The telepathic horse that the alternate Jimmy was obsessed with was an Easter egg too. Comet the Super-Horse was a Silver Age character probably best known for Supergirl dating him. Certain circumstances would cause him to temporarily transform into a human, so everybody get your minds out of the gutter.

Fun fact, every Mr Mxy you see in media is the same Mr Mxy from the main universe DC, this means that not only is that the same Mxy from the comics, this would automatically make him the most powerful character in My Adventures with Superman

I strongly doubt that Lois is gonna use the Kryptonite on Clark. We know that the General and Ivo are currently working with a inter-dimensional portal and there is a evil Superman in the intro so I’m betting thats she’ll use it on him instead.
Perhaps General Lane will use that piece of Kryptonite to create/turn John Corben into Metallo as I do believe he is set to appear in this season

Maybe what'll happen is that General Lane (I'm just assuming that's who it is because c'mon, who _else_ could it be at this point?) and Task Force X ends up finding the Kryptonite and the info orb it came in, sees all the alternate evil Supermen, and takes that as all the evidence they needs that he's a threat.
"Kiss Kiss Fall In Portal" (not "...in 'a' Portal") is... I think... a reference to the opening theme song of the anime Ouran High School Host Club. One of the very first subbed animes I ever watched. 😂

This show is so good. Changing enough to be fresh and exciting while keeping the feel and tone. It is so much fun and so wholesome. This may be the best superman show I have seen in a long time.

This is the freshest superman I've ever seen, plus it's really nice to just get through all the basic stuff with lois and clark and identities. Plus I just like the unique version of everyone and the unique way they're doing powers so far.

So many references to Superman & Anime history, such a cool episode! I love the fact that they referenced DCAU Superman & Lois… which means this show could technically now be canonical to the DCAU due to the multiverse.
That sword with the demon head on it, it has to be Katana's sword.
Eps 1 and 6 gave us Evangelion and Gurren Lagann references. Ep7 gives us tons more anime (and possibly some tokusatsu) references in one fell swoop! Plus, there's all that good stuff, like Dr. Fate's helmet, Raven's cloak, Mr. Terrific's T-Sphere, a Thanagarian Mace, and Rao knows what else!
Why do I feel like that piece of kryptonite is going to unlock something back in Clark’s Kryptonian base thing?

If you have an existing multiverse within your story you can have your new show go a whole different route while also acknowledge everything that was done before and you can even reference it... Amazing!!!
When he donned his bowler hat, I first thought that know he poofs and we get the comic orange and purple Myx. But I liked what they did instead. And it kinda feels that he is an evolved Myx oder better to say he leveled up.
Probably my fav episode thus far, this Mxy was just FULL of sass lol. But it really is setting up a lot for things to come.
I almost wished the end credits were like in Young Justice with side stories just out of sight. Perfect to show Lois meeting the Kents while not taking away from all that's happening
I still have to watch the full episode myself but I wanted to drop a theory and get opinions. Lois called herself the worst Lois, yet we don’t see the negative sides of the other Lois’ stories. Our Lois discovered Superman’s identity within maybe a month of knowing the man( I don’t remember how much time has passed in the show) while others had to be told YEARS later or found out after their version ‘died’. She also recognizes her own faults and acknowledges them. There’s other reasons but I don’t think I have enough space to put them. Reply if you agree and add your reason for why this version of Lois might be one of the best
Maybe I’m wrong, but I think Lois was basing her worth entirely on her career, comparing it to the the success that the other Loises already achieved while herself still being an intern. She wasn’t looking at the whole picture.
I'm pretty sure it's implied that they've known each other for a few months at the very least.

I love this concept for mxzy they're genuinely intimidating

This episode was definitely the most fun yet. Many Superman easter eggs and references, as well as the introduction to Kryptonite and the greater DC multiverse. Nice to see that the problem with Mxy is due to the events of the previous episode. The league of Lois probably feared that this Superman could be evil, which we all know is a bad thing, hence why thry have Kryptonite and a file on evil versions of Superman. I honestly don't like the use of the evil Superman trope in this episode, even though it is a possibility in the multiverse. Evil versions of Superman is just overused at this point, especially when there are more versions of Superman being good throughout the multiverse than being evil. I fear that Lois being suspicious of her alternate versions will have unforeseen consequences. Not only does she have Kryptonite, but she has footage of alternate versions of Superman being evil. If the general really is Sam Lane, and he gets his hand on either or both of these things, it could potentially ruin Clark's life. The footage alone could just make it so that Superman is never trusted again, especially if it is made public. Not to mention that Kryptonite would be an effective weapon for the general to use against Superman. The next episodes seem to be a multi-parter event that will explain Zero day and end the season. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.
I dont recognize most weapons but I believe some of them are the rail grinding claw from Bioshock Infinite, the Wabbajack from Skyrim, and the Noisy Cricket from MIB.
I think the sword underneath the Wabbajck might be from She-Ra, though I'm not sure why it's square at the edge.
Something tells me that Lois won't keep that piece of Kryptonite, because she'll realize that Clark/Superman isn't always/doesn't always necessarily have to be destined to become a villain, and most of the time, he remains a good man, which is part of what makes him a hero 🤗😉😌👍.
I can also see Clark being like: "You are the only one I trust with this, Lois."
I've been developing a theory, what with Sam Lane's expectation of an invasion, that this Clark WAS sent as a scout or to otherwise prep for a later invasion, but due to being found and raised by the Kents, instead became the classic hero we all know and love (i.e. Krypton gave him his powers, but Earth and the Kents made him a hero).
Basically, the evil Supermans we see in the closing bit are what Clark would have otherwise been (and what The General has been preparing for), but now Clark is going to stand with the humans against whatever the main invasion is going to end up being (Kryptonian Brainiac, Eradicator, Zod, what have you).
The developers did say they patterned Jor-El's look off of Big Boss from Metal Gear... a villain with a heroic son (well, clone son anyway). Maybe they patterned more than just the appearance?
So they're taking a bit if inspiration from Dragon Ball?

