That lady gets on my nerves, being fat doesn’t mean if you’re pretty or ugly, it means being healthy or not
Because of her arrogant, non caring suck up attitude, she is one step away from a heart attack or stroke or dead
She also is a charge to all of us because she dosnt work
@Simply Outspoken , duh, I know that.

@UC3-WPsNQXWY7YSKHTrvznxg , yeah, her nonchalant don't care so what attitude didn't end her anywhere but dead. Her attitude sucked to high Heaven. I'm 305 pounds, being obese is not fun, it's a miserable life. I know because one time I went to Walmart with my sister and there was staring and whispering behind my back. My sister told me about it. Obesity is no life to live
I'm overweight myself, and all for "body positivity". Where I'd draw the line is being unable to walk, put on my own shoes, or get in and out of bed on my own. By all means feel good about how you look, but surely being able to perform the basic functions of a human being comes first.

The moment I can't wipe my butt, I'm starting to worry.
Do as you want but don't be surprised that men are disgusted when they look at you.

I am Greek. I am a mother of 2 girls. I cook every day for my family as healthily as I can. All our menu has fruits, salads and vegetables. My husband and I are trying to teach our children to eat right. Only in this way they will have a good quality of life. Everyone likes fast food, but we also have to take care of our health. The meals served to children at school are unacceptable. They are taught from a young age to eat the wrong foods.

I am learning to cook right now. I am 34 years old and have never been taught any of this. I wish someone did, could have saved me alot of time doing nonsense diets that only lead to gaining it all back. All it really needed was to remove ultra processed foods, go back to basics with fruit, vegetables and a few quality animal products every now and then, along with the will to learn how to turn this into an enjoyable meal.
It s a toxic environment out there, hope the will bann processed food...

Tiffany’s son is adorable. Just listening to him, and watching him as he contemplates his situation…he’s going to grow up to be a good man. This was four years ago. Hope there’s an update on all of them. Hope they’re all doing well.
That was 20 years ago. He's such a nice boy. He's intelligent, a very nice personality, a good son and a good-looking boy. I would love to find out how they are all doing 20 years later.
I looked it up and Tiffany is 157 pounds! Very happy for her!
I found this absolutely horrific to watch. It was like passing the scene of a devastating accident and not wanting to see dead people but not being able to look away either. My background is in psychiatry, but I don't think I have ever seen so much denial in my life. For Diane to think that her weight should just be accepted is nonsense. She must have had severe medical issues. But she just didn't see it as a problem. I think she had given up. The fellow doing competitive eating and being proud of it has just admitted he has no meaning in life apart from eating. Only Tiffany had any motivation to get to a normal weight and I hope she has been successful. But what a tragedy for everyone else.
The first step in beating addiction is accountability. 90% of addiction is psychological. As soon as I figured that out, I didn't just beat addiction...I kicked its ass.
This is exactly what I was thinking. As a nursing student I can’t fathom how easily she justifies her weight problem! She must be in excruciating pain, have diabetes, hypertension, etc. Not to mention the fact that she relies on a motorized wheelchair to get around, that alone should be a wake up call.
I’m a paralyzed person that means I can’t walk. If all I had to do was to lose weight so I can walk again, I would.
I think youre pretty
Your comment made me cry...blessings to you Keri.
Good on ya 👍🏾
"If all I had to do was lose weight.." is a statement that negates obesity as an actual disorder. People don't understand that the reasons for being obese are medical ones. If it was so easy to lose weight, obesity would not be a big issue. People are obese for various reasons but it's rarely because they wake up and decide to be 600 lbs. Usually there are deep seeded psychological issues or food addiction or an eating disorder at play. People just assume that all fat people can just change like it is so easy but when you are so obese your body and hormones change making it very difficult to overcome and many would rather just live with it than keep fighting.

