Having recently received the awesome Batman mini TV, I thought it would be interesting to see how it stacks up against the View-master I used to enjoy as a kid.

THANKS FOR WATCHING
This was an excellent comparison! I loved my View Master when I was a kid as well. I had many movie, TV and comic book reels but I never knew they made sets that corresponded to tourist spots. Very interesting! I'm glad the little TV met your expectations.
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, this TV is by far one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
@@AllThings80s those view masters were awesome back in the day.. Loved them.
@@Kickback-dm7zt 👍🏻
What a cool little gift to receive, that would fit well with the Batman 66 playset/diorama. Had many hours of fun with viewmasters, old technology but hours of fun getting lost in imagination.
Thanks for sharing Dean!
You're welcome 👍🏻
"Quick Robin, use your Bat-Lube!"
--an actual quote from the Superfriends
LOL 👍🏻
What a fun little gadget! Thanks for the review. Grindhead Jim was kind enough to secure one for me, so I'm looking forward to adding one to my Batman 66 display soon.
That was very nice of Jim. 👍🏻
That Batman mini tv is just incredible!
It truly is. 👍🏻
This is so cool!! I really wish they showed full episodes!!
I agree, but for the price, they've done a really nice job.
This channel has become one of my favs!! I was born in 1985 and was lucky enough to receive toys from my older cousin and older sister that they didn’t want anymore. Fortunately for me, I inherited a bunch of G1 transformers and vintage Star Wars toys. Included with these “hand me downs” was what became my very first view master. With that I received a bunch of Carebears, Rainbow Brite, Transformers and some Star Trek and Star Wars discs, which were and still are incredible to look at!….. I also received a few Voltron ones………..
For some reason as a kid the “lion heads as feet” on Voltron absolutely horrified the shit outta me!! I’m pretty sure they ended up as nightmare fuel a few times lol! Def hilarious to reminisce about! Anyways keep of the awesome vids my friend!!! All Things 80s is such a blast to watch with my niece and nephew!
Thank you so much!!!
Awesome gift Gojitron! Amazing compact technology for both periods of time, AT80s. Just learned there's a unique desert menu on disc in 🇨🇦 too.
👍🏻
I just subbed this was refreshing the old view finder to the old classic mini TV with classic Batman 66 that can be played..been collecting now for 11 years and I have never seen this TV till recently..very cool will be adding that to my special custom made 66 display cabinet..👍thank you for the share mate!
Many thanks. 👍🏻
Subbed excellent channel you have hit me right in the nostalgia bean a 80s and 90s kid from the UK
Many thanks 👍🏻
Yep, just got one….! They were sold out and going for crazy price on eBay….got one from Walmart…. Love it…. I no longer have the view master, I certainly did enjoy it when i had it
👍🏻
View master was known for having really good quality images. I had a set of GI Joe Adventure Team talking reels and the photos weren’t far off from what fans post today. TV is cool if it takes an SD card. Remote is awesome though. I think the CrafsMan took one and covered it with wood grain veneer.
It doesn't take an SD card and only has the clips I showed, but they are a lot longer than I demonstrated.
Cool. I've only ever seen red viewmasters like the one I had as a kid. Probably should have assumed they came in other colors too.
The one I had was red and then my grandma gave me the grey one that she owned.
Great video Dean. That Tiny TV looks great, I might have to get one of those. And Viewmaster! Those things were/are excellent! My friend had a disc with wild animals on which was just amazing!
Thanks 👍🏻
You could get a view-master that wasn't red? Who knew ...
Yup. My own one was red but when I either lost or broke it, my Grandma gave me hers, which I'm assuming is from the 1960s.
Ah the Bat-Copter. Taking a ride in that thing was both thrilling and terrifying. lol
LOL 👍🏻
Great video , the little tv is such a unique idea. Was interesting to learn about how a view master works as certainly not an item of my generation.
Thanks Jack. 👍🏻
That is the coolest toy i have seen in over 30+ years, bugger me it's just bloody beautiful.
That is on my to get list for sure!! Yep if it was back in the day, 1st week it would have been sold out forsure..View masters were alsum, Great to see, i had 1 brother and 7 sisters so having just the one in the house, sux as you had to take turns. great video and allsum gift..will..n.z
For sure, this TV is one of the best things in my collection.
I'm amazed that this stuff can still be found in the condition that it's in.
Not sure what you mean? The mini TV is brand new and I've had that View-Master in my possession for about 40 years.
That is very cool
One of the coolest things I've ever seen.
That was awesome great video I'm going to get one for myself have a great weekend coming up
Thanks. You too 👍🏻
I want that TV!!! I've only ever seen the other 3 in the store though. :/
Hopefully they come back in stock soon.
@@AllThings80s Yeah, unfortunately they don't stock them at all at my close Walmart and I only get out to the one at the mall once every month or two. I might want the Back to the Future one too. I got the South Park one. I hate Friends though so definitely won't ever be getting the whole set. lol
@@lonedragon3261 yeah, I wouldn’t thank you for the Friends version.
I've seen them in stores but no batman tv yet.
