Most of the crab meat is being shipped over seas at over seven dollars a pound its not being sold here. Crab like everything else on our coast is being over fished and will not change until they are gone.

Sad, but true, Ive seen it on History channel. The announcer said, the fishing industry will be done, at this rate in 50 years or sooner! The fishermen they interviewed, were in denial.Heres the scary part, 1.2 billion people on planet earth eat fish daily, its their main staple... so what will they eat in 50 years???

@@budsbustbi6339 crab, apples, the best beef Ive ever seen, blue tuna, all the good stuff goes, cause Americans won't pay the price. It's capitalistic Americans that do it. Dont think they dont keep some here for Bill Gates, Robert Kraft, Donald Trump, they do.Do any Americans want to pay $150.00 for four ounces of blue tuna? Or $25.00 apeice for a special hybrid apple...

Port orford has great camping and you can drive on the beach in certain areas . I've had great times there having bonfires on the beach and rallying my truck on the beach

Sorry but crab tastes better than seaweed. Unfortunately, I have developed an allergy to seafood and here I am living on the Oregon Coast in a fishing/crabbing village.

Ate crab I caught in 2014 on Pacifica Pier in San Mateo county California, had domoic acid poisoning for a week. Never eating Dungeness crab again. Domoic acid is a neuro toxin, really screws up your thought processes and memory. Really serious s**t
