This is not the real thing what an R6 can do! IDK why he gets only 109 HP from 2014 model! It has 122 HP! R6 2006-2007 has 125,3 HP R6 2008-2009 has 127.3 HP R6 2010-2016 has 122 HP R6 2017-2020 has 116.8 HP All these at 14500 RPM!

I rode an r6 once and thought it pulled so hard! But I'm now finding out if make 100-110 hp. I'm more excited to buy a newer cbr1000 with 165hp. Its gotta pull more than I can imagine 😍
165 is overkill. Unless your on a drag strip lol... no way your putting all that to the ground .. 1000 cc only beat the 600 in low end torque and overhead speed... I'd take a 6 all day over a 1k... 1k will get you killed quick.. so will a 6 but you get my drift
For what purpose? If you weight 170+ yeah a 1000 is good people never factor road geometry or bike geometry suspension then later on questions why they crash or they just quit riding or fight the motorcycle..

My 2007 Yamaha R6 had an air box clean up kit ... Opening everything up and taking away all the emissions and a cat delete with stock muffler and I made 116? I thought that tec would make more hp but I haven't kept up with everything just seems low... I am not sure if he did anything with the air box but if not he should there is so much rectiction in that thing
because it says yamaha, also the suzuki has a smoother power and torque curve which is better than 3 or 5 more hp when it comes to not lossing the rear tire grip

I'm curious if you ever dug deeper into the R6 and figured out a solution to the twitchy throttle when rolling on and off? My R6 also is running Woolich software so I have full access to the ECU including the ETV tables and ignition timing. Any pointers? Maybe if it's possible we can do a remote tuning session?

Hey Chris, My ‘08 R6 just made 120whp and 50trq at 14,500 rpm, but he didn’t rev it out all the way to redline he said it could’ve made more but said there was no need to go all the way once the chart flatlines?
Chris one q if you can... You didnt bother with the adjustable stucks or we didnt saw it... Did you check if the stucks work correct? Cuz there was some issues with theses shits... And if you change them with standard length stucks what will happen?

Philip Murriel leave high in rpm, I always left around 14,000 so it wouldn’t dip too far out of the power band while slipping the clutch. It’s a fun bike to race

Is it not normal practice for everyone else to warm your bike up before riding? I heard you saying about the R6 bikes not liking to run cold, but I always warm my bike up until cold idle drops before I take off anyway and thought that was standard for most riders.
Tbh as long as you do the proper break in and change oil more often than not.... these motors are meant to be dogged out bruh... if the bike cost 10k.. 7.5 is the motor cost lol

Change the plugs, change or have the injectors cleaned and maybe drain the tank with fuel from a different gas station. Could have some bad fuel it happens
Mike Villalta No you will not. Unless you really want to fine tune the fueling then you can leave the PC on and do auto tune or have it tuned that way. I would find a reputable shop in your area that can do an ECU flash dyno tune or do Bauce racing. They are considered the best in the game for R6 flashes as they have a TON of dyno time and recourses into developing all their different flash options. But I’m sure the Moore Mafia flash is good too.

Variable intake throttle bodies purpose increase the torque at low-middle rpm.
YZFR 600 Thundercat didnt need this rubbish. It was such a good bike it was a preferred engine for heavy sidecar due to it's high mid range torque.
Also the purpose of the exhaust power valve was the same. Dont know why that wasn't adopted instead.