@@davidvance6367 -- Talk about a self-imposed death sentence.
I used to work for the police here In Australia and I dealt with all of the autopsy reports when there had been a sudden death, which was known as an 83. The thing that stayed with me the most is the pathologist’s description of the deceased before beginning the post mortem. They would describe the appearance of the body ie well nourished female, underweight male, etc. I never want to be (just in case I die unexpectedly) the obese female! It has bothered me enough for years, just that description of a body and apart from gaining 20kg while on cortisone, I have never been overweight in my life. I managed to lose that by myself. Never again, I hated being overweight, it felt awful!!
I observed a bunch of autopsies. When I was 16 I volunteered at our small community hospital. They got to know me very well bc I planned to go to med school. I was allowed to observe some autopsies on my own time.
Two were memorable. One guy came in on a plane from an overseas flight and collapsed. He was brought to the ER where he died. There was concern that he had some infectious disease (because of where he had flown in from.)
The next was a morbidly obese woman. She was only in her late 30’s when she came in to the ER in full arrest. I got to watch her autopsy. It was the most visually disturbing thing I had ever seen.
The pathologist was forced to change his gloves multiple times bc her body fat made his gloves so greasy. There was real concern that he might cut himself with an knife because everything was greasy from adipose. It was nasty.
If you want to know what this is like, there is a similar full autopsy on RUclips of an obese female. They don’t blur the images like on “Dr. G.” (Why bother filming then?) This is the real deal. Just search for “Autopsy On An Obese Woman: Obesity Post-Mortem.” (I would post the link but I learned that RUclips deletes posts containing links.)
This video will open your eyes. Excess fat will destroy your internal organs. In the case of the autopsy I was present at, her liver was inundated with adipose. She had nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Such a shitty way to die!
Warning: The video is really gross. I think of the autopsy I saw every time someone goes on a rant after their PCP urges them to lose weight. No - it’s not fat shaming - it’s saving your life. That’s like complaining when your PCP tells you to quit smoking. No, knucklehead, she’s not picking on you. We’re trying to keep you from dying of emphysema or COPD - another really shitty way to die.
@@ailleananaithnid2566 I have seen the same. We used to describe it as like the custard in a vanilla slice (if you know what that is). That greasy yellowy fat layer. I mean, we all have some fat. But I used to pity any pathologist who had to deal with their bodies
I felt second hand shame on their behalf! Imagine being described and having some poor person have to deal with the enormous amount of fat! Just disgusting!!
It is really hard to maintain your weight when you retire from a physical job. My weight was so easy to maintain as a nurse on a really busy ward & then in memory support aged care, but once I finished up I was really surprised by how quickly I started to gain weight simply because my activity level dropped. I imagine being a police officer is the same if you go from a busy cop making sure dumb bogans are behaving to a more sedentary life.
why did you say "overweight female" and not "overweight male"? A bit of a double standard.
I'm sorry but there is no way diane was truly as happy as she claimed. I have been morbidly obese. I wasn't even a third of her size, nor was I immobile, but the psychological damage of my relationship with food and the sheer amount of insecurity, lethargy, and mental health issues you live in when you're obese is undeniable. All this food she ate, this heavily processed non-nutritious food, has been scientifially proven to be linked with depression. That's not even delving into the anxiety and contant avoidance of any form of exercise and all the physical limitations you have. Anybody who has successfully lost weight knows that they don't realise how bad it is mentally until they are not there anymore and can look back on it. Diane never really experienced anything that keeps you mentally health - exercise, whole foods, sunlight, good sleep, good relationships etc. I find it hard to believe that she ever truly knew what it was like to feel good and happy.
That my friend is called denial and delusion.
To be banned from an all you can eat restaurant? That should be a wake up call right there ...

Then I moved to Texas and I’m one of the smallest people around me. The thing that shocks me the most is the fat children. In Germany, you almost NEVER see a fat child, and if you do it’s an American tourists kid. But here in Texas, so many kids, especially the boys are so big. It hurts my heart seeing them, knowing their parents are setting them up for a life of struggle and health issues.

“there’s a history of obesity in my family”
they need to stop using that as an excuse and lose weight.
GageyyBoyy There's a history of heart disease in mine but I stay in the gym
GageyyBoyy Family history in health is often given exaggerated importance. Most health problems, like weight, cancer, etc. are behavior/environmental, not genetic, but people tend not to ignore this, maybe out of fear or guilt. The hardest problems to face are self-inflicted. I work in medicine, and one time a patient with severe COPD, from smoking, was extremely tearful about their diagnosis and hospitalization. The next day, they were upbeat, and mentioned that they remembered that in their early 20s they worked in a factory with strong smells, and THAT must of damaged their lungs (not the subsequent 40 years of hard smoking).
There's a genetic disposition to gain weight faster and have heart and health complications, but yeah it's not excuse. It should be a motivator.
GageyyBoyy not everyone can lose weight like others. Maybe try to understand that we aren't the same, many have hipper active thyroid that is a big problem for people to lose weight. Many didn't have a good childhood and made thire addiction to food. It's not easy to give up just like a alcoholic or a drug addiction.

