Hi Nick, thanks for such a detailed video, I'm going to be new to Merc from BMW, I've learned loads that brochures and usual review vids don't show, so this has helped massively!
I just picked up my GLC 300 2024 yesterday. Your video is really helpful, the guys from the Mercedes did go through on how to use mbux ,but just in case I need more information I just watch your videos.
Thanks for this very informative video. I just bought the fully loaded glc3002024 4matic late November 2023. I'll be using this video to educate myself more on my new baby.
Nick is great. The videos are VERY well done and it is a pleasure watching them. Thanks for such a wonderful job with these videos. We get our GLCs (two of them) next week and our videos are a great help.
Hi Nick - Thank you for all your very useful videos (watching you for more than 3years already - almost 4y coming soon). Not sure if you make video about electric car (such Tips & tricks), I would be much appreciated to know and watch this too.
Thank you! 🙏 glad you’ve enjoyed the videos! I’ve made a couple of tips and tricks about range etc (especially with the cold weather this morning) Plus I might have an EV outside for testing today…video coming in the next few weeks!
Very informative video! Great job! Picking up our 2023 GLC300 SUV today. Will definitely use this video and your related videos to educate ourselves. Thank you!
WOW! … Thank you so much for an extremely professional tutorial and video on the C43,Ordered mine is the U.S. back in January and awaiting the arrival 🙏… anyway I have to watch your😂 video another 100 times, as there is so much information and I was a-bit worried with the mbux experience, Thank You again, Awesome job!!!
Thank you! All Mercedes get their GPS positioning from satellites 🤓 For the maps, depending on the car, they’ll either be on an SD card, or hard drive built into the car. Most new cars have an E-sim built into it too for data for maps updates etc
Excellent video as ever Nick and so informative too- thank you. Please can you tell me if its possible to remove the mobile and radio blocks at the bottom of the screen? I have a CLA and it would be nicer to have more screen showing.
@@npoleary Thank you Nick. Could I ask one more question, is there a way of setting a reminder on the screen to remind to 'start on board dashcam' when first starting the car?
This is the best video tutorial on youtube! Thank you!. Ive got some questions. Can you configure the quick access menu? (the vehicle icon on the touchbar). Is there a way to create a shortcut to easily access the ambient lighting menu? ( I love to change the colors all the time but is takes time to get there)
Thank you! 🙏 That would be good! I don’t believe you can sadly, it’s fixed. Best thing to do would be to create a favourite on the favourites menu 🤓 (the star of the steering wheel)
Thank you! There isn’t a setting for that, but if you say “Hey Mercedes” then immediately say your command, it’ll skip it. Or you could use the button on the steering wheel which would skip it anyway
A very interesting and informative video. I did not too badly with my Jaguar I pace and my Mercedes EQC lost 4,000 after 10 months. I am anticipating a big loss when I dispose of my BMW i4 M50 because I paid over list price when I bought it.
@@npoleary I was hoping for an electric Mercedes C class size with a 0 to 60 time of around 5 seconds. I have recently traded a six year old A 45 for a 72 plate A35 and my wife has driven it for the first time today and told me she likes it a lot and thinks it is much nicer to drive than the old A45. Do you know where I can get a cable with a C plug to connect my Sony Walkman to the A35. Thanks Alan.
Ah yes I guess the closest thing that Mercedes offer is probably the EQE. Oh yes well I have adapters that I’ve recommended on my channel, commonly in the description. amzn.to/3kEchgr Just bear in mind the only way a Walkman would work is if it can act like a memory stick, otherwise Mercedes multimedia systems won’t recognise. It might be called “Mass Storage” or something
Hi Nick I've watched literally all your vdos on the Mercedes and I absolutely love your presentations. I'm picking up my GLA45s next weekend. I saw on another channel, the 6 swipes on the touch pad takes you to a "Dealer Mode" menu. I haven't seen your take on this one
Ah nice! Thank you! Glad you enjoy them! I have heard of hidden menus and that particular one I’ve looked at but there’s nothing interesting in there. There is the ability to cause damage to the system such as deleting the maps completely so I’ve not posted about it as I’ve not found anything useful.
Excellent video thank you. I picked up an EQE AMG yesterday. How do I switch between media subtypes eg Spotify and Audible through MBUX without picking up my phone? Thanks.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Usually it’s best to use Apple CarPlay / Android Auto for functions like that but I have heard of a Mercedes Entertainment thing where it’s built into MBUX that I would like to cover soon on my channel!
Hi Nick. Another excellent video among all your others. Is there a way to add “Personal POI’s” to the satnav, in particular speed and red light cameras? I watched your NTG6 video (very helpful) where you explained how to add them via a USB stick and wondered if that was possible with NTG7. They worked perfectly in Australia on my old A35 but I now have a new A45S with the new MBUX. Cheers mate
Thank you! Yes it’ll work exactly the same way, the Personal POI menu is just in a different place 🤓 It’s top left of the Navi screen and then into settings in there
@@npoleary Thanks mate, you’re a champion. As soon as I plugged the USB in with the SCDB files, it worked. For what it’s worth, many people on the Australian pages I follow on Facebook regularly refer to your RUclips videos when they post questions about their Merc’s because they’re excellent. Cheers mate!
Thanks, Nick. i finally managed to get the access protection code turned off, watching the video again, although it took a bit of finding. My next problem is to do with the tiles you talked about by touching and holding so you can move them, when i select my favourites radio station and move them to the front of the list, when i go back in the car and press the star button on steering wheel they are back at the end of the list, even though i am log my profile., Merc43
Oh really? Pretty sure it’s meant to, although I’ve not used or been into the favourites menu for quite some time. So if you’re having issues or you don’t think something’s right, I’d defo suggest chatting with your local Mercedes and they’ll be able to take a look.
@npoleary thanks again. Nick might have to go to the local garage. They might not be too keen as I did not but it from them due to their attitude when I went in to hopefully order from them.
It doesn’t matter where you’ve bought your car from. Mercedes warranty is valid in all Mercedes Showrooms across the UK 👍🏼 Although I did try the favourites thing in my own car just now and it doesn’t save the position. I don’t use it all though so it doesn’t really bother me personally. Maybe they might do a software update in the future or something?
Hi Nick - Just collected my 10 month old C300d Estate with MBUX7. Great set of videos but still haven’t found any reference to displaying the date on the main driver screen. Any ideas?
