Awesome! Another video. We miss ya! For some reason i didn't get the notification for this one and I only found out because I shared your VDP content to some people and what a surprise! More content! Thanks, amigo!
with most of the lighting manufacturers now moving into smart controllable lights , i feel this is a little too late to the market this product . I looked up my Mars Hydro & Viparspectra lights & both are not on the list of compatibility & my new AC Infinity light is controllable by wireless or bluetooth already .😎
Thanks for your insights. Yes, everything seems to be moving towards IOT / smart controllable in the market. Still, there are a lot of folks with 0-10V controllable lights who could potentially benefit from this “smart” retrofit. Yes, AC Infinity have some interesting offerings for single light growers but I do encourage everyone to investigate the security flaws in the Bluetooth GATT standard.
Did you also buy it thinking you could dim the SpydrX+ with it? :D I just got one maybe two weeks ago to then realize I'd still have to make a custom cable adapter, BUT in theory it should work for it :) and no regrets because enough other lights that can use it, currently trying to decide if those gadgets are worth it for the whole room. Nice seeing another video, happy growing and dimming!
I would LOVE it if you could do a martha tent video, growing some gourmet wood loving mushrooms. Adding humidity control the the mix is just a whole new level.
So many great choices. My iLuminar iLogic 8 is friggin’ awesome if you want great photon bang for buck and a wider spectrum. Just don’t forget a controller! :) or a dimmer accessory at the very least.
nice was looking for something like this recently but iv got the wrong drivers, shame id need to replace 4 x 240w from A type to B :/ I hope they add the feature to dim things depending on temperature and humidity, like it would be great to have a power saving mode to dim the lights down the times when VPD is getting up in the numbers and potentially damaging to the plant, would be so nice for it to be able to set a working pace for the plant kind of thing so if the VPD feels too low it ups the lights, and if its too high the lights dim.. I got a wireless humidity and temp thing that connects via wifi, great little thing works with smartlife on ya phone, using that with smart sockets i can turn fans on and off, see how much power the lights and everything uses, my ac infinity controller tells me the VPD but i wanted something to get the lights to dim with the weather, nature self regulates some what, when its humid its rarely clear skies and sunny af.. and when its cold i want to give my plants more sugar so they are on par with a good day, if ya get me.. this thing almost ticked those boxes perfectly one more setting i hope they consider is rolling clouds, simulate things so they go from high intensity back down to lower, let the heatsinks take that extra wattage away and it would be like a wave, you could increase that peak intensity without adding too much power it fries the plants below it, you could set it so its longer or shorter periods on the intensity, and top and low end, then just let it randomise things like nature does. I wonder if it would let you get more work done, but actually relieving pressure on the plant, like it has a chance to refresh its colours more often throughout the day where as if its balls to the wall 12 hours a day there is barely a second to think, things can get yellow quick
Yes, if you’re in the market for a new LED grow light, there are plenty on offerings with Smart Control built in. The Growcast remains a solid control option for growers who already own 0-10V controllable LED or DE-HPS grow light fixtures.
I have something to share with you and show you that isnt really well suited for a RUclips comment. Whats the best way to reach you for stuff like this?
I hear you Richard, normally I am not a fan of “smartphone” controlled devices and favor a simple dial but the security on this product is really tight - unlike some of the alternatives out there. I’d love to see wide angle downward facing cameras incorporated into grow lights and we all compare our canopies via an AI image diffusion model - but not every grower would welcome such a feature, I guess. :)
That's awesome man 🤙 miss your videos, nice to see you putting some out 🙏
Thanks James. Great to be back at it!
Glad you are back, I been bench watching and listening to all your old videos to refresh my memory in my new job in a greenhouse
Very happy to know that some of my older videos have been keeping you company. Best of luck with your new position! :)
damn didnt know you still made videos .
i bought a new set of lights , just cause my growcast didnt work with my old light
im loving it so far
And your new lights didn't allow you to control from your phone without this device? 🤔🤔🤔

Thanks Rob! Appreciate you sharing my VDP videos and working on more regular content now with LEDs front and center.
@@Just4Growers Awesome! I can safely speak for every subscriber, we're looking forward to it! Peace!
Thanks for adding a link to our site!
My pleasure guys. Wishing you all the best.
I've got 2 and just love them. Gonna bet getting 2 more✅👍✌
They’re great aren’t they? I’m going to add side lighting to my room and control that separately on another Growcast. Stay tuned!
Welcome back 😁😁😁
Thanks Yogi.
So dang good to have you back!
Thanks Mark. Great to be uploading again!
The man, the myth, the legend 👏
Can’t keep me down! :)
I love your videos, so quick to the point. I had ADD but never feel the need to skip ahead like other videos. Also very informative 💪🏼
Appreciate your feedback, Elliot. I try to respect your time! :)
Love that you are putting out new content amigo! Best grow channel out there. 🤙🏽🙌🏽
Thanks amigo - really appreciate that! :)

EVEREST WHERE YA BEEN MANG, thanks for the video
I’ve been working to fund renovations. All done now. Back where I want to be. Right here!

@@Just4Growers interesting about the bluetooth security ,are you saying ac infinity controllers are vulnerable ?
Any controller using Bluetooth GATT is vulnerable.
Bro is back!!!
I appreciate you too! :)
Yay!
Appreciated my Bonsai basement brother
looked intriguing until I saw the price. Much better values out there to accomplish the same thing... and much more.

Telos sent me three Growcasts for review. I’ll be hooking them up to different grow lights as I progress the room build.
I would LOVE it if you could do a martha tent video, growing some gourmet wood loving mushrooms. Adding humidity control the the mix is just a whole new level.
Fungi … hmmmm … that’s a whole new kingdom! Certainly one that I’m interested in exploring.
Martha tents are old hat. Horticultural grow tens with humidistat, fogger & inline extraction fan are the way to grow mushrooms.
Miss your voice❤
Glad somebody does! :)
Tuya/smartlife wifi 0-10v dimmer, has anyone tried connect one of those to their growlight?
Glad to see you're making videos. Seen you posted this on Instagram had to check it out.
Appreciate you stopping by amigo!
What led grow light do you recommend, moving over from 600watt hps.

Tell the rj11 that ur plants needs a lil less water fammy!
Thanks! :) I reduced each irrigation volume and they are looking happier these days. I’ll post an update soon. :)

Bummer. Not compatible with my Electric Sky ES300. Been shopping for a new one anyway. It's an obsession!!
Does the ES300 come with a dimmer?
75% of chinas new growlights are phone app controlled now.
