So, are you curious about some new characters like Opal, Madam Herta's Emanator Form, Sunday and Tingyun? Well, lucky for you, you've managed to land on the perfect video to get that info.
In this video, I will mainly discuss about some recent info that we got on the playability and release date of Opal, and along with this, I will also talk a little bit about the drip marketing for the characters appearing in patch 2.7. Other than all that, I also have a bit of a sad news for my Fellow Screwellum mains.

I had an idea on Opal's kit. Seeing the trailer of the ten stonehearts and the gameplay in 3.0+, I think his kit revolves around summoning IPC Agents to engage in battle. His utlimate can change the elements of the Agents based on the enemy to perfectly defend the Boss Baby (Pepeshi Poweer!).

Thank God they chose to release Opal first cuz the Stoneheart ladies were so cool I can’t skip them. Hopefully both Sunday and Tingyun will work good with upcoming summon characters and even if they don’t, I don’t care. I’ve been waiting for both of them for so long!

Aventurine and Sunday are a must in my account, not only I'm a new f2p player with just 1 limited harmony (robin) and 1 limited sustain (lingsha), but they're my favorite characters from penacony. As for the rest of my jades, yeah if i have remaining jades after that I'll go get my second DPS cuz i just have feixiao.

This is an update regarding 5star tingyun's kit : they said that she will be like ruan mei , a general support , in which she is a break support but not limited to it. (Also her ult has a debuff which isnt guaranteed to hit so better get that effect hit rate if you plan to prefarm)
If Tingyun can replace Ruan Mei in the Break team I'm 100% getting her
Hope this isn't the case. Was looking forward to her replacing harmony trailblazer so I could have a fire Break team. Firefly, tingyun, ruan mei, and lingsha.

There was some speculation on reddit, of how tingyun is more of a universal support than a primarily break support, kinda like ruan mei. Now whether this is true or not is still TBD, however it was marked as questionable on the page.

I am definitely pulling Acheron's signature LC to make her E0S1, then I think I will choose either Sunday or 5* Tingyun, I just am not sure who is better for my roster and upcoming content. Once I see more details about them, I will make up my mind. I see that in this game, it makes sense to accumulate several thousands of stellar jades and pull E2S1 rather than spread thin.

With Tingyun now being said to look like a general support for more than just break, working kind of like Hunt March with different effects dependent on an ally, I'm definitely gonna have to go for both in 2.7, and just pray they're not immediately putting out The Herta (...they definitely are). As for Opal... It'll depend on how cute he is... I'll do my best to save...

Screwllum is really getting the Baizhu treatment huh (teased since 1.0 but not released until much much later on). If it's the same situation, Screwllum 3.6 seems viable considering Simulated Universe updates (like Ruan Mei, he should release along with an SU update). As for Opal, I'm excited to see his kit, more sustains are always fun after all (if he's going to be Preservation).
because i accidentally get lingsha yesterday i think i'm gooing to skip rappa and go for acheron lc instead. and then depending on their kit i will be pulling for sunday or tingyun, especially if tingyun can replace ruan mei as a support in a break team.
i really need ruan mei replacement to make both FF and boothill to work.
I feel like Opal won't be a pure dps and might be more support focused cuz all the ipc we have right now have some form of damage and support, where aventurine can do a lot of damage with follow up while shielding, topaz can debuff and jade can buff with both mainly doing damage

Herta is one of my favourites, I hope her kit will be something that can fit my account. And if what I heard about Tingyun's kit is true, then that's something I wouldn't mind pulling for. As well as for a Preservation unit, if that's what Opal will be, though I don't like how Hoyo does kid characters.
They better not mess up our lord, otherwise so many followers will be disappointed 😢
Probably just Sunday and Aventurine Eidolons. Maybe Opal for Boss Baby or Hitman Reborn vibes like you said. Not sure about Tingyun, depends on what’s coming up after her, there’s that Fate collab.
Opal changing elements mid fight probably means we'll get a boss who shifts elements mid fight too. Which sounds exciting and scary at the same time xd. I wouldn't be surprised if it hints to the start of a dual dps meta.

There are only two characters I'm truly excited about Emanator Herta and Sampo Masked. I'm saving all of it for herta if she's a summon archetype. Everything for FUA shenanigans. And I just liked sampo as a character, he's shady but considering he's ex-masked that's to be expected.

Around 2.6, I think I'll go for Aventurine to start investing at Feixiao's premium team. Also around 2.7, I might skip unless stated that Sunday is a huge addition to my account. Otherwise, I'll skip him to have sk.e pulls for Opal if he's a good follow up support. If not, then I'll continue saving and getting rerun characters instead until I get a character I like.
Sunday and Tingyun in 2.7, 2.6 is a patch for save my jade's since I have all rerun characters and I'm not interested in Rappa.

my absolute favs are acheron sunday and 5* herta but for acheron I would give only 10-20 attempt pulls and if I loose my 50/50 on her once again then fine, it's a guarantee for sunday. acheron has already given me a good guarantee before, for aventurine, so I'm absolutely fine if she says it's not her time yet to get to my acc, I'll wait for her like time does not exist but in case for sunday... I'm absolutely sure I'll spend all my 200+ pulls on him and his light cone and even if I don't manage to get super lucky I won't care with this amount he will be locked up in the basement of MY account, I will buy him out like a slave he is from hoyo's filthy rich hands and he will be MINE. morals don't pay for my champagne anyways, so he better be a good birdie and not mess up with my pulls. but as I said in comments to your other videos I tend to be quite lucky and even with just 200 pulls I can get literally multiple wins which is the case in like 3/4 times. and sunday himself didn't allow me to get moze, stopping my pulls at 60-something with his four star light cone... guess my insanity is mutual ijbol

Right now, I think I just want Rappa, Tingyun (if she helps Acheron) and Herta. Not really interested in the others, since I have no compatible units for Sunday. Unrelated, but I picked up PGR, and there's a character who looks like our Queen Acheron.
Following pattern drops on certain characters which I made an article assuming the drops of upcoming characters like topaz dropped before patch 1.5 and ruan mei dropped after patch 1.6 I would assume screwlum might drop around 2.8 or 2.9 and opal might drop between 3.1 to 3.3.
I question opal dual element mechanic it maybe cool but would it be worth it due to element res being a thing probably hoyo might f up his kit like they did with Jade I hope not anyways tanks for the yapping as always
Im not sure about Tingyun, releasing her playable character sooner than she is back in story since she had quite a role on Xianzhou Luofu, it just feels weird.
