Body and Soul is what killed me like 4 times in Lightning Returns. Dude heals up, buffs up, then MEGAFLARE... GIGA-GRAVITON... CHILL... SURGE... FLARE... TORNADO... ABSOLUTION... MEGAFLARE! Both in 13-2 and LR, Caius battles are the most fair, and feel most like PvP.
Fight him on day 1 or 2 and it's much easier.
