I built my character in a similar way but I actually put on the unique offhand that gives you permanent Necrotic weapons, just for the advantage buff. Didnt watch through the entire video tho, perhaps you get that buff through other means.
@@DragonJackZ It slaps Vs undead, you can literally just hipfire everything for absurd damage. I just like to focus more on electric damage and shocked to improve my DPS rather than getting Necrotic damage and improve my burst even more, that's my personal preference. It's terrible vs Darkspawn though and they're very common, you can work with other Advantages more.
@@Vizieroframbling I have absolutely no idea. I think I bought one in the crossroads but it's been a while, maybe Minrathous shops also have one? Pretty sure Black Emporium does too.
@Vizieroframbling *SPOILERS* I saved Minrathous but it shouldn't change gear at all. You can buy gear from the city you didn't save in the Crossroads, the place where you have your first fight ever in the Crossroads.
I am currently playing Rogue in Nightmare. I have a similar set up to your other video, affliction stacking. Any ideas on how to make Duelist work on Nightmare? There are so many darkspawn enemies that resist necrotic, it becomes a slog to get through them.
@@marquislewis7776 There's two ways of dealing with that. The first one is using Attack my Target with Emmrich, I think Lucanis has it too, to inflict Vulnerability to Necrotic every time, the second one is actually not focusing on Necrotic damage alone and speccing towards Bleeding and Shocked with Salt in the Wound and the Treviso weapon that inflicts Bleed on each hit and gives you +6 stacks of bleeding. You'll easily have 3 different afflictions, one of them dealing massive damage, and it downright breaks the game. A Thousand Cuts is just good to use together with Lightning Flask to have a long period of invincibility. Duelist is there just to give you survivability honestly, any damage it gives it's just cherry on top but against Darkspawn you won't get a lot of that.
Great video! Makes me want to consider playing this instead of the champion build that I'm also having lots of fun with. Any tips for aiming with the bow? Maybe I'm just not used to using a controller for this stuff but my aim sucks haha.
@@Vizieroframbling Really glad you enjoyed this as well! My aim is also terrible I just kinda had to learn with multiple hours of playing with the bow. I've tried locking onto enemies and then flicking upwards but after a while I developed some kind of crosshair placement instinct that always was at head level so that I just had to aim left or right, for everything else Hunter's Focus is your friend and ranged gameplay is kinda designed around it. Also know that Evasive Maneuvers shot auto aim and curve, that's why I was hitting sick dodge headshots, you just gotta aim above the enemy and it's always a headshot.
@@akontistes6951 whatcha gonna do next? I'm sorta interested in the evoker builds you mentioned on your last video. I can sorta figure it out but you mentioned 2 varieties. How do you deal with the cold immune enemies?
@@Vizieroframbling Forgot to answer this, I'm cooking a Champion Build that breaks the game completely, I mentioned it already to you but I've since delved into it far deeper and I'm onto something pretty insane.
@@akontistes6951 Looking forward to it! I like champion a lot but my build around level 20 or so feels a lot slower than my rogue or how I assume mage feels.
What’s the best way to deal with shield-bearing enemies, they pretty much block all shots, charged or not. Short of charged heavy melee I don’t really have a good answer to breaking their guard
@@Rhunzzz There is a spot where you can get a weakpoint through their guard most of the times. If there isn't your abilities should put them off their guard and you can slow time to line up the headshot. Companions abilities work too.
Your build makes more sense in diablo 4 but not in an action adventure game, my lvl 35 veil jumper does more damage than yours and clears arena faster because it’s focused on quick attacks and damage types instead of slow abilities