Thank you! No sadly not seen any way to view the date on the main driver screen in Mercedes. I know you can set it in settings but not sure where else it appears.
Thank you for this wonderfully informative and well done tutorial. I’ve just purchased a 2024 GLC, ( here in USA) and subscribed to your channel as a great resource. Just wondered if you knew whether the coolant temperature indicator could be added to the classic theme center screen instead of switching to service display to see it. It’s handy to know when the engine is up to temperature as I live in seasonally cold climate. Thank you.
Thank you! Glad you enjoy the videos! Sadly no, I’ve got the same instrument cluster in my car and the only way to view it is to go to the service menu.
I just bought the 2024 AMG GLS 63 and WOW - what a great car. But my screen doesn't look like this - I have the wide version. Is there possibly an updated walk-through for the 2024 version?
Awesome! I could add it to the list of potential future videos! I’ll have to swing in to my local dealer and film one again but on that screen instead🤓
Hi Nick, great videos that will help me when I get my 1st Mercedes. A couple of Qs: Can the EQA 250 have 2 profiles in different languages? Does the NTG software come on new EQA models now in production? My car is due to be delivered in Sept 2023.
Thank you! I don’t believe so, there’s a system wide option but not individual for the profiles as far as I’ve seen NTG is the generation of multimedia system so NTG 6 is the latest for the EQA as far as I’ve seen. Best to speak to Mercedes to keep in the loop though! 🤓
Great and very useful video. On my 2023 Mercedes C Class I set the navigation to the traditional style but have 1 query. On saving all my destinations to favorites I want to move them around into alphabetical order but cannot fathom how to achieve this. Any suggestions.
Thank you! Picked it up a few hours ago and used your videos to set everything up, thank you so much, I love it! I just have one question, on this model car, I cannot figure out how to get the MPH readout in between the two dials and in the middle of the cluster. I put the steering wheel down as far as it goes, and it is obstructing the mph dial on the left as well as the mph readout that is located on the top/center. I’d like it center/center, I hope this makes sense? It’s driving me crazy! Thx!
Ah awesome! I think it depends on the model, for example on mine I can’t put a “big speed” in the middle, but if you swipe up / down, you’ll be able to see exactly what’s available
Great vids Nick. Couple of quick questions on NTG7 on a new A200 with the landscape screens: can you turn off the greeting when you switch on please, and having changed the position of an item it won't retain it. keeps going back to default. Thanks
Yes you can! I’ve switched mine off 🤓 It’s in System Settings and under Audio if I recall, it was called greeting tone or something. Hmmm that doesn’t sound quite right have you spoken to Mercedes about that last one?
Hi Nick again thanks for your work 👍👍 You can hide the squares right above the climate control by sliding it down, if you want a lager view. And dit you know that you can get ski report in the weather app, if you put a ski area 😊
Thank you so much for you content, this is very useful. I got one question, could we customize the zero layer? Like if we want the phone menu to be on the left of the screen or add other more menu on the at the bottom of the screen, thank you.
I remember there was a way that you can customise a few things. Although it’s been a while since I had a car on test with that. I’m sure you could hold your finger on certain icons and it would do something 🤓 Most of the time though it just predicts what your going to do 👍🏼
Thank you! Glad you enjoy the videos! Really sorry I only started my channel in 2020 so haven’t got access to cars other than my own, my local Mercedes or at Mercedes Press Office. I have the Sat Nav’s covered if I recall, depends if you have Garmin Map Pilot or COMAND
I have order it a C Class 300 4MATIC 2023..Im waiting..I will have the same settings on my MBUX ? Or not cause it's the different car ? If i have the same i want watch this video soo i can learn about MBUX. Thanks!
Many thanks for your video; highly insightful. Already implementing new information with my 2024 c300e PHEV. 1. Kindly clarify how to navigate to settings to avoid congestion charge routes (not very clear; shows for ULEZ zones). 2. The debate about MBUX navigation Vrs Waze with Apple Car play: your views pls? I realized Waze is king for London commute, or small towns; whilst MBUX rules the motorway routes. 3. Dashcam features video please 🙏🏾
Thank you! Glad you enjoy the videos! I believe in Mercedes systems it’s just called Toll Roads or Toll Routes, there’s usually an option called Electronic Payment / Cash / Off. If you select off then it won’t use any roads that require payment. Found in Sat Nav settings, in approx HOME NAVIGATION WHERE TO? SETTINGS ROUTE and one of the options in there For number 2, Haha that’s a whole video in itself! Keeping it simple though, Waze offers community reporting for police, potholes and more. Plus Waze has a very aggressive traffic avoidance so if it a route will save you 30 secs, it’s probably going to take you that way! 😅 For number three covered this multiple times on my channel already www.youtube.com/@npoleary/search?query=dashcam
I actually just found another video that shows how to do it. There is a way to bring up a list view of the stations and you can move and delete them by clicking on the three dots.
Good morning, quick question: how long does Mercedes update their systems? I have a MB from 2020 Class A and I wonder if it is possible for the latest MBUX 2.4 update to be supported by my version? does Mercedes do the same thing as, for example, Apple, by disabling its systems from updating, which is combined with an "encouragement" to buy a newer version of the car?
So Mercedes provide updates for a number of years (although they don’t disclose the number as far as I know). These are probably going to be security and/or bug fixes. Sat Nav updates are provided via a subscription on the Mercedes me store (usually free for 3 years from new, chargeable after that). This does vary round the world so chat to Mercedes themselves for exact specifics. Then comes the generations of MBUX 👍🏼 MBUX NTG 6 (Gen 1) MBUX NTG 7 (Gen 2) MBUX NTG 7.5 / MBUX NTG 8 (Gen 3) These are not software updates, they have new hardware because they’re installed on a new models with new features so software updates wouldn’t work in that scenario. There’s no disabling, they’re physically new cars with new multimedia systems. Hope that helps!
Hi Nick I have just picked up my GLC 300DE Hybrid but I have noticed that my dash air vents do not light up with the ambient lighting is the same on all GLCs
Ah very nice! 👌🏼 Probably best to ask someone who works at Mercedes on that one they’ll be able to offer greater clarity 🤓 From what I know though, I do recall that they had ambient lights in the vents a while ago but from the sounds of it their specification may have changed (car manufacturers do this several times throughout the year). One of the reasons I don’t list what’s on packages in my videos as it could be out of date a few months later
Apologies been such a long time, but Digital Light video coming soon over the next couple of weeks! I haven't forgotten! 👊🏼 Sneak Peak: It's incredible!
