Usher in the Fall season with this tasty spread! -Ceviche -Coq au Vin -Spinach Salad with Homemade Vinaigrette -Flourless Chocolate Cake -"No Knead" Bread
Beautiful dinner! Maybe you can put together a video on your favorite things in the kitchen. You use cool things. I love your apron. Maybe a top ten must haves. Anyways glad to see you are going to be back. Thanks for the detailed instructions 💖
This is the 1st video of yours that I have seen. I love everything about it! Your humor, explanations, common sense advice, kitchen, dog, friends are funny, yet informative. I hope you do this for a long time! I am going to look for that malted milk powder, too.😀
I've always enjoyed cooking. I grew up watching Julia and early Martha, hell even Graham Kerr (sp?) I was cooking restaurant quality food for friends quite frequently but over the last several years only cooking for myself. You have inspired me to invite some friends over for a nice dinner party. Your planning/timing tips will most likely prove very valuable. Your approach is so assuring. Thank you so much for you and your teams commitment to such a high standard without being too fussy. Great work everyone. In another video you were almost apologetic for sounding "hippy" but you were so right. What you and your team are doing is much more than food. You're encouraging people to reconnect with each other over wonderful food prepared lovingly nourishing the body and soul. Its great to know that I should tip my butcher. A whole animal butcher just opened in my neighborhood. I'll have to investigate to see what is appropriate. I'm surprised I didn't think about it especially since a significant portion of my income has been from tips all my life. Thanks again.
Thank you! My mouth watered almost the whole time! And please give Leonard an extra scratch behind the ears from me and tell him it's from his Auntie Gail who loves him.
so happy you're back and so happy I found your channel a year ago! your channel is exactly the type of show I've been looking for- not just how to make delicious food but also how to host, which is something that used to intimidate me but I've learned a lot from your videos! looking forward to more content
Thank you for the wonderful dinner menu. Everything looks wonderful..I am going to attempt the bread..your instructions were so simple. The suggestion was made about giving your top 10 must haves in the kitchen is a great suggestion!! I remember on one of your videos you used a "hotel pan". I researched that one..bought one..and use it all the time for so many things😀😀!! Thanks for the tips and especially your sense of humor !! You are hilarious and Yes...we did miss you!!! You are my favorite!!
I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed your videos and teachings. I just found you a couple days ago, and now binge watching! ! Thank you and your team for these incredible videos. Looking forward to the next one.
Love all the dinner party ideas! Best part is that they don't use a lot of expensive ingredients but the end result is amazing. Thank you for sharing. Since finding this channel I made almost all of the dinners for my friends. Picked shrimp were a hit much to my surprise.
Stumbled across your channel...I'm a home cook...pretty good one...if I do say so myself...lol...you are FANTASTIC! I'm a now a subscriber....hope to see more from you! Love it!
Love your videos, I have learned so much. You are a dynamic educator and helping me to be less afraid of trying dishes that are "cheffy". Perhaps you've done this already, but a kitchen tour would be fabulous. You have an amazing kitchen, in fact, I would love to use it for inspiration for my own kitchen remodel. Actually, I am going to try and recreate this entire meal. Thank you.
Thank you SO MUCH for your kind words LJ!!! they really mean the world to me!! I'm thrilled to have inspired you and when you recreate this meal PLEASE let us know how it goes!! Happy holiday and thanks so much for watching!!!
Wow! I'm sooo... excited to have found your show on RUclips. Your amazing! Love your modern spirit and sense of humor. The show is very informative and fun to watch. Suggestion- have you ever though of having real guest attend and enjoy your delicious food? Maybe also try a theme dinner or cocktail party. Keep up the good work!! Looking forward to watching your next episode.
Awesome! Learned to proof in dishwasher, salt Liberally, mop up seasoned chicken 🍗 .. When I got to your GreenPan Paris comments - wow, what a coincidence lol! I have a box sitting in hallway - it arrived yesterday with Greenpan Paris set. Your videos are meant to watch, for sure.
I just know that my invitation to this dinner was lost in the mail! Very excited to make this beautiful meal for those close to me. I missed you and Leonard!! Never shall I ever heat a pan and not have your voice say to me, hot pan olive oil :0) Looking forward to upcoming videos. Thank you again to you and crew for your time and talents. Keep us on our toes with your cooking.
