Im a platinum staus dasher in Miami Beach Florida, with a 100% completion rating, 98% AR, 2850 Deliveries, 93% on time and the reality is you do get some higher paying orders but you're driving farther to make that money and you still get bombed with $2-3 orders. Imo platinum, gold, silver status is nothing more then a marketing gimmick

In my market in Erie PA, I have seen a 30% bump in the high paying order payouts than before platinum status. They do take a little bit longer and you have to be careful to watch out for out of position and drive back into hot zones. If you get to the edge of civilization you can get trapped into Erie to Waterford runs, like 30 minutes per delivery. I have gotten thrown some lowball orders on starting that I will decline and the algorithm seems to respond with a relatively decent higher paying order within an order or two that I do accept. I also get more under 2 mile add on that are almost always 1.5 dollars per mile. Platinum, 100% completion, 78% AR, 4.97 customer. Estimated hourly as Platinum 22.50 to 25 at peak. Next challenge keeping delivery above minimum, I drive for a local DSP for smile boxes. Lol

Sorry man I find $22-25 every hour on the hour hard to believe. Here in Miami Beach it's more like $10-14 the hour more or less. As a writing this right now I started working at 6:15 and have done five orders and it made $48 and I got a $5 cash tip tonight is an exception to the rule. The reality is you're working the whole day and taking right to ten orders total and killing yourself to make $60 bucks, on a good day it's $70-85 bucks. I see people all the time saying I made $120-150 in three hours which I find hard to believe especially if your cherry picking. From what I see with all these apps the days of cherry picking are over and done with the reality is you need to keep a high AR like you already know to get higher paying orders
And they’ll still deactivate you randomly without warning or cause

If customers could just simply submit their subs that would help loads.. Idk why most just think the stores will have the items they requested for.. Gotta think realistically.. Do your subs! Helps a shopping dasher much more than they would think..

I'm a platinum driver and keep a mid 70 to low 80s AR and average around 23-24/hr over the whole month. Pay and market tends to fluctuate depending on time of the month, i.e. last 4-5 days of a month is lower than mid month. And some days are just crap 13/hr and others amazing 30+/hr delivering to the same neighborhoods.
So i was gold on Monday with 76 deliveries in 30 rolling day (77ar). I reached platinum on thursday with a 76ar. The moment i got platinum i received 7 no tip high mile orders on a row. Took me right out the platinum status.while i was gold i received better orders
Another great video Mike! To answer your question, I’m starting to just issue refunds if I haven’t received either a text response or a call back about substitutions after 5 minutes.

In Target, you can use the price check machines throughout the store to look up the item and it will tell you the aisle number.

I just made Platinum Dasher. In my market, I haven’t seen a difference in offers.
It has been slower than ever since this new program I am in silver level
My 4 hour shift was good today made $110 I’m not complaining
When you issue a refund you get wacked on shop and deliver!!!! You don't on pickups when they dont have it.....something to think about for sure!
In the LA area I got an email saying there was going to be a new top Dasher but it had to be 150 a month. I believe any comments on that one starting May 15.
Since your trying to reach Platinum for DoorDash, you should try doing the same for Uber Eats
The only thing platinum gets you is a high place to fall from
This program just dropped in my market yesterday. Started as a platinum, AR around 73. The good news is that this may keep you busy and not sitting in parking lots as much.
Bad news is that overall payouts and tips seem to be much lower on average. Did around 15 deliveries since the program started, just one order had a payout over $10 and zero orders had a tip over $6. Thats two lunch shifts and two dinner shifts of dashing. I'm not optimistic.
You only get shop and pay orders I'm not wasting my time with those orders we are food delivery app not shipt.

Ok I have basically always been at silver but they've been giving me such crap orders only $2 and only $2 and only $2 for so many miles and I've been letting the tomer go, so of course now I'm down to 44% or so. Do i Take those two three dollar orders or just not even worry about it?
Same here. I have dropped from 60% to 30% this week because of all the $2 for 7 miles or so offers. As you can see, I stopped caring about doordash rewards...

In order to get better orders, you have to lose more money, so it is a wash at best, why bother
I wait until I am in the checkout lane then I just refund if no reply.
Not worth it. It's a ploy to get drivers to accept losing offers just to maintain the level requirement. Only to get a good paying offer about 25 percent of the time. So 3 out of 4 offers are going to be ones you'd typically decline but now have to accept if you want to stay platinum.

I wait one minute. 60 seconds. Unless I'm not done and then they can get back whenever, but if I'm ready to check out? One minute.

But if it's the first item, you can text the customer and then get the other shopping done while waiting for a response.

@@caliopeknows844 I’ve been in there several times and they never have the merchandise that people are buying then they have 1 or 2 registers open and huge lines with full as hell shopping carts. It’s too much trouble to take an order. Plus only work Friday and Saturday 4-8pm so I’m sure that’s a busy time for them.
