Great video, beautiful pictures! Love the shot with the lights and reflections at the end. At the beginning of the video, it shows October 14, in the data below the video says filmed 10/7/2024. Sorry 🙃

Do you know when they will switch to the winter schedule with the NB out of Pinconning? And do you know when that train would usually go On duty? Love your videos I don’t think alot of people document this area enough.

I appreciate it! Since me and a select few others started posting this line a few years ago there was barely any coverage really out there. But to answer your question usually sometime in November is when they go on the winter schedule. I think the Grayling train still runs five days a week in the winter and the Alpena train runs north from Pinconning Monday night and arrives back there Tuesday evening, then goes back up north Wednesday night and gets back to Pinconning Thursday evening. Of course things could change this year we never know.

I forgot to add I never caught them down in Pinconning in the winter so I'm not a hundred percent when they go on duty.

@@HuronRailProductionsGotcha thank you for the info I’m from Ohio I visited back in July and want to get up again when the snow falls soon really like everything about the area. It could change with USG rebuilding the alabaster branch back so who knows.

Ah ok nice, yeah I’m not sure how the Alabaster stuff will impact the current operations, think it was due to start up in the spring I thought I read somewhere.