Hi Nick , videos great but just picked up my new GLA 200 Today and I cant get the "Hey mercedes" voice command to call people from my list. can you help please
Ah nice! Well first and foremost when you connected your phone did you select yes for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. If you did then you need to use Siri or Google to make the call. However if you haven’t selected those two and you’re just using Bluetooth then let me know what phone you have and I’ll suggest something else.
Really amazing video, thank you so much!!! I am just wondering about the ‘Time of warning’ setting under the ‘Parking’ menu. I have ‘side warning’ and ‘Front’ but there is no section on ‘Rear’ warning. Does this mean that time of warning for the rear cannot be adjusted or could it be found somewhere else? Thank you!
Thanks for another great video Nick. I have a question about the ambient lightning on the new GLC 300 Suv. The air vents don’t get illuminated and I don’t see the accent option in the MBUX light section. Is there more than one lighting package for this model or is it maybe a technical problem that needs to be serviced? Thanks in advance for your advice.
No sadly as far as I’ve seen, it’s just Mercedes compact cars that have ambient light in the vents. More subtle approach on some higher end models from what I’ve seen 🤓
No sadly not seen a screensaver before but you can toggle the display off with the power button. This doesn’t turn it completely off, as you can still access A/C controls etc
Hey bro your videos are really very helpful. I recently purchased a new GLC and so it comes with the latest MBUX system so while setting up my profile I have done both fingerprint and voice recognition, but every time I sit inside my car always it asks for fingerprint. What do I have to do to select my profile using voice recognition feature? And moreover the easy entry and exit feature is on but the seats don’t move while entering the car…it only moves a tad bit backwards while stepping out. So it would be very helpful if you would clarify these. Thank you.
Thank you! I’m sure the voice thing is easier to use if you’re swapping drivers. Reason I say that is because MBUX takes a little while to load up when you turn it on in the morning, which also includes the Hey Mercedes voice assistant which you’d need to use. So it’s probably quicker to just have the pin off (if you’re just using the car yourself and not sharing with others). For easy / entry and exit, that can happen in any car, depends how it’s configured so not sure if it’s changed since I last produced some tips and tricks on it. In Mercedes cars basically and in a nutshell it only works in certain seating positions. Sadly for me being 6ft 2” it won’t work for me because I’m too tall. Easy Entry/Exit will only work if you are shorter in height and need the seat to move back further away from the wheel in order to get out.
I recently purchased a 2023 C300 and found your video helpful for a few items, but I was wondering id there a way to change the name on the Navigation system, for example I wish to save a place into favourites, but in a month or two I will not remember the name of the street can I edit the street name to something I can remember, so can I change 16 Hill street to Toms Place? Many thanks Mike Brisbane Australia
Great video👍🏻 Is there a way to change music tracks from the steering wheel? Or fast forward/rewind podcasts for example. I can’t find a dedicated button for that. When I use navigation for example there is no button on the steering wheel that does music track change. So strange
Sadly I read in the manual USB hubs aren’t compatible with Mercedes multimedia systems :( so don’t believe they’ll be a workaround What were you trying to plug in? Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hi Nick, nice view! Is there an option for satellite view on the driver cluster screen? if so does it come up like google earth (like the main screen)? thanks
Sadly not been in one and used Radio for a long time, need to visit my local dealer again 😅 Is it not this: share.icloud.com/photos/0a5jPklGJMzCwZ5ef1mFkzDFw I thought it was called Radio Text Information or something similar
That was a screenshot from the manual, i just looked it up…unless I’ve just thought of something. Maybe it’s only visible on the classic view. If you hold the home button and toggle between Zero Layer and Classic layer, does that make a difference?
I’m loving my new A200 which I’ve had about 3 weeks now. Just one niggle with ntg7. I’ve added the dashcam as a favourite and I reorder the list so dashcam is first and confirm the new position. But the position isn’t being retained & next time I return to the car the order has reset to default. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
I would have thought favourites would retain the list but have you not got the dashcam symbol on the top left? Got a video coming soon on the dashcam, it’s faster to start it this way. With the favourites though, a few other people have asked me about that but sadly I don’t know. Best thing if you don’t think something’s right, just get in touch with Mercedes and I’m sure they’ll be able to help!
@@npoleary Thanks for the reply Nick. Yes I can start the dashcam from the icon on the screen but my preference would be to start it from the steering wheel rather than touching the screen. Luckily I have the interior assistant on my car & I’ve realised I can set it to start with the gesture control. That works well for me.
Nick just gone from a 2021 GLE 400d W167 to a X254 GLC300 Ntg7...how / can you change radio station using the steering wheel touch pad like I could on the W167 GLE??
If you swipe up/down on the instrument cluster you can get to the part where it shows you the music information. From here swipe left/right to change track
How do you keep navigation voice on as you are speaking on the phone through the system? I've noticed navigation stops giving voice directions when connected on the phone call.
Hii, I have a problem on a 23 s400d where the automatic mirror fold-in keep turning off, even tho I turn it on, every time when I start the car it turns off. I don't have mercedes me profile set up cause im the only driver
Ah you need the car linked to your account otherwise you’ll be signing into the guest profile all the time so it might not be remembering your settings. Guest profiles are normally just for temporary use.
@@npoleary Thanks, Nick! It works when I say "next rack" but swipe up from bottom of the screen doesn't seem to work, the only way I can do is to use the "last track" or "next track" icon next to the "home" icon.
@jeffreychen5241 oh right if you have a model with the portrait screen there’s already a next track button there so you can’t swipe up in addition to the buttons that’s already there Saying “Next Track” is by far the easiest! 🤓
Got an eqe suv Friday. There are a couple weird things. Text messages by default are linked to notification center. This plays a very loud alert that can't find volume control of. Toggling off the 'add to notification center" setting is not remembered across drives. Any ideas?
Most settings from what I’ve seen when reviewing Mercedes don’t copy across drivers, each driver has their own settings Sadly not seen an EQE SUV properly yet, I had a glimpse of one at the start of the year but not had hands on one yet.
@@npoleary yeah Ive got my profile active through out. So what I meant was, toggle off *add to notification center", turn car off then on, will be renabled. So it doesn't stick to the profile.