I am planning my very first dinner party to surprise my best friend for her birthday. Dinner for eight of our closest friends. I’m so nervous. Somehow, your quick quips of encouragement actually make me feel more confident about pulling this off somehow. So glad I found you. 👍🏻
So The party was this last weekend. It was a great success. I had planned on filming snippets of it to share with you and your amazing team. However, after work Friday, with the shopping, the preparation of the house for guests and the actual cooking of the meal....my plan went awry! I did, actually make BREAD!!! My son Sam (10 yrs old) helped me make the chocolate cake, which was delicioso! I. I did use the malted milk powder in the whipping cream, which was then slathered all over the top of the cake to cover up the splotchy mess I made of it when I plopped it out of the pan 🤣. So tasty! The Coq Au Vin, served with garlic mashed potatoes, was a huge hit and I was able to make a little video of during the flambé process I am leaving for you down there 👇. The biggest hit of the evening though, by far, was the ceviche. My son and I purchased the fish fresh from our local fishmonger on the day of the party and we were sure to TIP OUR FISHMONGER which really pleased him. I’m guessing not too many people in Tulsa are used to tipping the fishmonger. Anyhow the guests loved it. It was so elegant and yet it’s really so easy. Will definitely be making that one again. Anyhow, thank you for the effort and the joy you put in to these videos. I don’t think I could’ve made it without you. And I would like to take a moment to comment on whomever edits the videos and adds the little sound effects. Thank you to them as well. I love it! Until next time, ~heather ruclips.net/video/mUpjItt4ErI/видео.html
OMG I dont know how I missed this for THREE YEARS!! What a wonderful letter!! thank you so so much for writing and for watching!! So much more on the way!
OK so I tried a few of these recipes in this episode and by me I mean I watch my mother cook them 🤫the no flour chocolate cake is my new favorite thing oh my goodness it’s so wonderful but I didn’t love the chicken I think red wine and beef go the best together But I always have a blast watching your channel thanks keep up the good work
This video is great, but she didn't use her Star Wars timer! I love that gadget!! I also agree with her; though I love Top Chef, Masterchef Professionals is the BEST cooking show on TV!
I like this recipe but I'm not a big Wine Drinker can I substitute cranberry juice for the wine? And how do you feel about a Crock-Pot instead of putting it on the stove?
If you add diced tomatoes, diced spanish onions, cilantro lime juice instead of lemon juice and diced shrimp... (my dad used to do it) and eat it with saltines!!
I am ecstatic you are back to business !!! Yeeey! WTH happened??? Thought you emigrated to... France and forgot about American girls depend on pips like U! C'mon! Don't scare me again' I need your spirit !
I don't know if you've ever heard of Gemma Stafford but she did a measurement of x and one egg is 4 tablespoons so it's really two tablespoons would that be okay
Here in Southern USA we call the "French mirepoix". "The Trinity" (celery carrots and onions). And my Italian relatives would die if you at pancetta raw
You're such a goofball!!!! Love you!!!! btw...I'm a closet yeast murderer, I've killed thousands of the little buggers. Okay, I'll try it again..."not to hot, not to cold."
I’m shocked that you really threw out cuttings from the fish and eggs and everything that is not suitable for your recipes in your videos to the bin. This makes me think how different your culture is from where I live because this means to me that you are arrogant and I don’t like this attitude generally. I’m sorry to write to you in this atmosphere but this sinful act, this pointless wasting, will make me probably not to watch your videos in the future. You could save the cuttings or eggs or anything apart and use it later on, when there is no shooting, couldn’t you? Otherwise I found your channel few days ago and was absolutely captivated by your recipes and your natural funny character, your acting (unfortunately sometimes too much), which makes the cooking easier and more interesting, thank you for this experience.
Thank you for all the awesome and kind comments! Hope you all enjoy the new episode!!!
Beautiful dinner! Maybe you can put together a video on your favorite things in the kitchen. You use cool things. I love your apron. Maybe a top ten must haves. Anyways glad to see you are going to be back. Thanks for the detailed instructions 💖

AWW YESS YOURE BACK
Great Video. Can you add the times for for each recipe so that we can jump directly to any we are trying to recreate.
we are working on making EVERYTHING easier for you all. THANK YOU for watching and for your suggestions!!
Hooray!
WOW! BIG CHANGE FROM THAT RICE COOKER ON 22ND ST.
If you add diced tomatoes, diced spanish onions, cilantro lime juice instead of lemon juice and diced shrimp... (my dad used to do it) and eat it with saltines!!
I believe pancetta is salt cured instead of smoked. It’s delicious.
Do you have a dinner party for Spring? As it is almost here!!!!!
We're cooking up a whole bunch of things right now for Spring actually!! stay tuned for more videos very soon!!
I am ecstatic you are back to business !!! Yeeey! WTH happened??? Thought you emigrated to... France and forgot about American girls depend on pips like U! C'mon! Don't scare me again' I need your spirit !
What percentage do you tip your fish monger or butcher? I’m sure it varies on the amount of extra work they do for you but 10? 20%?
Hey! if does depend but I usually do 20%…remember you can do one big one at holiday if you know them well…thanks for watching!
👌
Love Randy.
thank you alexandria!!!
Would you please post the recipes? I don’t remember the portion sizes for all the ingredients. Thanks!
Pancetta is cured and not smoked like bacon but both need to be cooked 😀👍🏻
I don't know if you've ever heard of Gemma Stafford but she did a measurement of x and one egg is 4 tablespoons so it's really two tablespoons would that be okay
Randall is a goddess !
Here in Southern USA we call the "French mirepoix". "The Trinity" (celery carrots and onions). And my Italian relatives would die if you at pancetta raw