I once made a comparison that this whole show feels like what DBZ was trying between Cell and Buu, but fully realized. The fact that that one guy looks like a Kai only strengthens my suspicions.

Because in every scenario where he doesn't become a villain, it's because he has his adoptive but good and loving human parents Ma (Martha) and Pa (Johnathan) Kent, his beloved biological cousin Kara Zor-El (Supergirl), his best friend Jimmy Olsen, and the love of his life Lois Lane (along with future friends in the Justice League) and the purity of his character help him to stay on the right path 🤗😉😌👍.

Ok this is definitely myxy at his best, an entire lois metaverse and presenting a the dark superman storyline. This endung already is preparing the ground floor to finally see what really happened in general lane flashback as well as learn more of krypton in this reality.

I really like the new design of Mxy. I never read superman comics and didn't know about the character before this, but the old man design just looks really awkward to me. Newer design embodies the chaotic fun nature a lot better. Also, Mxy is a "self described chaos god" so in all likelihood he isn't an actual god, just calls himself one.
Mxyzptlk can look however he wants bro lol.
He can change it to anything.
I never liked when comics drew Mxy as a realistic old man, he should always look like a cartoon character regardless of the artstyle

I was way too excited while watching this episode. Love when the past is acknowledged, and this was a refreshing break from the main plot since we're heading towards the end of the season whatever big battle and big reveals await us. But now, I'm really curious if the rules are the same with Mxyzptlk because none of the Loises mentioned anything about trying to make him say his name backwards. (Addendum #1: I totally missed the Kingdom Hearts reference!)

So far this was my favourite episode. There are so many Easter eggs. Even the evil Supermen at the end are Easter egg references. Not sure about the one with the scar, but the other two are Overman from a Grant Morrison Animal Man comic and Justice Lords Superman

So either this Superman is only about to realize that it's very easy to banish Mxy to the fifth dimension just as easy as it is for him to appear, or the writers have buffed Mxy from an interdimensional trickster to an eternally evil and unstoppable entity...

There are so many Ouran High School Host Club references in this show. It is such a shoujo.
So a few things about the easter eggs. 1: the title is a Ouran High School Host Club reference 2: the skyhook from Bioshock Infinite is right below the Berserk sword. and 3. the wabbajack from the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is also under the Berserk sword

Bottom self I see Sailor Saturn's Glave. Guts' sword. The Pink staff looks more like Sakura's Clow Card staff from Cardcaptor Sakura. Bottom right kind of looks like the Breaking Point from Steven Universe, I'm probably wrong on that one. I'm can't quite place that spear. It's not from Eva, maybe Gurren Lagann?

First, I'd want to say that while I like this show i feel it going to fast, some of the stuff that has happened should've happen in lqter seasons.
Second, I think all the evil Supermans might be Ultraman, Red Son Superman, the Injustice Superman, and one's that fell under the influence of a Villain like Poison Ivy.

You know, what I think is amazing is that beyond the whole multi-universe theme, the ending follows an aspect that has been developing throughout the series, which is Clark's fate in this universe? the General (which we can all assume at this point is Sam Lane) is sure that superman is a threat to the world, obviously Loise and Jimmy don't believe this at all, but for the first time Loise can see Clark as a real threat and worse she now has in her hands the biggest weapon to kill her boyfriend. In a way this is a way of doing what BvS tried to do about questioning how dangerous someone like Superman could be, but unlike that disaster of a movie, here we have an emotional connection to the antagonist and also we can see that Clark's morals are enough so that those evil futures do not come to pass.

Also on the Easter eggs there is the grappling gun from bio shock infinite under the berserk sword. And beside it is the wabbajack from skyrim! And I also have a guess that the fan is avatar kyoshi, it could just be a fan but with so many Easter eggs and it looking exactly like it, also with avatar being another anime inspired show like MAWS
The RPG is probly a Resident Evil reference and I’m pretty sure the sword above it is the Crissaegrim from Castlevania LoS2
Earth 12 is the Earth where Batman Beyond takes place, that plus Metropolis looking futuristic makes it fun to imagine that over in Neogotham Terry McGinnis is dealing with Blight while this is happening.