Oh I see, I haven’t seen a setting for that but there again sadly not seen an EQE SUV apart from a glimpse at the start of the year. I’m pretty sure that’s just how text messages appear in Mercedes multimedia systems as that’s how it does it in mine
@@npoleary hmm.. so can't lower the volume and disabling the text messages from notification center is only temporary. That is a lot of settings available in the gear/settings of notification center for it to be that "useless" haha. Work around so far is disable text messages over Bluetooth, but allow Android Auto. That changes the "new message" alert to be much more pleasant/quieter. Just means I'm always stuck running AA
It’ll show you some lane guidance from what I’ve seen when exiting a motorway but I don’t believe it does for town driving. Maps are updated as long as you have a valid subscription and it’s linked to your Mercedes account
You can’t sadly, I’ve not seen a way to change that. However when I’ve been to the USA before, I have seen the units in Fahrenheit there so I guess it must be set at factory or something.
@npoleary you would think that, but my last four cars 2010-2019 audi and mercedes I could convert all units km, 24hrs and temperature, a bit odd for a 2024 maybe they will allow it on an update , thank you for the reply.
Sadly not all Mercedes have ambient lighting in the vents, I believe it’s just A-Class, B-Class, CLA & GLA. This might be different round the world though so if you think that something isn’t right get in contact with your local Mercedes, they’ll be able to help! 🤓
Not sure what you mean, so if it's a new GLC 2023, then it's all controlled on the bottom of the screen. If the fan speed can be adjusted for both sides then they'll be fan on both sides, if the fan can only do one side then it'll just have fan for one.
@@npoleary Yes, so like in the video you have control for fan speed on both sides, but I'm missing the control keys for the passenger side. Is that normal?
It depends on the specification of the car, there are options for more climate control buttons and controls. In some cars that I’ve reviewed, they have 4 zone climate control with fan speed adjustment for 4 passengers. Some cars will just have one fan speed adjustment and dual temp, just depends what you opted for 🤓
Do you have any videos or info on the rear screens on an s580 executive. Lol the tablet won't connect. And I can't get any apps up like you tube for my kids to watch. No idea how to use all this stuff.
No sadly not I’ve not seen the rear screens on an S-Class it wasn’t on the car I managed to review some time ago. Plus I’m not sure it’s available for the UK. I have seen the rear tablet though, it’s basically a remote control for vehicle functions in the rear. I don’t believe you can watch RUclips on it though, it’s just a tablet for vehicle functions as far as I recall.
@@npoleary Thank you yea I figured the tablet itself couldn't play youtube and such but I can't get the screens to link up like I've seen in some benz videos. It's hard to find much info on them it's not a common option. I bought this used and it happened to have all this stuff. Otherwise would've never optioned it in. Got a great deal on it so figured it'd be cool to have. The tablet itself won't connect to the mbux system. It keeps trying. The tablet was still brand new sealed in the trunk when I got it.
@@npoleary after a long drive this am and me messing with it the tablet has now linked up. Trying to figure out the real purpose of having the screens lol as they just mirror the tablet. Those back seats tho been sitting in them messing with it are so comfortable. I have a 7 and 5 year old when I finally get the courage to let them ride in it they certainly have nothing to complain about. Thanks for you videos btw I watched the whole 1hr mbux video you did. Learned a lot.
Hi Nick, I've just purchased a new GLE53 AMG. I was surprised it doesn’t have augmented reality. My previous car was a GLE450, and it did. Is there any reason for this?
Hey Remo, it depends on the specification so if you chat with Mercedes, they’ll let you know. I haven’t seen Augmented Reality on cars that I’ve reviewed for a couple of years now though. There are a couple that still do have it but they’re on S-Class etc.
Hi Nick, I was wondering is there a shortcut button on the steering wheel that I can quickly switch between "radio" and "media" and see it on the front screen? The only way I can do at this time is to use the steering wheel controls to control the main center screen. I'm new to Mercedes Benz, been driving BMWs for almost 20 years, BMW steering wheel has a "mode" button that can quickly switch between different media source. Thanks!
Thank you for this full passing through the mbux. I am new on Mercedes..a gle53amg and even I got friendly enough with the mbux..i did learned a lot of useful details and got all the answers . Great video. I watched all your other videos before i got the car.
Hi Nick. Again on wife's brand new A200, something doesn't quite add up. Not sure if this car has MBUX 6 or 7 but manual, and I think perhaps one of your videos mentions that to get driver's door only unlock on single remote 'unlock' press one needs to press lock + unlock together for about 6 seconds until red LED flashes. Alas this definitely does not work - tried it numerous times without success. To me the stated process seems too close to that for disarming the keyless go feature - which incidentally does work. Any ideas?
Hi edwardtucker9785, Sorry RUclips had for some reason put your comment as spam so I hadn't seen it! Defo don't think it is! Have you seen my key tips and tricks video? I t shows both ways on how to do it, the new way and the previous way: ruclips.net/video/mCL6Ifs77RM/видео.html
Hi Again Nick, Yes I did see your video and as our car is only a week old I assumed that the 'new way' was the one. This, I believe, is the method described in the owners manual. I've tried this numerous times and it does not work. As mentioned we always lock the car using the Keyless Go Disable technique which is not that dissimilar. I've also tried the old way for 'driver's door only unlock' as described in numerous RUclips posts. This also does not work. I've reported this to the selling dealer (Sandown Basingstoke) but have had no effective reply. Surprising as they have latest A200's in the showroom and probably all they need to do is use one of these to prove / disprove what i'm saying and find the solution as this must be a popular personal security option especially with female drivers.@@npoleary
Thanks Nick but alas this merely disarms Keyless Go on our car - a feature that we like but it does not give us Drivers Door Only on a single unlock. The timing of these button presses may hold the answer but we're unable to get this to work after multiple goes. Almost as if Keyless Go Disable is conflicted with drivers door only unlock - which we have got once by mistake when doing the Keyless Go routine. The latter is usually no problem and there's two ways to get this on our car (either hold lock and unlock together then quickly press unlock again OR hold lock then press unlock twice quickly while still holding lock). We wanted to be able to use both features together but now thinking about giving up ourselves and asking our local Mercedes service centre. As a complete aside the windscreen wiper 'service park' facility is also very fuzzy about button press timing.@@npoleary
Ah to do the driver’s door only unlock Just hold Unlock and lock together for about 6 seconds until the indicator lamp flashes twice 🤓 Just bear in mind if you have KEYLESS-GO so this being Keyless entry, when you test this you MUST move the key away. For example with driver’s door only unlock enabled, placing your hand for the second time behind the rear passenger door will unlock it. So either test it with two people either side of the car with one key or move the key away after unlocking the first door. Hope that makes sense!
