I actually have some! Unfortunately due to Covid 19 some stores are refusing to allow reusable bags due to germs spreading. So for during this time we have to use plastic unfortunately to keep everyone safe.

@@thequeerbee2026 i didn't really have time to prep either 😩 my neighbors knew i was planning on getting rabbits and wanted to give theirs away. i said i'd take them as soom as their outdoor pen is ready (they have always been outdoor bunnies and will finally get some proper shelter when the whole crisis is over), because i knew their pen was way too small, even smaller than mine (which is only a 3rd of their final enclosure) and they had a terribke diet and the children where just treating them like toys - it was bad and i wanted them out asap. then they came over again, telling me they really need to get ris ifnthe pen, because they need the area, so i worked even harder on bunny and predator prooding the whole thing as fast as i could, so that they could move on soon. days later thex tell me that they already gkt rid of the pen and the bunnies were just in their cage. i immideatly got them outta there and still ended up with 2 rabbits HATING eachother, thanks to the stress of being cramped up. and all of that was a day before the shutdown. managed to fix the fighting situation though and they arebsurprisingly friendly considering what they went through.

I recently ordered hay from chewy too and there were a lot of brown pieces too so maybe they just got a bad batch? Luckily my bunny isn't too picky so she doesn't really care.
@@Trainingthroughlife I also get my hay from Chewy and the last three 50# boxes have been really bad. I have 5 rabbits and I go through a box a month. I did complain to them with the first box and they were great and sent me a replacement box, but it wasn't any better. It's not Chewy that I am upset with. It seems Oxbow's, for what ever reason, product has deteriorated over the last 4 months. Finding any hay right now is almost impossible, everyone is out of stock. I finally was able to get a 50# box of orchard hay at Small Pet Select, but it cost me a great deal more. The rabbits got to have their hay, so what else can you do. Good luck with the new box, I hope you have better luck than I did.

What symptoms was Ebony having that made you think something was wrong?? I’m just curious how liver disease presents in bunnies! Like any early warning signs that something is off??
The only symptom was excessive drinking. We ran a full panel of blood work at her yearly exam because she was a senior rabbit and found her liver numbers to be extremely bad. It took awhile to find a treatment but thankfully now we do. After this experience I’m personally going to be running blood work at every rabbits yearly exam even if they’re younger than seniors. That way I’ll have a baseline for in the future if something goes wrong. For seniors the guideline is normally every 6mo if they have had issues.

Hi Haily! So a little while ago my rabbit Bella's hocks starting to get a little red, so I kept an eye on it, but recently they rurned kind of purple. I think she might have sore hocks. She doesn't show any signs of being in pain but I know I still need to get her to the vet. I don't have enough money to take her yet, is there anything I can do for her at home until I can get her to the vet. What should I do?
Nope. I have a bathroom in the master bedroom that I use. That room had been unused basically since we built the house last July. I sometimes will take a bath in there with Lulu but that’s only because my master bedroom only has a shower.
Hey, I was wondering, due to the current lockdown, my rabbits have had to only eat hay (obvi), pellets, grapes and dandelion leaves. Is this okay for only three days? I was wondering what other plants are safe for rabbits and that I can find outside. :)
I’d watch my video about emergency peeping. I explain how to manage your rabbits diet when veggies are limited. Grapes need to be given in extreme moderation (just as treats) due to their sugar content. To much sugar would cause GI stasis.

As a tip for Lulu, she might not see but she hears and smells, so I suggest putting a different smelling item in each corner of the bathroom, keeping everything always in the same place and maybe putting a small bell that doesn't make a very loud noise next to the door
Woah...that’s crazy. I use to watch your Channel back in 2011. You inspired me to get a rabbit back in 2012. Sadly she only lived with me for a month. My brother ended up being allergic to hay. It was hard because she got taken from a shelter to a rescue and I had tracked her down and all. 😔 I had a hedgehog..still have hamsters, and my cat baby in this time. You will need to get your rabbit spayed to help with the urine smell. I fixed rabbit pee smells extremely bad. Also females have a 85% chance of developing reproductive cancer by the age of 2 and the chance increases every year. Getting them spayed is the best option

We use green leaf, dandelion greens, and parsley. I'll pick up basil too. My bunny minimally tolerates spinach.

Grapes are extremely high sugar and therefore not healthy for rabbits! Please feed very few each week. I would feed no more than 3 grapes per week.

The best method is using veggie saver containers but sometimes I get lazy and leave them in the bags haha
For herbs I've found taking the small baby leaves out helps keep it fresh for about a week in a food container