I'm female, in the UK, aged 58, 5'1 tall and about 17 stone, which is nothing compared to the people in the video but I've been crippled with Rheumatoid arthritis all over me from top to toe since I was 29, although a nurse told me she thinks I've had it since I was in my teens. When I was 34 I was physically assaulted at home and also by a customer at work so ended up with a permanently damaged bad back. I have Type 2 Diabetes. I'm vegan, never smoke or do any other drugs, only drink booze once monthly but I can't exercise because of never-ending extreme pain. I have grip problems, etc. etc. Menopause hit me at 42 which puts weight on. I'm working full-time Monday-Saturday and every 2nd Sunday. The amount of times I've been barked at BY COMPLETE STRANGERS who know nothing about me to ''just lose weight'' and ''cut out the chips'' and so on is ridiculous. I get ferociously glared at when I go to cafe's/restaurants even though I only eat vegan, or if vegan isn't available, vegetarian, and small portions, not big ones. The cruel insults, being turned down for jobs I know for sure I can do with my disabilities and so on. And there's those like Diane...and I don't mean to speak ill of the deceased... who basically gloat about being so obese because of their food obsession!
I'm 55 and live in the United States, also riddled with severe arthritis in my back/legs from a horrible car accident. I'm 5'1" and weigh 132. I swim for exercise twice a week through physical therapy and it isn't painful. It's a huge pool and the water is warm enough that it doesn't hurt to get in, it's close to bath water temperature. Maybe that's something you could do through a doctor's orders?
When I was in high school the only place where there were vending machines were in the Teachers lounge which was off limits to students.
You are correct, I forgot about that, giving kids access to food that kills.
Same for me in my country in Europe vending machine are prohibited in schools.

She’s probably barely getting any oxygen to her brain 😭
Nobody loses weight JUST to lose weight. They lose weight for a reason. Whether it’s vanity, health, fitting in, trying to have an easier time finding clothes, etc, they have a reason. Nobody does hard work for no reason. She seems to think people try to lose weight for no reason

I'm from Houston. We are NO LONGER the fattest city in America! This video was made in the early 2000s. A lot of these restaurants no longer exist (even before COVID). There are still a lot of overweight people here, but it has gotten better. Houston is EXTREMELY spread out; from one side of the city to the other is over an hour (without traffic). And if it's 90 degrees NOW, you can just imagine what our summers are like!
I come from an Italian family that has big spreads for the holidays and food is a part of everyday life. But as we all got older and realized how bad being obese is for you we cut down. Just moderitly exercise smaller portions. You can eat what ever you want. Moderation is the key folks. I loved living in Houston. CHOW.
Dianne is so defensive about her weight because she knows she's lying to everyone - especially herself.
She claims she's beautiful while we all can see she has to shave her face daily - a common problem with the obese is whacked out hormones.
Well said
Dianne spends an extensive amount of time defending her position/situation. Okay fine, we all have rights. But what if we (the community) forced her to become fully independent. That is take away the personal care giver, remove the food delivery service, remove the oxygen supply, etc. She would expire in 24-48 hours.
Typical American she is aye?
RIP Dianne. She died from diabetes last month. You can only fight the reaper for so long, but he always comes to collect what he's due
There's a fine line between body-positivity and passively condoning an addict's delusion that it's ok to continue abusing food.
pretty sure it's a really fat line
Rob S, I don't like fat people
David Vance, that’s rude u cant say u don’t like someone cuz off their size yes some can be pretty big but doesn’t mean they are a bad person
an ironically thin line.
You nailed it!
What I don't get is all the really overweight medical workers, it looks as bad as them smoking. They tell you to be healthy and they weigh 300 pounds 😂
I moved to Houston from Florida 5 months ago, I quickly gained 10 pounds and I’m a healthy person. Portion size and they eat a lot of starch, lots of Mexican food. I lost it though and learned to eat at home most of the time.
Diane thinks she dresses well? LMAO. I realize clothing styles are limited at 600 pounds but she looks like she is wearing my grandmother's couch. Except the couch was smaller. That's practically a circus tent.
She's the size of my room's furnishing put toghether 😂 still weighs more than it
She is entitled. It is terrible
My brother sister and me together are 30% less than her
😂😂😂
@Default User I mean, nice casual racism I guess. Aside from that, PAWGs are generally slim thick. They have a fat ass because their waist is small in comparison. Thats kinda.. the point of the word. It's speaking to an extreme hourglass or pear shaped figure, not an obese one
She is barely breathing, can’t walk or take a shower not mentioning about a bath and she still claims that there is nothing wrong about her weight.
Lies sweet little lies 🤦🏼♀️
Fat denial is a fatal thing
Ain’t nothing little about that landwhale including her lies...
It's called being in denial
She's so in denial. So typical.
They are the ones dying from Covid. The excess fat presses against their respiratory system causing the breathing issues that kill them when they get colds and flus like Covid.
I was in houston and what amazed me is the sheer amount of restaurants.
I'm a born & raised Texan. I have struggled with weight since I was 6 yrs old. I have always had hormonal issues. As a child, my mom didn't believe in wasting food. I was forced to eat everything on my plate. I have always loved food. However, it wasn't until my 30s that I began to understand the importance of nutrition and health. I am now in my late 40s and have lost over 70 lbs and completely changed my diet and I feel better. I have NEVER been comfortable being overweight or obese. I wasn't even comfortable in my own skin when I was at healthy weights. Of course now I would give anything to be those sizes again. At least now I am working towards that. It's difficult because America is the worst with poisonous, toxic & bioengineered foods. I have eliminated that stuff from my diet. It leaves me very little selection, but I would rather have satisfactory health than satisfied taste buds and poor health. Being fat is NOT acceptable for ANYONE. PERIOD. Texans need to stop with "there's nothing wrong with being fat". It's a disgusting mindset.
I totally agree
Just went to a beer and BBQ gathering here in NC, and obesity was on full display. Seemed like at least half the attendees were morbidly obese. The wife and I were floored by the sizes of relatively young people.
I am in my mid-60's and when I look at my childhood photos, I look like a famine victim besides the children today!
"There's nothing wrong with who I am or what I look like, if you open your mind."
Your close-minded cardiovascular system disagrees.
@@zuriirose Its a joke. She expects everyone else to join into her own delusion but facts are facts and her body cant adapt to "nothing is wrong" and because of that she died soon after the docu was made. She literally ate herself to death and stayed in constant denial.

