Hey from Az..(hot and dry here as well.)Gold cube, dream mat, fossickers blue riffle-less sluice or at the very least just some conveyor belt( also known as vortex matting). The losses reported are just too big to not fix asap, I am sure that you have done something by now ... Please share a bit more, updates..etc. Thank you and hope you are having a blast down there!
Trev's Bush and Gold Adventures G'day Trev, generally the answer is yes. Even with this machine there are very small amounts of gold still attached to quartz. For this reason all tailings are concentrated then put through a ball mill to get anything that was missed. Some ores only have very small amounts of micron gold which makes secondary processing unnecessary.
jdeluisa the dry washer works really good for nuggety gold, but the efficiency drops of dramatically on fine gold. It misses about 50% of the fines from what I've tested. Even a recirculating sluice was missing a lot, I reprocessed 1 ton of tailings from my recirculating sluice and recovered almost another 2 oz with the Knudsen . I got 7 oz when first processing so the keene concentrator sluice was missing about 1/4 of the gold!
Don't know if they make a smaller Knudsen, but flexicone has a 100, 110, & 170 that are small enough to carry & use remotely ( & they're in Australia)... best of luck & Stay Safe
Have you considered perhaps standing upwind and avoiding the inevitable silicosis?...i enjoy your informative and thorough vids
Likely get another 1/2 gram if you panned your bath water every night. Great vid, thanks.
Good stuff nice n simple
hey thanks 4 the 5 golden rules....my detectors came in today....! great vid...quiet little crusher you got..nice cheers james from idaho.usa
wasn't that blower too strong it looked like it blew away all sand
Hay DD,
Another great clip mate. Doing well with the claim by the looks of it.
Cheers
Mick
It would be very interesting to see a video on how you zero in on a gold bearing stringer with the SDC.
please stay upwind of this dust and wear a better dust mask this dust is a killer in your lungs.
great video and all the best to you.

Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing!
Congratulations on your find and many thanks for your time, this is a great video for information, cheers Russell.
I saw the Armstrong Industries gold rock breaker on Demo in Kalgoorlie, a very impressive and capable machine.
Hey Trent, Jaqui & Jaffa ... OOoooooo!!! It's lookin' VERY promising!! (No barking from Jaffa, so Missy didn't go nuts this time) Cheers to all :-)
so which one do you prefer, the dry type or the wet one?
Another great video guys, glad to hear you finally got your crushing started and great to hear you are doing well from it.
That's fascinating stuff. Is it the case that the finer you can crush the rock the better the yield in the final cleanup?..Trev

Diggerdude29 Thanks for that explanation.Very interesting.Look forward to your next video.Cheerio,Trev.
Do you have to own a claim to be able to use this machinery in australia
Enjoy your videos. How does that drywasher do at recovery? I noticed you have a Knudsen bowl? How much more efficient is wet recovery?

I am surprised the Knudsen is so much more efficient than the concentrator sluice
M5 wave table would keep up with that impact mill and get your fine gold. They're portable.
Gold Hog mats are worth a look too.

Is this crusher still going strong? Any issues?
PaddyWackem Still working well
How much is that machine n is it running on fuel or electric plz gv details tnkx
You can save some yellow by not smoking
Will silicosis or tobacco get him first ! And the mask sitting in the side lol! Good video though
Jim Murphy Cant smoke my cigarette with a mask on! haha
Dont the blower blow away the gold
Very interesting. Ty
all that dust cant be very good 4 that air cleaner of that gas engine.
No Mask!!! Really?
