    Refreshing to see more normal carry figures than seeing you tubers with 300+ with a 3 wood. Thank you for keeping it real.

    Great stuff Dan. Love that you’re working the set around that 5W you’ll likely be buried with.

    Been a Titleist guy for a few years now. Not tried or really looked at TSR. Is there anyone out there like me, that absolutely fell in love with TSi and still is? Not fashionable I know, but, cost to change is quite a bit of money and therefore would need quite a bit of improvement to justify it. “ If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. ??

      Love my tsi3. It is very hard to justify $700 for a tsR3. If it were $200 less, maybe, but that is a big maybe. I feel I’d rather spend the money on a new shaft for my tsi3 and see where that would get me rather than throw the baby out with the bath water.

    Excellent fitting experience Dan. I started this season with one Titleist club in my bag. I am ending this season with TEN!!!! Titleist clubs in the bag. I hope you're on commission

    Excellent review. One thing I've found interesting, is that there's not a single review out there of someone trying the TSR2+ fairway, lofted up. The sleeve can take it to 14.5.

    The TSR models have a wonderful sound. I love the thuddier sound as opposed to the tinnie sound. Nice to see how a good fitting should go and why it’s important to have good dialogue. Cheers.

    Thank you for sharing your fitting, Dan. Really enjoy these. I am gaming both the TSR 3 driver (8 deg) and 3 wood (13.5 deg) and love the stability, performance, and unbelievable feel (even on mishits). Titleist produces the best woods in the business. 🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏☝️☝️☝️💯💯

    Thanks for the review. in past Titleist heads I've gravitated toward a weaker lofts. I hit the TSR2@15 degrees off the fairway a little low. I fought off urge to go with the TSR3 and opted for the TSR2 16.5. Testing and availably is limited so I may have took a chance. I just think the TSR2 will be easier work. If I'm using it off the tee hitting the fairways are the priority and feel like in the needed going into a par 5 it will give me a little more confidence.

    I was fitted just over a week ago for TSR driver and fairway. Fully expected to come out in the TSR2 fairway (currently TSi3 player) but the TSR3 absolutely smashed it for me. New TSR2 driver and TSR3 fairway arrived this morning so I'm off to the range to try them out :)

    I stumbled on a used ts5 wood late last year. It hit like a rocket. I got fitted into a TSR2 driver ...Since then added a TSR1 5 hybrid. I am on the fence about a TSR2+ or a TSR 3 '3wood'. I guess Titleist is going to be doing most if my golfballs leg work.

    What a great looking club, never played Titleist clubs but certainly something I would give a go. It helps being a lefty and they produce everything in each hand, not many manufactures do this.

    I had my fitting into the tsr range and absolutely love them love the sound shape and feel and I was always a taylormade player.
    I certainly think this is the best move ever for me I’ve only played 2 rounds with them but wow what a difference I’ve also been fitted into the t100s irons and I’m loving then the wedges will take a little more work just to get the feel for them but I know I’ll have them down to a tee in no time,and I’ve loved you videos on these clubs cheers dan

    I was fitted into a TSR3 3 wood, 13.5 degrees. Best fairway wood I’ve ever hit. I was hitting the driver just to get an idea as this happened at a demo day with several companies. It seemed to be the best for me. I’m going to try to get get fit for one soon!

    Great review and fitting dan. Those tsr woods look good. I still game a 913 fd 3 wood and feel like that has a slightly larger head and I like that, just makes me feel more confident that I won't miss the ball 😂

    • @locobenno9435
      @locobenno9435 Год назад

      @Mike McGowan I switched from the 913 range to the TS range of fairways, the head profiles from TS-->TSi--TSR are bigger than the 913, markedly so IMO, I don't think you'd have an issue switching.....I still game TS 3/4/5/7 (depending on the day), great fairways and an easy transition for me from 913, in fact I'm probably the opposite to you and had to adjust to the bigger head profiles

    I've really enjoyed these videos from the performance centre but and I believe a massive but is cost. I have recently bought a Cobra LTDX driver and I can't see where the Titleist range are worth £200+ more.

  • @retired8123
    @retired8123 Год назад +1

    I prefer the tsi2 woods & driver over the tsr2 woods and driver. The new woods had a bit more curve to the top line which I don't like (tsi2woods had it perfect for me)
    & the Tsi2 driver felt softer off the face which I prefer...the Tsr2 felt harder off the face which maybe is better for ball speed but I like the feel of the old one.
    I had pretty much equal distance with tsi2 and tsr2 in woods and driver. Making the Tsr2 more pear shaped which better players enjoy wasn't for me.
    Tsi2 and Tsr2 are both amazing clubs ...one of them will likely appeal to a lot of golfers!

    Seems like great gear. But you know what it it with fairway woods. Once you find one you like, you stick with it. This is not about getting more distance, it’s about getting the right distance.

    Nick the titliest guy, I know it's an expectation that he should know what he's on about but he is really good. I have been fitted myself before, irons and woods at Ping Gainsborough and the fitter was at best poor. Did buy ping irons but not the woods they just didn't feel right. The fitter was saying you nailing them even though they was a fair few yards less than the existing woods. Not all fitters are the same people.
