    Escape the food trap at eatingfreedom.c...
    Hi, my name is Joe and I have solved the eating trap. This is a trap may people fall into before they are even capable of making choices. It starts with the food we are fed when young that our parents were unknowingly educated to feed us. It consists of highly addictive combinations of fat, sugar, fat and salt. These natural mix (can you name a fatty/sweet/salty food you can find in nature?) changes the way our brain is wired and how we respond around food. This ultimately leads to out-of-control eating that I call the eating trap. It can be severe as in binge eating or mild as in over-eating or all day grazing. But either way it negatively impacts our life. I made it my mission to solve this and I have. If you would like to work directly with me please visit eatingfreedom.c... to see how I can help you break free.
    About This Channle
    I suffered food addict for 15 years. I have suffered obesity, food addiction, binge eating and diabetes (how it all started: • The Best Transformatio... ). I believe in the tremendous power of the mind to overcome all obstacles. I want to use this power that I discovered to take care of my body. The mission is to do a body transformation which will make me lose weight, cure diabetes naturally and overcome obesity. I use raw foods ( • All Raw - Day 50 ), a high carb vegan lifestyle and excercise ( • Don't miss my first wo... ) to do this. Sometimes I feel like quitting ( • I'm Quitting... ), but then I discover that there is nowhere to get to ( • How To Get Back On Tra... ) and come back discovering the gift of addiction ( • They thought addiction... ) I rap ( • Fat Man (Rap Video) Fa... ), study the science of food addiction ( • Why Restrictive Eating... ) and entertain you( • Shit High Carb Vegans ... ). I do everything in my power to solve this riddle and have fun doing it. For you and for me. These videos are the documentary on my weight loss journey. I hope to inspire others trough sharing myself • You're Fat And Therefo... The positive feedback from all of you inspires me to continue on this path and find a solution that works. Joe, I really apreciate, you posted a video like this. Watching your brother like this is heartbreaking for me. This is really tough on everybody in your family.
    I wish, that we were able to talk more freely about mental illness, instead of hiding it away.
    I wish, your brother could get better, but it seems to be very complicated.
    Sending lost of love and hugs from Denmark to you and your family.

    Big hug, Joe. I'm feeling your sadness and frustration....and your love for your brother.
    Btw, I beat T2 diabetes....and a stage 4 and stage 2 cancer.....and move every day closer to raw vegan lifestyle habits...I'm no purist, but I'm doing great by eating fruits veggies and some grains....very little fat, No meat.
    Just discovered your videos....and you make me smile. I've shared quite a few with the WLS community. I had the gastric sleeve surgery and am now plant based which goes against the mainstream Bariatric grain.
    Thank you for making so many terrific videos.
    Another hug for you.

    Joe…I lost my first wife to bipolar disorder…..within a few months she became another person..the toughest time was when she realized she was slipping away and said "I dont know whats happening to me"…..this has been the hardest time in my life…….your mum is a saint……I feel it brother….

    I frrl your pain Joe. I'm going through it with my mom who suffers from Parkinsons and diabetes. She is also unable to walk. She used to be on a lot of medication that zonked her out and made hallucinate. I have slowly gotten her off all those useless medications over the past year and a half except her High blood pills. This is nearly impossible to do when you're the only one in the family trying to feed her healthy food. It's very hard, but I just keep doing what I can do and can control. Keep doing what you're doing brother. :-)

    Thanks for sharing your brother's story, Joe. It's brave of both of you.
    I had bipolar disorder and have been in and out of hospital and mental health system my whole life until I decided to take charge of the condition with fruit-based diet, exercise, water, sleep, etc. Today I'm completely off all medication and discharged from the system! I hope your brother can find this kind of autonomy too :)
    I want to make a video about it but obviously it's difficult with the emotional ties. This makes me want to make the video more - inspired by your bravery!

    I am sending you many blessings for sharing your experience with your bother.I am so glad that you made the connection with meds and mental illness. It is so true once you take them you get stuck having to taking them. I have serve insomnia and was given meds to take to sleep. I have been going threw this for 10 years. I had started with a low dose and each had to increase. I did go vegan 8 months ago and i have decreased my meds by half. I am holding on to the hope that i can get off the meds for good. Thank you so much for bringing awareness to such a difficult subject. I will pray for your bothers healing. I will pray for you and your family.

