    Very useful information Ed. I just got my Tucson hybrid, I do have Google set up and Android Auto. But being 77 years old, it takes me a while longer to get things going. My dealer here in the states set me up with Blue Link for as long as I own the vehicle with no renewals.

    I just purchased a 2025 Hyundai Palasade (limited) ... this was very informative! 😊

      Cool, unfortunately the palisade still has the older Infotainment system without wireless Android auto...
      Consider a wireless Android auto adapter, check the links in my description.

    Another excellent video. I was a little displeased about how laggy the built-in maps system is when moving the map around, but I didn't know that's not an issue when using Google maps with Android Auto (or presumably Apple CarPlay as well).
    Also, I believe that at least in the US, most of the newer Hyundai vehicles offer Bluelink+ completely free to the original owner for the duration of ownership.

      Thanks!
      Yeah it looks like it's free for life in Canada too, but they haven't announced it. But despite that, I'd still use Android Auto

    Street names missing of bigger streets is weird on the Hyndai CCNC

    Hey Ed. Have you seen an image of the 2026 tucson yet? Do you think there'll be a refreshed exterior?

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  8 дней назад

      The exterior was just refreshed for 2025. The redesign isn't for at least a couple years still

      @edsgarage001 So you think the 2026 will look exactly like the 2025 both inside and out?

      I don't just think it, I know it 🙂

      @edsgarage001 Perfect. Thanks a lot. No need for me to wait. I may as well pull the plug now.

    I own a 2023 Telluride top trim. I connect to the vehicle system via Bluetooth. I hardly ever use Apple Car play. My system works about 99% of the time. I seem to have a much better user experience than you are having. If I had the user experience that you just had, I would definitely use Apple CarPlay or android auto. My wife’s Honda Accord has Wireless Apple Car play and honestly it is not so good.

      Carplay is meh.... Android Auto it's definitely the better option.
      The telluride has basically the exact same system as the palisade
      Try sending a text... You can't. That alone is enough reason for me to choose Android auto.
      Call a business name... Can't
      Send and receive messages outside of sms.. can't
      Etc etc.. Android auto is honestly better. It just has more power.
      Not to mention, when your navigation map starts to get old, it'll need an update. But Google maps is always up to date.

    Does Android Auto work with the HUD information on the glass screen? (On tucson excellence version 2025)

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  8 дней назад

      Yes, with Hyundai's new CCNC system, Android auto turn by turn directions show up on the HUD
