Amateur VS Olympic Level BMX track

- This track is located in Rockhill, South Carolina which was the first Olympic level BMX Supercross on the east coast of North America. 2024 they will hold the BMX World Championships. The last race before riders are selected to attend the 2024 Olympic Games!

I started BMX at 49, this track is so scary for a new guy, but man is it nice.

I started when I was 11 in the early 80s, but quit when I got a car and girlfriend. Now I want to go back, but crashing now might be a problem. Back then I was invincible! 😁

I started as a kid when I was 9 ish and rode for like 2 years then I took a long break and I recently this year got a bike and been riding once in a while I’m turning 20 this year
Had a BMX as a kid in the 80's but never got to race. Started racing in my 40s when the kids were young.
Now they've moved on to MTB DH and I'm still at it....
BMX is one of those sports that makes me feel young and very old at the same time 😂
That berm jump is gnarly. 🧠 💥

I would have destroyed my rear wheel on that berm jump and ate it! We didn't have jumps like that back in the 80's! Jumping our monster step down that had a crap landing was bad enough. 😂

I once sat on the gate at the 8mtr hill at the indoor BMX SX track in Manchester. I was almost tempted to send it but my self-preservation gene kicked in 😬😳

The 5m start hill at one of my local tracks looks scary to me. Can't imagine what the 8m one on the pro course must look like from the top. Because I don't think the camera is doing it justice.
