergy even with the kickoff system ! Quality control issues with wood right out of the box . Not recommended based on my experience ,

Good over view, and I like the channel, but I believe you should have noted a lot more the importance of Steelium Plus in the barrel. That in itself is a decent upgrade vrs the standard Steelium in the Black, and a topic worth talking about. After all the 694 has the Steelium Plus forcing cones, and everyone raves about that.
The Kick Off system here is also much better to use than the version at the end of the stock.
I'd also argue that the loss of the blanking plate in the Black for the shot counter is a positive, moving to a much more pleasing aesthetic with the grip being all wood now.
So I would say buy it. So I did. 🙂

Cheers for the video. How do you find the reliability of the Beretta semi autos compared to say the Browning or benelli semi autos? I've previously had an ATA Venza which was brilliant, but looking at some other options

I’ve had several beretta semi automatics, shot 1000s through them without fault. I do hear of some issues but I think this is mainly down to the volume of them in the market.

​UK review so doesn't apply. Plus, this is a 2+1 so Gosafe exempt on that basis too. Fixed capacity of 10 or less is not restricted.
