This man whispered to us saying he’s got some stuff he can’t talk about 😭😭😭 I love that this platform is coming along. I actually just ordered a full set of LEDs from you yesterday. Can’t wait to get them!
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks, sounds like a plan, I appreciate it! I know there’s a lot in development right now for these. I’ve been holding off on doing a lot to my ‘22 and just doing a lot of stuff at once. Do you know if Brett does custom colors for powder coating on his pipes?
Love your channel, helps a lot being a new ST/new to turbo cars owner. Mine is a '21. Other videos I saw showed the OEM BOV under the air box. What additional steps would I need to make mine like what you installed here?? TIA
Depends on when in 21 yours was made… 21 was a split year so some came with an oem bov and others didn’t. The only additional steps would be to reach down unplug the one BOV and wire in the resistor he includes in the package 😁
Technically the oem is a bypass valve but as far as performance a BOV doesn’t necessarily add power at all it’s just for sounds and to help get rid of extra pressure when letting off of boost so instead of putting it back into your intake system it just blows it out to atmosphere giving you that iconic BOV sound.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks how is the clearance with them(going up slanted driveways, speedbumps, etc)? I’ve been reading and see ppl mention that they actually sit lower than advertised. No rubbing with that tire set up either?
@sandcrab70 I don’t rub at all and I don’t scrap on anything but mind you I’ve had low cars and some slammed cars so naturally it’s how I drive the explorer as well.
I’d assume they took it off so they had the computer deal with decompression. Wouldn’t we need a tune to tell the car it now has a bov? Fully commenting this without watching the entire video in case this was answered. 😅
I was kinda mad I got a the s&b cold air intake but it didn’t come with the some special tool to take off the crank case hose. So I went to do my blow of valve and there was not a bov it the factory located. Was kinda disappointed wanted to make it flow more. I already did the exhaust
Yes it’s all on Houstonspeedfreaks.com You can even email me at houstonspeedfreaks@gmail.com and I can send you the invoice for exactly what you see in this video 😁

I appreciate your support man I’ll have them coming your way tomorrow 😁

Hi.. I enter into FenFan page.. My fiance has am Explorer ST early 2022 and have doubt in which option choose.. beacuase has many..
@michelleocasio1034 you would choose the 2021 late model and up and whatever blow off valve you wanted😁
I did the same for the hardline, cut a small slit. I do always make it a habit to zip tie all vacuum lines.
My man!!💪
You can always count on Brett - Those extra inches come in clutch!
Always giving out the free inches huh 😂
Do you have a link ?

Quick question... I have a 2020, so would the hks BOV be useless for my factory bov? Does the HKS sound better or perform better?

@@HoustonSpeedFreaks cool thanks for your reply. I guess I got a better understanding of it now. Also does Cold Air intake add sound as well?
@Leorgo anytime man 😁 and the only food air intake that will actually add sound is the fenfab v2 intake 😁
I have the 2020 so i just added the spacer and its a rice mode fully engaged
You aren’t lying I love it though 😂
If the car runs bypass and put in BOV would it bog a bit on idle or give any SES code?
No you should not get any codes
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks thank you friend. 🙏
Snap Ring pliers are a good thing.
I agree I need to get me a back up pair I always misplace them as I don’t use them all that often lol
I want the explorer ST t shirt, i only see hoodies though. Any plans for just a solo explorer shirt?
Hey brother I am working on more shirt designs all my other merch is over here
brynnmassie.com/collections/houstonspeedfreaks
What size is the plastic "T" and the hoses?
It’s 3d printed to use the oem connectors the hose size depends which hose you are talking about
Man love that stance the ST has at 0:56 I just watched the wheel and tire set up but by chance what lowering springs are you running?
I’m on Ebaich lowering springs and run a 20x10 with a +25 offset wheel, tires are a 295/45/20

@@HoustonSpeedFreaks awesome good to know! Really appreciate you taking your time to write back!
@sandcrab70 anytime brother 😁
Im literally going back and forth on this right now lol
Do it! Lol
Yo, why’s is the Honda Accord facing the other way?
I hate you 😂
Is there a difference between hot pipe and cold pipe , I just want the sound ?
If you want the sounds get a cold side charge pipe with the BOV
Do you still have your jlt catch can installed?
Yes I sure do still have it
I’d assume they took it off so they had the computer deal with decompression. Wouldn’t we need a tune to tell the car it now has a bov? Fully commenting this without watching the entire video in case this was answered. 😅
Nah bovs aren’t always necessary honestly, all you’re doing is venting excess pressure.
What size clamps would you recommend I use for the hoses?
I would think 1/2 inch clamps would work just fine.
I was kinda mad I got a the s&b cold air intake but it didn’t come with the some special tool to take off the crank case hose. So I went to do my blow of valve and there was not a bov it the factory located. Was kinda disappointed wanted to make it flow more. I already did the exhaust
You don’t need a factory BOV to add the one I added here.
Ok and the HKS valve?
Yes it’s all on Houstonspeedfreaks.com

Hi, where did you get the tube and valve?
Houstonspeedfreaks.com😁
I need to know where you bought the white tube?
I bought it from HoustonSpeedFreaks.com
It’s made by fenfab
where did you buy the pipe?
Houstonspeedfreaks.com
What CAI are you running?
S&B 🫡
I bought the tial kit and I don’t think I’ve ever heard it go off. Really pisses me off that I spent money on it. 😢
Factory location?
The camera work is making me dizzy 😵 Grab a tripod bro.
This one I messed up while filming, I accidentally recorded a majority of it the wrong way so had to zoom in to get it to fit RUclips format
