Well... generally speaking I love Cornerstone pedals because they are good and they are from my country. BUT... the Beano tone must be created and tested on a Les Paul humbucker, not a P90. In addition to that the recording has to be made with a real mic in front of the speaker. No IRs BS, please! Be true to the original truth!
I absolutely agree with everything you mentioned. Actually, it wasn't planned for Jack to play this particular song; we just recorded it while he was freely playing with the Nero... Sort of a "free style" However, regarding the recording, we didn't use IR. In all the videos we recorded, we always used real amplifiers and real cabinets, miked up. We used a badcat cub miked with a unidyne vintage dynamic mic and a 1968 fender bassman with a 2x12 cab with v30 miked with a condenser mic