    Wow I can't thank you enough... I am going thru this now, my mom is really bad... Screaming and crying to laughing and smiling. She is on no meds and eats less than 1000 calls a day, she was on the strongest meds for 5 years... I don't understand it at times. It is toxicity. It's so hard to feel like you know how to heal someone and they don't want to believe it or don't believe in themselves. I guess some things I can't change.

      We cant change them only love them. I lived with my brother for 3 years. Everyday helping him. Made great changes but as soon as I moved out he went off the rails and got sectioned. Somethings have no solution but instead teach us about life and give us a chance to experience our own strength. Plus the do beneift from your care!

    Tony says it all at 1:30 "I don't like it but it feels good" And as you aptly said it Joe, we are all there. After three weeks without alcohol or cigarets and on healthy foods, Tony was obvioulsy going through withdrawal symptoms which are GREAT because his body had finally met the conditions that allowed it to heal. These symptoms would have disapeared after a while. I understand you were all exhausted trying to cater for Tony. I wish this kind of healing clinics with dedicated 24/7 staff on will exist soon for all the Tonys in the world. Oh and Jo, no need to blame the meds, he was sick before taking meds and people suffered from the same symptoms for thousands of years. There was a guy some 2000 years ago who treated schizophrenia, epilepsy or diabetes and you know how he did that ? He was making them fast. I am not adocating hereTony should be put to fast, I'm just saying he should be offered the conditions that would stop the habits that prevent his body from healing. Wish you the best for you and for your brother, Joe. By that I mean I wish you'd soon go through your own hell to wellness. Then knowing the process you'll be able to help your brother through his own. There is just no other known way out.

    So much love and compassion for you and your family in this video. Thank you so much for sharing this, and showing this part of your life. Your family is beautiful, and you are doing everything you can for your brother, and sometimes that just means being there to support them when you don't know what else to do. I hope your brother the best, and that one day there can be a good resolution for whats going on with him

    Bless you Joe for sharing this story. Your Mom is so sweet and the videos I've seen of your brother show that he has a great personality and sense of humour. You are there for your family and that is so encouraging to see. People thar suffer this this most often don't receive loving support. I've been thinking about/living with food addictions for 30 years or so. Not just the "eat an extra donut" type of overeating but having food control my thoughts most waking hours. Lately I've thought about whether it is another way mental illness manifests or is it the toxic food and environment that drives the addiction or a combination of the two? Have you ever thought about it in this way? What are your thoughts.

    ah joe.. I know what's like. I'm at the point where I have had to accept that the only person I've ever truely loved (my mum) is gone. kills me. she believes the government are after her and that everyone is 'in on the crime' and 'in cahoots' with 'them'. Even me at one point which broke me. took me along time to get over it. she drinks tons of coffee, barely eats properly etc and there is no convincing her. she believes I'm in on the 'crime' if I suggest her do anything different. sigh> I feel the same way about medication but my mum does not believe she has anything wrong with her, it's everyone else that is ill etc. I don't know what to do. thanks for the video joe.

    Bless you. I am a hospice nurse here in the US and I know all too well about the medical establishment. I advocate holistic methods as much as possible, but there are times when a person is so far into "medical treatment" that it is next to impossible to reverse the longterm damage that has been done. You do the best you can with what you have, dear. Keep on loving your brother as you are. That's the best medicine you can give. Good job...just know you are doing a good job.

    • @mangoman7042
      @mangoman7042 9 лет назад

      Adventures in Whole Living I believe in holistic too but what about for people that do not believe they are ill? is there just no hope?

    • @manna51
      @manna51 9 лет назад

      Mango Man Ⓥ Not believing they are ill is actually part of the illness most of the time. It is so hard for caregivers. There is always hope...never give up hope! Sometimes there is just no reasoning with a person who has a mental illness. You just take care of yourself the best you can so that you have the strength to deal with them in the best way that you can. I hope you have a support system--family, friends, even a medical/social work team? If not, seek out help. Blessings to you, friend. It is not easy. You take care of you, holistically. If you can't take care of your loved one holistically, do the best you can with what you got.

    Had a similar case in my family, at one point the person completely lost it and claimed he was a cop who was haunted by Russian drug mafia. He really acted like it was true, made up stories, payed a Russian prostitute to show up at with him and support his stories, lifted a shop with a toy gun, slept under a trailer, it was just extremely unsettling to watch.
    You're doing a great job!
