I have contacted Trees of Joy in order to get one. Wish me luck. Hope it does well in Georgia.

So excited to try this fig! I have 2 that are 6 ft. tall in pots, no figs this year but hoping for lots next year. Thanks for the review, haven't really heard anyone talk about this one before.

Mine ripened several figs this year and they were very good. I will be keeping this one

Totally agree Ross, Sweet Joy is unique & I cant think of anything similar to compare it to. The closest I can think of would be Siblawi but thats a big stretch even. It’s definitely its own fig & a very good one that I definitely have come to appreciate 👍🏼

“The weirder the color the weirder the flavor.” I’ll have to remember that.

Hey Ross, if you still have this tree, let me know if you're selling cuttings of it or gonna sell any air layers. Thanks!

Not growing it anymore, but I think I will reconsider it in the future.

Hey Ross hope your doing well. I have a few figs in my collection, sweet joy being one of them I’m just curious to know I’m in zone 7B if it would be a cold hardy enough variety to plant in ground and get fruit. Do you know anything about it’s cold tolerance qualities? Thanks in advance

I planted in ground in 7b nyc. No problem at all. And I think it has flavor of Durian if very rippen. My favorite.