Hello Nick et al, I have been struggling with Automatic Volume adjustment on NTG 7 MBUX with Burmeister in my 2023 GLC. (standard stereo system does have this option) There is no way to turn it off as the menu option simply does not exist. Local dealer could not help me at all and just confirmed the fact that other C class cars in the shop had the same issue. Is there a chance anyone has heard about a way of disabling the auto volume? Thank you.
Hey Sergii, I’ve not seen an option for this I presume it’s something that is always enabled and cannot be switched off. I’m guessing this is a feature to help with the speed of the car? So the faster you go, the more the volume increases etc
@@npoleary hello Nick. Thanks for replying. I have searched everywhere and yes, I believe it cannot be changed. But the experience is not really great, as the volume changes quite aggressively rather than smoothly. Will continue chasing my local dealer to follow up on the ticket that we have opened within Mercedes support.
Hi Nick. I have a 2023 EQE SUV (US Version). My question is about the commuter routing. On my 2021 GLE450 the commuter route would start and run with out any input. With this EQE it will just ocasionally throw a notice on the middle screen that the "home" route is available but you have to click start to turn on the route. When you do this it announces turns just like a normal route. I prefer the old way where it is silent but does show any delays on the route. Is there setting that I can change to make it behave this way? Thank you!
Sadly I’ve only seen a pre-production EQE SUV so not really had a complete hands on experience with it. I hope to in the future! It is a different multimedia so it could be different in the newer ones
Thanks Nick this is very useful. A couple of questions if I may? 1. In my profile I set the dynamic to Eco, but when I start the engine this reverts to comfort although Eco is still selected. I have selected the ask button which is ok as when I switch the engine on it asks if I want to drive in the same mode as last journey. I understand that this can be changed from the touch bar but is there a way that I can get it to follow the choice in my profile setting to save having to change it every time? 2. The elements in the driver display appear very limited compared to my previous GLC. I could select to change any of the three areas but I can’t seam to do this. I appear to only be able to change the centre display as I can’t seam to access either the right or left elements to chant the display. I am sure it must be possible but I can’t find it? Many thanks again.
Hey Steve, thank you! No sadly Comfort is how cars always start, you can change this afterward though as you said but they’ll always start in their default mode. For the displays, that’s because they’re completely different: ruclips.net/video/Ft318ejsnu0/видео.html I covered that in this video to let everyone know there is a difference between them. The new GLC has pre-set themes.
Whoops… it’s a shame I enjoyed being able to change each of the three columns and also the large digital speed. Let’s hope it all returns in the next update.
If you adjust the volume, when the pop up appears showing you the level, just tap the settings icon next to it and you can adjust all of the volume parts that Mercedes systems make.
Yeah it doesn’t matter where you bought your car from, take it to any dealer. Just take your V5 and proof of ID in and they’ll link it to your account. In the case of leasing you may not have a V5 so just take some form of proof of ownership in, email confirmation of the car, delivery note or something that proves you are the end user of the car.
Hi Nick, another question I have is when the car is parked while engine is still running. The odometer shows a warning " Vehicle ready to drive Shut down occurs when locked or automatically in certain minutes". Any way to disable this?
Hi Nick got a MBUX NTG7 and couldn’t find other POI,s menu to add the speed camera software that is in the usb stick, could you tell me where it is on this platform?
It’s on the Navi screen under Navi settings but it’s different depending on which car you have when I been in Mercedes cars. Usually around HOME PICTURE OF CAR SETTINGS VIEW POI SYMBOLS ON MAP Not all cars can do Personal Poi’s from what I’ve heard so double the compatibility on the SCDB website 🤓
Own a model with MBUX NTG 6?

Fantastic video Nick - thank you! Having just picked up a new GLC, your video run-through has been invaluable!
Ah awesome! Very nice! Thank you! 🤓
Thanks, great tutorial video and it helps me a lot !
Thank you so much! ☺️ glad it helped you!
Hi Nick, thanks for such a detailed video, I'm going to be new to Merc from BMW, I've learned loads that brochures and usual review vids don't show, so this has helped massively!
Ah awesome thank you! Glad you enjoy the videos! I’ll keep them coming where I can!
Just in time Nick. Just picked up a slightly used 2022 C300 with NTG 7. Thanks for the great content!
Thank you! 🙏🙏🤓
I just picked up my GLC 300 2024 yesterday. Your video is really helpful, the guys from the Mercedes did go through on how to use mbux ,but just in case I need more information I just watch your videos.
Awesome thank you! 🙏 glad you find it useful! 😎
Nick, Thank you. Very helpful with good tips. So much technology is overwhelming. Glad I found your videos.
Thank you! No worries! I’ll keep em coming!
37:46 “I’ll just play with myself for a minute” (blind people will be flabbergasted 🤯)
Thank you Nick..greetings from Istanbul😊
Hey! Thanks for Watching! 🙏🤓
Thanks for this very informative video. I just bought the fully loaded glc3002024 4matic late November 2023. I'll be using this video to educate myself more on my new baby.
Ah very nice! Glad you enjoy the video!
Nick is great. The videos are VERY well done and it is a pleasure watching them. Thanks for such a wonderful job with these videos. We get our GLCs (two of them) next week and our videos are a great help.
Awh thank you! All produced by me, I might do a behind the scenes video one day! 👀
It’ll be a long one! Haha
Oooo very nice!
A fabulous presentation Nick. Thanks.
Thank you! 🙏🙏
Great video very simple step by step tutorial explained well
Thank you! 🙏 🤓
I’ve made a couple of tips and tricks about range etc (especially with the cold weather this morning)
Plus I might have an EV outside for testing today…video coming in the next few weeks!
@@npoleary great! like to see🤗
Very informative video! Great job! Picking up our 2023 GLC300 SUV today. Will definitely use this video and your related videos to educate ourselves. Thank you!
Thank you! 🤓🙏🤓
Thank You so Much for this video. Extremely helpful
No worries! Glad you enjoyed it! 🤓
Wow! Thanks, Nick. Great one.
No worries! Thank you!
Great Video!!!!! Thanks Nick!
