Balboa Park is awesome!! Best model train museum anywhere !!!! And I'm lucky enough to have visited the Air and Space museum a dozen + times before the 78 fire...
Beautiful gardens! It has been a long time since I have been. My sister comes to town tomorrow for two days, from Atlanta. Perhaps we’ll go, even though cherry blossom season is over.
Three days ago we just purchased the membership at "Descanso gardens" (also went to Huntington gardens not part of membership) which allows us into this Japanese and San Diego Botanical Gardens. The only reason we did it this way because of the crazy 90 mile rule at some of the gardens and we could apply the cost of Descanso. The roses should be in bloom soon too at Balboa Park.Gorgeous pictures of the blossoms Chris...loving your watermelon shirt
Thanks for this, Chris! It brings back so many great memories of my trip to San Diego in January! I spent most of my trip at this garden taking part in a bunch of events and artisan demonstrations! What an amazing place! When did you film this video? When I was there at the end of January, the blossoms had already started to bloom. I wish I could have been there for the Wisteria blooming!
Yokohama is our sister city but also the garden in Yokohama is our sister garden. They share the same name: Sankeien. It's actually one of the best gardens I've experienced, the one in Yokohama I mean.

I’ve been to the Japanese garden at Huntington Library many times but didn’t know this one. I must visit soon. Thank you so much for this video.
OMG how cute with your daughter & the watermelon 🍉 “twins”!
Hi Chris. Wonderful day to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms. Worth the price of admission. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks James!

Yeah. I think it's still a nice garden to visit... more peaceful when there aren't any cherry blossoms
Princess is very cute wearing watermelon dress and bag❤
You got lucky they’re so much in bloom…we were there on March 10th (my sons birthday) and they were only a little over 10% (still a lovely experience)
Ah. Little tiny buds
Sending to my daughter & her husband for Vacation options for the future!
Nice!
Great video Chris 🎉🎉.
Thanks Michelle!
Iwas just there yesterday to see the cherry blossums in full bloom . 🌸🌸🌸😍👍🤗
Awesome Jordan! 100% now?
I always enjoy visiting the garden. There are certain days that if you live in San Diego, you can get in for free. I love your new watermelon lick.
It's a cool spot! Glad you like the shirt. I thought it fit for the cherry blossoms
Wow
Love the Watermelon Shirt

I recorded this just a few days ago
🥰🫶 - Awwwww....
Looks like they need to make the paths one-way. Too many rude people walking two-abreast and not moving over so others can pass.

This place seems to have more going on than the Japanese Tea Garden at Golden State Park.
where's the yellow shirt?
