How does this video not have more views??
Fuck, I love Doomtree.
Still comin back to this 13 years later. So dope!
Dear Doomtree Please Come back we need you now more than ever.... a message from 2024
How have I never seen this before? Holy shit it's everything I love from Doomtree. Fire. Proof that they're all a bunch of giant nerds from the Midwest. Absolute self-awareness about that and owning it like bosses. Culture jamming for a straight decade.
Priceless
Still Listening to this in 2018.
Representing in 2020. Years on, still got it!
Watching in 2016, this video is so dorky, I love it and love Doomtree :-p
2017
fuck nigga its about to be 2018 lol
It's 2018 guys!
2019 harlots
Damn dorky? I always thought this clip was cool af.
Hell yeah that's the Midtown Greenway bike path. Minneapolis represent!
Wow! This video is fantastic. How so many talented people (producers, MCs, photographers) could come together and make such great and proffesional music and videos is beyond me...
Still like the song, after all this time. Just had to see Video today. Best from Germany!!!!
Representing Minnesota in true fashion- bike riding!
Yup, and taking up the entire f-ing road.
Sims is the man.
love how POS's son is riding with the crew. That and the fact that I love seeing MPLS
Honestly Minneapolis is an amazing place to live. Love every minute of it.
DAMN! This video almost made me regret leaving the 612/952! Rock on Twin Cities!
Half the time in this video they're on the Midtown Greenway. I bike there all the time.
Fuck yeah Doomtree!
I love that they are biking through my neighborhood
Dessa!
Dessa! yes!
i got to see p.o.s. live last year. it was great. all those hip-pop "artists" you hear on the radio can't hold themselves up live at all. all they have is their appearance and the rest was made on computers and in studios. the problem is people listen to them because they don't know doomtree or any other underground artists exist. atmosphere's kind of bringing rhymesayers out but they're still relatively unknown. i think it's our devoir to change that. KEEP SUPPORTING REAL HIP HOP.
This album is fuckin' great.
Jeeeesus Dessa kills it.
DoomTree is possibly the freshest collective in indie rap.
Still here in 2024
2008 was a wild time
one of the first music videos i ever seen if not the first, rep doom till i die thank you dad
I love how the beat just got fuckin' real when POS rides in from the side, YES!!!!

OMG that just made my heart melt. I
I still love that shit.
No dust to it, after so many years.
Plus, the bikes rule :-D
One of the most complex instrumentals and lyrics song I have heard.
Both of which are deadly. Love it.
my preorder got here a couple days ago. it's so good.
Simple, original concept for video. If more music videos were like this, more people would care about them again.
just discovered this. I've been lost, man
reppin it old school
i love how every one of them get a verse in.
WORD LIFE, SON!!!! B-BOY ALL DAY! FELT LIKE '87 ALL OVER AGAIN!

This is so dope, I'm stoked for the release party tomorrow at first Ave. And I wish I got to ride w/them. Kinda sad, I ride on the Greenway a lot.
This whole song is tight.

No, that's MK Larada. Paper Tiger has a hat on, with his trademark Ray-Bans. You can see him at the beginning of the video riding next to Beak.

Doomtree is dope! But for some reason I keep expecting Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein to come from out of no where, and start rapping and Beatboxing!
I love how the guitar kicks in when P.O.S appear.
this is fucking incredible.
Let's switch for a week. I wanna go to the UK hard.
MTV wouldn't play this because they wasn't kickin' it with helmets....See you at Doomtree Blowout 6!!!!

'This is not a promise its a threat
The cigarette to your balloon"
fucken sick!!
That beat is straight off the chain!!!
Way ahead of thier time!!
This is art, and expression. That's where rap originated from.
***CHILLS...HAIR STANDING UP!***
"you're feet first in ice water, we feet first in fire" woot woot!!
sick beat!!!!
2021!!!
Their beats are so impressive.
artistry at work, I'm a hip hop construct, see my carpentry at work , roll up the sleeves to allow the crease up my shirt, keep it crispy, like the snap of a snare drum, who is he, this hidden poet who dares dumb, def with the step I tread, the rest who fight this might just be left for dead, like the wait I bury, in the flurry of a wake, I eliminate the hate in a hurry, I got my outstretched hand ready to serve you, a fist in the form of a blistering light that may burn you, turn to, something cutting edge, I'm just a firm tool, put my knife up, slice up and leave you bloody red, or green with envy, so sit back relate, hate or wait for my entry, I rap for free, here's a page from my past, it'll last past a century, and a half, like to run tasks, multiply results, in my blood bath, let the cool water soak, a fool hearted joke, with a punchline that'll blind you, so close your eyes and pray to the heaven above that I can't find you...
+Golden Modem You literally rhyme at work with at work in the first line.
@SpecialEd1975 the first is Cecil Otter, the last is Sims
Yes, I road my bike there too.
@docz2a If you also are curious about Doomtree songs with Dessa, you should check out these songs: "The Wren," "Dots & Dashes," "Veteran," "Flex," and ESPECIALLY "No Homeowners (Renter's Rebate)"...her verse is seriously amazing on this last song, I've never heard anything like it.
@docz2a I'm not sure if you mean strictly Dessa solo songs, or also Doomtree songs with Dessa.
If you mean only solo Dessa, you should check out her song "Press On (feat. Sims)" on her "False Hopes" album...her verse's flow is incredible. Her first "Mineshaft" song is another solo song where she raps.
Reppin chicago and lake street.
@batow8 Have you heard of Paper Tiger's newest effort? It was released probably within the last couple weeks? It's mostly instrumentals, but Dessa is featured on one of the tracks. I haven't heard anything about a new full-length Doomtree album.
so this is what happens when people from punk and heavy rock bands, start rapping..nice, i like it.
@itsliekhenry Your video probably didn't load right then, it's fine when I watch it. In any case though, they didn't have half a million to drop on a video, so this is really good for low budget.