Thank you! 🤓👍🏼
Great work Nick... Keep it up. All your videos are very helpful for me, as I recently picked up a C300
Thank you! 🤓🙏
Thank you! 🤓👍🏼🤓
Really detailed and nice Video ! Greetings from Portugal Nick 🙂
Thank you! 🙏
Amazing work Nick. Your videos are very informative.
Thank you! Got some more Mercedes videos coming soon! 😎
Thanks Nick, incredibly useful!
Thank you! 🙏
Thank you, learned so much about my car
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching! 🙏
Great in depth video. Few Quick questions = where does the sat nav get its satellite connection from ie: hotspot data from your phone?
Thank you! All Mercedes get their GPS positioning from satellites 🤓
For the maps, depending on the car, they’ll either be on an SD card, or hard drive built into the car. Most new cars have an E-sim built into it too for data for maps updates etc
Great work Nick, simple and easy to understand you have a new subscriber.
Thank you very much! 🤓🤓🤓
Thanks for the great video! Great job! Thanks Nick!
Thank you! Glad you’re enjoying it!
Thanks Nick!!!
Great overview. Thanks a lot.
Excellent video as ever Nick and so informative too- thank you. Please can you tell me if its possible to remove the mobile and radio blocks at the bottom of the screen? I have a CLA and it would be nicer to have more screen showing.
Thank you! No sadly not seen a way to toggle those off. That would be good though!
@@npoleary Thank you Nick. Could I ask one more question, is there a way of setting a reminder on the screen to remind to 'start on board dashcam' when first starting the car?
No sadly not from what I’ve seen. I covered every feature and aspect of it at the start of the year when I reviewed the dashcam system as a whole.
Hi Nick,
The online music function works great. I connected my Apple Music account.
Ah awesome! I want to try it out soon!
Thanks for letting me know! 🤓
@@npoleary only a pleasure mate. Keep up the good work. It really helps allot 😁
This is the best video tutorial on youtube! Thank you!. Ive got some questions. Can you configure the quick access menu? (the vehicle icon on the touchbar). Is there a way to create a shortcut to easily access the ambient lighting menu? ( I love to change the colors all the time but is takes time to get there)
Thank you! 🙏
That would be good! I don’t believe you can sadly, it’s fixed.
Best thing to do would be to create a favourite on the favourites menu 🤓 (the star of the steering wheel)
Great video! I just picked up an EQE SUV, where is the setting to remove Mercedes’ response “how can I help you?”
Thank you! There isn’t a setting for that, but if you say “Hey Mercedes” then immediately say your command, it’ll skip it.
Or you could use the button on the steering wheel which would skip it anyway
Good as always Nick thanks😊
Thanks for watching! 🤓
Great Video Nick . Can you please share a similar video for GLA 2024 model . That also has NTG7 MBUX . Thank you
Thank you! I’m planning to! Might do one before the end of the year but it takes a while to make! 😅
Awesome video like always. Yes for a review of the new dash cam. I'm getting a 2024 C300 and I'm learning a lot from your videos 😄
Thank you! 🤓🙏🤓
A very interesting and informative video. I did not too badly with my Jaguar I pace and my Mercedes EQC lost 4,000 after 10 months. I am anticipating a big loss when I dispose of my BMW i4 M50 because I paid over list price when I bought it.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
What car are you thinking next?
@@npoleary I was hoping for an electric Mercedes C class size with a 0 to 60 time of around 5 seconds. I have recently traded a six year old A 45 for a 72 plate A35 and my wife has driven it for the first time today and told me she likes it a lot and thinks it is much nicer to drive than the old A45. Do you know where I can get a cable with a C plug to connect my Sony Walkman to the A35. Thanks Alan.
Ah yes I guess the closest thing that Mercedes offer is probably the EQE.
Oh yes well I have adapters that I’ve recommended on my channel, commonly in the description.
amzn.to/3kEchgr
Just bear in mind the only way a Walkman would work is if it can act like a memory stick, otherwise Mercedes multimedia systems won’t recognise. It might be called “Mass Storage” or something
@@npoleary Thank you, I have ordered the cables . The EQE is bigger than what I would prefer and the 53 is more than I want to spend. Alan.
Great video!
Thank you! 🤓🙏 glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Nick
I've watched literally all your vdos on the Mercedes and I absolutely love your presentations.
Very well done !!
Thank you! 🤓🙏
Very useful, thank you !
Thank you! 🙏
This is the best video of mbux 2.0..the online problem is that my c classe never received the ota update...
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Might be worth mentioning to a dealer when it’s in for service and they can check it out! 👍🏼
Cheers mate
Thank you! Yes it’ll work exactly the same way, the Personal POI menu is just in a different place 🤓
It’s top left of the Navi screen and then into settings in there
@@npoleary Thanks mate, you’re a champion. As soon as I plugged the USB in with the SCDB files, it worked.
For what it’s worth, many people on the Australian pages I follow on Facebook regularly refer to your RUclips videos when they post questions about their Merc’s because they’re excellent. Cheers mate!
@iana9382 ah awesome! Thank you! 🤓🙏
Thanks, Nick. i finally managed to get the access protection code turned off, watching the video again, although it took a bit of finding.
My next problem is to do with the tiles you talked about by touching and holding so you can move them, when i select my favourites radio station and move them to the front of the list, when i go back in the car and press the star button on steering wheel they are back at the end of the list, even though i am log my profile.,
Merc43
Mercedes warranty is valid in all Mercedes Showrooms across the UK 👍🏼
Although I did try the favourites thing in my own car just now and it doesn’t save the position. I don’t use it all though so it doesn’t really bother me personally. Maybe they might do a software update in the future or something?
@npoleary thanks again, Nick. Yes, I might just not bother right now. I will just ask Mercedes Me to change the radio stations👍👍👍
Hey great information video. Can you make a video on the new generation of MBUX 3rd generation. Thanks
I would love to! It’s on my too film list! Need to wait for my local dealer to get one in that’s in their showroom.
THANK YOU 🙏🏾
No worries! 🤓
Thank you!
I don’t believe so, there’s a system wide option but not individual for the profiles as far as I’ve seen
NTG is the generation of multimedia system so NTG 6 is the latest for the EQA as far as I’ve seen.
Thank you! I believe you can hold your finger on an icon to change it. Then select move or rename 🤓
Thank you SO much for your awesome content! I am picking up a brand new C300 this afternoon, and this is so helpful for me to get a head start!
