    As a former theatre brat I can tell you, you have just created perfect stage makeup! It might look frightful up close, but from the stage or on camera it actually looks pretty great!

    so impressive how fast you nailed your colors... it does look thick on you but otherwise the colors are spot on... that was fun to watch!

    danessa myricks palette primary palette is the best for doing this. Not heavy on the skin. And you use it for shadow, blush, lips, blush, everything. . .

    The heavy makeup reminds me of stage makeup. We had an exchange student from Germany one year and her makeup was extremely heavy but very beautiful on her. So much, in fact, some students were wondering who the new student was and she had been there all year!!! Ha. So much fun with all those colors!!! You should do the other ones as what NOT to do with your complexion and undertones. 💕💕🤪

    Since you made comments about other brands allowing you to tone correct their products. It would be interesting to see you do a few brands to color correct them...like a series.

    Maybe the magenta instead of the red? The primary colors of pigment are actually magenta, cyan, and yellow, not red, blue, and yellow. Red and blue are both secondary colors (blue is magenta + cyan, red is magenta + yellow)- which is why mixing red and blue in many pigments very often leads to a grayish brown rather than purple…

    • @Just_Kirsty
      @Just_Kirsty Год назад +2

      I was going to say this, but then read your comment. I see this all the time and wonder why most people think red, blue and yellow are the primary physical colors while blue and red are primary light colors... Her results were still great, but mixing the exact colors you want needs way more work with secondary colors imho...

    • @karikelly2797
      @karikelly2797 Год назад +1

      @@Just_Kirsty art teachers in the US are still teaching color theory incorrectly, so people think this very commonly. It Is unfortunate because they are also teaching a misconception about the word primary.

    This reminds me of elementary school. I was obsessed makeup tutorials but my mom wouldn't let me wear makeup to school. So I used a little bit of red face paint on my cheeks and lips and white under my eyes and black to fill in my brows. Probably looked insane but I thought I really cracked the code lmao.

    This wd work a whole lot better and be easier if you understood A) “color theory”
    B) complimentary colors and weren’t just taking a stab at it.
    “A little more yellow” isn’t going to tone down or neutralize too much red (yellow + red = orange)

  • @samanthaj.3570

    You’re ONE sentence in the video and it makes no sense. You said “I’m neutral warm pink…” NEUTRAL. WARM. Then Pink is COOL. Wtf?…. Total nonsense, first sentence in. Lots of accurate, helpful knowledge about “color theory”is surely coming up 🤨🙄.
