Richard and Larry's interaction was absolute gold. To be blessed with such a friend throughout your life makes it all worth living. Rest in love and serenity Richard, you will be sadly missed.
RIP. His work will live on. A hundred years from now people will still be crying from laughter watching this show. He was an inspiration to us all and a reminder of what you can still do in old age. He and Larry David both saved their best for last.

It’s amazing to watch the progression. Their interactions become better and better over time. Lewis and Larry’s conversations are the pinnacle of this show’s genius.
We all are aging. A lot of people whom I used to watch in movies and television have started passing away. Be mindful of the transient nature of life. Do not take things for granted. We come empty-handed to this world. We leave empty-handed as well. Love your parents and people around you. You never know, when you or someone from your family leaves this world forever.
Loved Larry and Richard's parts the best in the show. Imagine two lifelong friends being this talented and funny together, we were blessed. Will miss you Richard ❤🩹❤
You can be sure LD is completely besides himself with the loss of his oldest, most dear friend for over 70 years. Richard Lewis’s comedic talent was a gift, a one of a kind gift who was well ahead of his time, even back then. A sweetheart, a comedic genius, and a man who loved others more than he loved himself. Richard was so wise and his life lessons are invaluable, and as always, Richard would share anything he had if he thought you needed it more than he did. Such a wonderful man, actor, comedian, and a dear dear friend to many. RIP Richard. Always Remembered, NEVER forgotten. XO😢
“You stole my outgoing message in my answering machine “….. haaa haa haa..@15:57 I swear there are a handful of scenes of their banter that I rewound, played, rewound etc….. probably to an unhealthy level but….damn these two are soo funny and totally unique they will be revered as total classic scenes. When Richard tells Larry about his parents dying and Larry finds it funny…….??? My god😂😂RIP R.Lewis. He was in soo much pain for such a long time. I really hope there’s a place where we go afterward that has some semblance of relief of life’s pains. He should be able to cut the line. @53:18
Just start to see this series for the first time. (yes, believe me). Just fine and precious gold. So hilarious and the chemistry beetween this two is tremendous,an amazing show indeed. RIP Richard.
I'm seriously going to watch this everyday. Ive rewatched this show many times but never really paid close attention to the straight zingers these two lay on each other.
As a young kid I was never a fan of Richard Lewis when he was on Letterman or Carson. Curb came alone and I have loved the guy since day one. Rest in paradise Mr. Lewis
Makes sense this is the last season of Curb. It's nothing without Richards antics. Him and Larry are the Grumpy Old Men of our time 🥺Thank you for making us laugh!💕
These two, on their individual comedic talents - phenomenal; together on "Curb" had me in tears too many times to count. 😂 Bless you, Mr. Lewis...all the laughter you brought to this world, despite anything you were struggling with. ❤
This was just perfect. Richard and Susie were always Larrys best foils, maybe due to the clear underlying affection for each other. That last scene broke me, man. R.I.P
These two made Curb your Enthusiasm funny as hell,The Braclet with the blind guy and help him move is one of the funniest episodes,Lewis laughs his ass off when they get back and the jewelry store is closed and Richard says shit happens and Larry calls Richard a babbling brook of bullshit 😅
Larry is funny on his own but Richard Lewis stole the scene every time they were in the same room. What a hilariously solid performance he brought to Curb! Mr. Lewis is deeply missed 🥲 and Bob Einstein
I am so sorry to hear that he has died. He and Larry David had so many memorable spontaneous interactions on Curb Your Enthusiasm...A true genius. He will be missed.
I’ve never seen Richard Lewis till this show and thank god I started to watch this show on its 11 season. My girl and I started to watch it from the first season. Rip legend.
Richard truly has SO many funny lines that you don't even notice unless you're paying attention. He mutters them while larry is talking or very quickly sneaks them in with perfect timing so you don't even notice it's a joke until you think it over. He was a brilliant comedian.
I want to cry when I watch this 😪. Richard was so amazing. We lost a great icon. I just love 💘 his comeback lines. Richard and Larry's bantering are the best. Their friendship was so incredible. The mantra was the greatest. Do you know what it means. I really enjoyed this video. RIP Richard.
Just pure comedy gold, Richard you will be greatly missed by us all, I just love watching the very last scene of 'Vow Silence' when Larry stands up Richard at the restaurant after assuring him he will be there (no confirmation!!) just pure comedy gold, the best scene of all Richard's appearances
Richard was in recovery, a textbook example of someone getting clean and staying that way. Way to fight the good fight sir! Inspiration for all of us other sinners.
45:55 is the greatest moment in the show. The way they go from having and innocent, normal conversation to outright screaming at each other is so fucking funny.
Richard and Larry's interaction was absolute gold. To be blessed with such a friend throughout your life makes it all worth living. Rest in love and serenity Richard, you will be sadly missed.
So true Charles so true.
Such a beautiful tribute 🥰
Love this guy. He’s hilarious 😢
Interesting thing they were born 3 days apart😂 Larry is 3 days younger than Richard 😂
Sweet ✌
Loved Richard Lewis. He was a pillar of Curb.

Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Richard Lewis, J.B. Smoove and Susie Greene are the pillars of improv comedy mastery that make Curb a masterpiece of humor.
@@ingwevanyarin3839 Yes, so true. Don’t forget Bob Einstein . Even Ted Danson was good for his responses and dustups with Larry.
It totally helps that Larry and Richard were best friends cuz the scenes with them are always so damn funny 😂 RIP Lewis
I'm in tears watching this...they were blessed to have this kind of friendship, on & off screen. RIP Richard Lewis
I love watching Larry’s interaction with Richard because you could tell they enjoyed making each other laugh.
Exactly they are true friends and comedic heroes ❤️
Richard was Larry's funniest support. So many gut laughs.
Loved Jeff garlin and Susie too
he was so good, weird in the last season when he wanted larrys will, and said he will out live him
Call me before sundown always gets me. RIP Richard, absolute staple of the show. Its only fitting the show is coming to an end.
RIP. His work will live on. A hundred years from now people will still be crying from laughter watching this show. He was an inspiration to us all and a reminder of what you can still do in old age. He and Larry David both saved their best for last.
Name one comedian one hundred years back from today that we now watch his or her shows and cry from laughter. I'll wait.

I know right, I've watched this at least 4 times now and love it 😂
I'm saddened to hear of Richard's passing. I saw him sitting at the bar at the Hard Rock Cafe in LA back in the late 80s.
Drinkin' a pina colada at Trader Vic's