Ah amazing! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Oooo very nice! 👌🏼
Thank you Nick! I believe I am in the same boat, I’ve clicked thru all the options, thank you for getting back to me!!
No worries!
Great vids Nick. Couple of quick questions on NTG7 on a new A200 with the landscape screens: can you turn off the greeting when you switch on please, and having changed the position of an item it won't retain it. keeps going back to default. Thanks
Yes you can! I’ve switched mine off 🤓
It’s in System Settings and under Audio if I recall, it was called greeting tone or something.
Hmmm that doesn’t sound quite right have you spoken to Mercedes about that last one?
Hi Nick again thanks for your work 👍👍
You can hide the squares right above the climate control by sliding it down, if you want a lager view.
I’m sure you could hold your finger on certain icons and it would do something 🤓
Most of the time though it just predicts what your going to do 👍🏼
Hello Nick. Love your videos. Very informative. Can you please do a walk through of the A250 AMG models 2016 and beyond. Thanks in advance.
Thanks!
If you’ve ordered a new C-Class then yeah it will defo have the latest generation of MBUX 🤓
Found in Sat Nav settings, in approx
HOME
NAVIGATION
WHERE TO?
SETTINGS
ROUTE
and one of the options in there
For number 2, Haha that’s a whole video in itself! Keeping it simple though, Waze offers community reporting for police, potholes and more. Plus Waze has a very aggressive traffic avoidance so if it a route will save you 30 secs, it’s probably going to take you that way! 😅
For number three covered this multiple times on my channel already
www.youtube.com/@npoleary/search?query=dashcam
Great Video- How do you reorder your Radio Favorites? Thank you
Hey Mike, can you hold your finger on one of them on the favourites menu. Not sure I tried that actually! 😅
@@npoleary it doesn't seem to work like the last version of mbux. It does seem to reorder them depending on use sometimes.
I actually just found another video that shows how to do it. There is a way to bring up a list view of the stations and you can move and delete them by clicking on the three dots.
Hi @nick. Great video….
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🙏
Then comes the generations of MBUX 👍🏼
MBUX NTG 6 (Gen 1)
MBUX NTG 7 (Gen 2)
MBUX NTG 7.5 / MBUX NTG 8 (Gen 3)
These are not software updates, they have new hardware because they’re installed on a new models with new features so software updates wouldn’t work in that scenario.
There’s no disabling, they’re physically new cars with new multimedia systems.
Hope that helps!
@@npoleary yes that’s make sense. Thanks 😃
Hi Nick I have just picked up my GLC 300DE Hybrid but I have noticed that my dash air vents do not light up with the ambient lighting is the same on all GLCs
Ah very nice! 👌🏼
Probably best to ask someone who works at Mercedes on that one they’ll be able to offer greater clarity 🤓
From what I know though, I do recall that they had ambient lights in the vents a while ago but from the sounds of it their specification may have changed (car manufacturers do this several times throughout the year). One of the reasons I don’t list what’s on packages in my videos as it could be out of date a few months later
@@npoleary Hi Nick thanks for clarifying that thought that it could a setting I was missing.
Hey Nick,
Thanks a ton for covering the infotainment pretty deep , Can you do one for the digital head lights as well please ?
Thank you! I’m working on it! Trying to gain access to a car at Mercedes so I can do it!
Apologies been such a long time, but Digital Light video coming soon over the next couple of weeks! I haven't forgotten! 👊🏼
Sneak Peak: It's incredible!
@@npoleary Thanks buddy! Looking forward to it
Hi Nick , videos great but just picked up my new GLA 200 Today and I cant get the "Hey mercedes" voice command to call people from my list. can you help please
Thank you!
The time of warning for the rear is always early thankfully! 🤓 so no you can’t change it from that
Thanks for another great video Nick.
Does it have some kind of screensaver mode so it looks less "techy" or even tge option for tge display to be off? With a tap to wake feature perhaps?
No sadly not seen a screensaver before but you can toggle the display off with the power button. This doesn’t turn it completely off, as you can still access A/C controls etc
Hello Nick, I have a 2024 CLE and I keep setting the automatic mirrors to fold in but it keeps turning off, do you know why?
Are you logged into a profile with your name on the screen when you get in? If you’re using Guest then it won’t save any settings
Ah nice! If you head to the favourites menu (the one with the star) you can hold an icon to rename it
Great video👍🏻
Is there a way to change music tracks from the steering wheel? Or fast forward/rewind podcasts for example. I can’t find a dedicated button for that.
When I use navigation for example there is no button on the steering wheel that does music track change. So strange
Thank you!
I made a video about that on my channel: ruclips.net/video/maLBpVNBpjM/видео.htmlsi=jTxFZi76g1R-k-WW
Hi Nick, how to remove the daily greeting with my name in the morning ? Thx and great video saved my a lot of research time ❤
Ah I made a video on that earlier in the year!

Glad you enjoyed this one
Nick, great video as ever. Just got a new GLC, connected a new USB C card reader, and it's not registered on the car?
Sadly I read in the manual USB hubs aren’t compatible with Mercedes multimedia systems
:( so don’t believe they’ll be a workaround
What were you trying to plug in?
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hi Nick, nice view! Is there an option for satellite view on the driver cluster screen? if so does it come up like google earth (like the main screen)? thanks
Hey carlmason8033, I believe so I’m sure I’ve seen that on there before!
How do you get the radio to display the track name.? The mbux in the CLA shows the track but not the vertical screen in the GLC. ?
Sadly not been in one and used Radio for a long time, need to visit my local dealer again 😅
Is it not this: share.icloud.com/photos/0a5jPklGJMzCwZ5ef1mFkzDFw
I thought it was called Radio Text Information or something similar
@@npoleary that option doesn’t appear on the GLC.. perhaps you can’t display radio text information in the new MBUX.!
Ah nice that’s a good idea!
There’s a setting called Driving Recommendations during phone call, what multimedia system do you have? Or what year and model of Mercedes?
Hii, I have a problem on a 23 s400d where the automatic mirror fold-in keep turning off, even tho I turn it on, every time when I start the car it turns off. I don't have mercedes me profile set up cause im the only driver
Ah you need the car linked to your account otherwise you’ll be signing into the guest profile all the time so it might not be remembering your settings. Guest profiles are normally just for temporary use.
Hi Nick, how do you change station in background for NTG 7. Thanks!
