Most busted build in the game. Godmode mage with no equal. Dmg numbers you see are with one one ring since i forgot to equip one for the final 10h of the game. Break the dmg cap multiple times, hitting for 12-14k. No idea how that one happened.
The only thing I would add in as my build is fairly similar is Lucanis instead of Harding, he has an overpowered trinket which subtracts resistances and defense (resistances can go negative) by 10% per affliction the target has. This means that you can consistently damage bosses that resist your damage type. As for the second ring, you can technically apply a *3rd* ring with last resort by equipping last resort, attacking enemies to snapshot that buff and then between fights removing last resort which doesn't remove the buff it gets and replacing it with something else (the +30% ability damage is decent as well). As s are our main source of defense we can easily not choose to dodge or shield and keeping that buff through fights.
electric veil archer with taash and belara kills entire map in 5 seconds on nightmare. give taash burning on skill use and all your electric spells do crit dmg automatically. all gear you use is extra lightning dmg, focal blade for weapon and the same equivalent dagger as you use here for the defenses. taash veilguard armor to detonate multiple enemies at once + belara tear + your aoe lightning ability = gg wp. I killed the final boss in a few minutes in nightmare, all other bosses except dragon immune to lightning was easy. for lighting resist use aoe necrotic skill and belara weapon that add electro vulnerability. oh and every headshot does like 3/4 healthbar to any high level mob or straight up one shots them
Breaking the 4 digit damage display cap is easy & intended. It's a single player game where the devs wanted you feel powerful, That's part of the reason the enemies are so aggressive & why your companions can't die. You can reach damage cap with all 9 specializations (the only difference is preference, as there's a spec/playstyle for everyone). Its refreshing to play a game where devs allow you to power fantasize as much as you want.
For the Graven Opal ring, the weakpoint damage should work but unless I'm mistaken anything saying Ranged Damage only affect the mages aimed beam. In the same manner that Ranged Damage only scales the damage of the Bow attacks for a Rogue. Really only going to be hitting weakpoints on a staggered Dragons heart.
For those who are unable to retrieve a ring from the chest hidden in the tree, please return to the location where you defeated the boss that gives the sphere. Upon defeating this boss, the good fairy and her two assistants will be waiting there to revive some of the minions (which are necessary for the counter) for you. Enjoy your experience!
Slight correction. The helmet bonus crit damage isnt based on the strength number, but rather the number of stars you have. At max rank of 3 stars, the helm only gives 50% crit damage bonus. You can test it out by equipping the helm and looking at your stat page. With an excellent rank of 3 stars, it gives me 50% (20% from the helm, and 10%x3 from shadow dragon rep).
I think I missed the first drop of the Garb of Kinship at the Siege of Weisshaupt quest. Is there a way to go back to that location? And if not, would you still use it on purple? I feel like you need the gold for the healing because of the Maw of the Black City right? Or can you reccomend something instead?

If one is using say the dagger and the orb for active damage, does the stats on the staff not matter ? Or does it only matter when your holding the staff actively? Is it a flat stat stick on whatever weapon is NOT being used? Unless of course it specifically says " with this weapon" example " kills with this weapon"
It does not if you are not using it. Its specifically for when you are fighting f.e. a fire dragon or antaam and want extra mitigation for when you build is not complete. Otherwise, never switch of the orb+dagger.
If this build already generates this much heal - there is one unique staff that switch abilities to consume health instead of mana. So with it you can change mana sustain items with more health sustain items or defensive items and become even more sturdy
Chest under tree early? More or less. If you got bug that prevents interaction with these chests, statues and some doors - you will have to wait until after Weisshaupt.