Good thing it was only for a week..

Meghan Tomlinson I agree!!
She sure is makes me feel sad for her .
@Amber Wallace-Mustufina How come she is killing herself she is addicted to food .She had every excuse in the book she can't breath she can't walk and probably has not seen her cookie for years .And I bet she gets disability for being obese.
@@jackiemarini3203 she's not killing herself. She has been dead for sometime now.
@Amber Wallace-Mustufina Because not being able to put your shoes on or clean your butt is not a happy life. That apron of belly can get infected and rancid underneath, besides who is paying for her lifestyle? I bet it's the taxpayers. I am a little overweight but everyday I strive not to get to a point where I would require caretakers to clip my toenails.
It’s so funny when adults use the excuse , “well as a child I was taught to eat everything off my plate.”

Texas barbecue is a cultural jewel - what makes me sad are the amputations, strokes, heart attacks and premature deaths- as a
European immigrant I am sad because I like these people
I lived in Texas for a bit awhile back...The main cuisines were: a lot of Tex Mex, ribs, beef-and-potatoes kind of stuff, and pasta. Did not encounter a lot of green-smoothie-drinking yoga-goers 😅 Similar as to when I visited Arizona and lived in Idaho. Very different from the San Francisco area where I live now.

@@ski7301 yeah but taxpayers shouldn't have to subsidize their lifestyle and medical treatment.
Nah only one or two. Most of them are doing their best to change. I'm fine with them.
@@ski7301 ok but when that costs the health care system a shit ton of money, that's not cool.

Honey, I'm sorry but....dressing OK doesn't make you look OK. Health is more important than clothes and it shows. Really sad to read that Diane passed away but not unexpected. You can't abuse your body & expect to live.
I thought there was nothing worst but being this big and thinking is okay is the worst i seen in my life.
How comfortable can she be if can't walk, put on her own shoes, or wipe her own bum? Its not losing weight just for the sake of losing weight. Its about being healthy enough to walk. She's not gross or disgusting because she's big. She's a nice lady, and content with herself, which is great. But she's seriously delusional if she thinks she's fine.
Yes
Too lazy!! She WANTS only to justify her behavior and that's what created her weight problem to begin with!!
Exactly. It’s not about losing weight for cosmetic reasons, I couldn’t care less about that. It’s about quality of life and avoiding an early preventable death