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen 🤓 then you can change tracks
Or Say “next track”
@@npoleary Thanks, Nick! It works when I say "next rack" but swipe up from bottom of the screen doesn't seem to work, the only way I can do is to use the "last track" or "next track" icon next to the "home" icon.
@jeffreychen5241 oh right if you have a model with the portrait screen there’s already a next track button there so you can’t swipe up in addition to the buttons that’s already there
Saying “Next Track” is by far the easiest! 🤓
Got an eqe suv Friday. There are a couple weird things. Text messages by default are linked to notification center. This plays a very loud alert that can't find volume control of. Toggling off the 'add to notification center" setting is not remembered across drives. Any ideas?
Most settings from what I’ve seen when reviewing Mercedes don’t copy across drivers, each driver has their own settings
Sadly not seen an EQE SUV properly yet, I had a glimpse of one at the start of the year but not had hands on one yet.
Ah I see that’ll do it, iPhones are a little different but sounds like you managed to do it! Thanks for sharing!
@nick does mbux navigation show the lanes while navigating like what google does? Do we need update the map manually on regular basis?
It’ll show you some lane guidance from what I’ve seen when exiting a motorway but I don’t believe it does for town driving.
Maps are updated as long as you have a valid subscription and it’s linked to your Mercedes account
Need help please, can't seem to find way to change temperature on 2024 mercedes CLA from farenheit to celsius
You can’t sadly, I’ve not seen a way to change that.
However when I’ve been to the USA before, I have seen the units in Fahrenheit there so I guess it must be set at factory or something.
@npoleary you would think that, but my last four cars 2010-2019 audi and mercedes I could convert all units km, 24hrs and temperature, a bit odd for a 2024 maybe they will allow it on an update , thank you for the reply.
hey i need help
why my fan lights its not working in my mercedes c class 2024 ? do you have any idea please
Sadly not all Mercedes have ambient lighting in the vents, I believe it’s just A-Class, B-Class, CLA & GLA.
This might be different round the world though so if you think that something isn’t right get in contact with your local Mercedes, they’ll be able to help! 🤓
Hi Nick, I was wondering why I can't control the ventilation speed on the passenger side for my glc, like the wheel is spit into 2 instead of 4 now...
Ah okay, I seem to remember that if you have it in the cradle, performing a multimedia system reset would reset the paring to it as well 🤓
@@npoleary after a long drive this am and me messing with it the tablet has now linked up.
Hi Nick, I’ve got the new C Class but don’t have Zero Layer? Any ideas how I could enable it please?
If you hold the home button in the middle of the screen you can toggle between the two 🤓
Hi Nick, I was wondering is there a shortcut button on the steering wheel that I can quickly switch between "radio" and "media" and see it on the front screen? The only way I can do at this time is to use the steering wheel controls to control the main center screen. I'm new to Mercedes Benz, been driving BMWs for almost 20 years, BMW steering wheel has a "mode" button that can quickly switch between different media source. Thanks!
No sadly not, it’s all controlled on the centre screen from what I’ve seen
@@npoleary Thanks, Nick!
No worries! 🤓
Thank you for this full passing through the mbux. I am new on Mercedes..a gle53amg and even I got friendly enough with the mbux..i did learned a lot of useful details and got all the answers .
Great video. I watched all your other videos before i got the car.
Glad you enjoyed it thank you! 🙏
Any ideas?
Hi edwardtucker9785,
Sorry RUclips had for some reason put your comment as spam so I hadn't seen it! Defo don't think it is!
Have you seen my key tips and tricks video? I t shows both ways on how to do it, the new way and the previous way: ruclips.net/video/mCL6Ifs77RM/видео.html
Hi Again Nick,
Yes I did see your video and as our car is only a week old I assumed that the 'new way' was the one.
Yes it’ll be the new way if it’s a new car 🤓
Just press and hold lock and very quickly double press unlock. It should work
Thanks Nick but alas this merely disarms Keyless Go on our car - a feature that we like but it does not give us Drivers Door Only on a single unlock.
Ah to do the driver’s door only unlock
Just hold Unlock and lock together for about 6 seconds until the indicator lamp flashes twice 🤓
Just bear in mind if you have KEYLESS-GO so this being Keyless entry, when you test this you MUST move the key away.
For example with driver’s door only unlock enabled, placing your hand for the second time behind the rear passenger door will unlock it. So either test it with two people either side of the car with one key or move the key away after unlocking the first door. Hope that makes sense!
Is there a way to add traffic light, i had it on my other GLE but it doesnt seem to be on my GLE coupe
It depends if the car has Augmented Reality I believe. If you have it then it’ll be listed on the menus 🤓
@@npoleary thank you, I have Augmented Reality so I think I will need to call the dealership
Thank you.
Hey Sergii, I’ve not seen an option for this
I presume it’s something that is always enabled and cannot be switched off.
For the displays, that’s because they’re completely different:
ruclips.net/video/Ft318ejsnu0/видео.html
I covered that in this video to let everyone know there is a difference between them. The new GLC has pre-set themes.
@@npoleary thank Nick.. it’s a shame I loved being able to change all three colom
Whoops… it’s a shame I enjoyed being able to change each of the three columns and also the large digital speed. Let’s hope it all returns in the next update.
The voice in my Mbux 7 Sat Navi in my new c300e cannot be turned down very much, it turns itself up again
If you adjust the volume, when the pop up appears showing you the level, just tap the settings icon next to it and you can adjust all of the volume parts that Mercedes systems make.
I am getting an EQB next month on lease but from a different company, can I still go to mercedes and set this up for my profile or not? Many thanks.
@@npoleary Thank you Nick, I'll make sure to take all paperwork and ID with me to the dealership. 🙌🏻
Hi Nick, another question I have is when the car is parked while engine is still running. The odometer shows a warning " Vehicle ready to drive Shut down occurs when locked or automatically in certain minutes". Any way to disable this?
Yeah on the multimedia system just tap the message that appears at the top of the central screen and it’ll stay on instead of turning off
@@npoleary Thanks! I’ll try that when I see the message next time
Hi Nick. Is there a way to turn off the radio so it doesn't come on when you start the car and the screen stays blank? TIA.
Only if you turn the screen off before leaving the car, it’ll resume basically where you left off (same volume and last menu etc)
You're a star! @@npoleary
Usually around

POI SYMBOLS ON MAP
Not all cars can do Personal Poi’s from what I’ve heard so double the compatibility on the SCDB website 🤓
