Jordan's squawking was partisan smokescreen, betting on the court of public opinion to win out over the court of law.
The guy who worked for Trump for a decade, on his way to prison for some very relevant crimes, obviously has a lot of information we deserve to hear. Busting and flipping these guys is exactly how big conspiracies get taken down. This is no joke.

The house does not have a report from Mueller's concluded investigation and they only have what little information Devin Nunes failed to suppress when he was running the imvestigation. With people wanting to actually investigate now in power, this is part of a parallel process to gather information (fortunately for our bemefit, publicly here) and start to build a case among constituents.
The GOP held 40 something such hearings on Benghazi. Pretending that an investigation of Trump's multiple obvious crimes is unwarranted is absurd.
And on impeachment, it would have been done already if the senate GOP had an ounce of shame for their hypocrisy. Putting party aside, Trump is a committing crimes in broad daylight. Anyone paying attention to fact based journalism cannot deny that. But until enough information flows to the public for GOP supporters to force a change in position, pushing impeachment is premature. Unfortunately entertainment media like Fox News, wholly owned and driven by wealthy oligarchs, essentially removes a group of our country from the conversation with a relentless campaign of spin and blatant misinformation.
