That part honestly is the nicest. Its nice to see how there's a group of people this game really touched despite everything that fell short with it.
Despite it's flaws FFXV is still a fantastic game beautiful in lore and gameplay. It's just a shame the head of Square made a gigantic mistake pulling the team to work on a new title before the game could really shine through. I think some of the cut regions would have made it back into the game if Episode Aranea, Luna and Noctis had made it into the game.

This game has such a special place in my heart. Yet I'm still sad thinking about all the potential and all the ideas that just never made it into the final product. The game we now know as FFXV stumbled its way through development, stumbled its way through post-release, and then fizzled out in the end with the canceled DLCs. I know we got the book, and I liked it, but it's not the same. And for that matter, all the DLCs weren't the same as it would have been to just get a game that felt cohesive and well-constructed in the first place. It feels like most of the rest of the world has moved on, but my heart is still right here. It's odd loving a work of fiction that leaves me with this kind of void.
I definitely haven't moved on lol Which is why I'm recreating the Insomnia part inside kingdom hearts 3 so people can finally explore Insomnia properly.

still blows my mind how long we waited for Versus XIII only to get XV and STILL had lost so much potential T__T forget Pitioss, the entire world of Eos is almost entirely inaccessible in the main game! Wish this particular FF title got the time and care it desserved, because I Loved Noctis and the interesting dark story despite its flaws!
529 / 5.000 and the best part is that they spend millions to create an empty game and complain because they don't make numbers compared to how they estimate. The city would have had beautiful potential for a story of the king in the city with his citizens and the vast plains and hills that could be explored and walked around. If they had a minimum of brains and patience to have a return on investment they would have done it in pieces as a multiplayer game which nowadays would be the best instead of spending decades to make a single game ( and in fact prohibited cost ).
The game is an work of art but a work of sadness, tabata wasnt really passionate to work on this from the start & it shows all of the ideas that the team & nomura had just simply scrapped or limited. In the open combat insomnia & demo had really cool hidden details & areas that belonged to the original concept of noctis being in the invasion. Sad to see it scrapped away
I don't think we can put all the blame on Tabata, we don't really know if the Nomura project would have ever been finished or what it would have been like, it's more like a bad management in Square Enix as a whole. But yes, this game hurts, it's incredibly promising and disapointing at the same time, lot of missed opportunities.

It's not to be blamed on Tabata or Nomura. But on Square Enix higher ups. Nomura was given a shit ton of projects, from designing, directing, etc. Not to mention many developers in his team being taken from him to work on other projects. And Tabata was forced to connect an unfinished clusterfuck including the changing and development of new engines within a 3-4 year period. It's actually surprising that the game ended as good as it has been. If only the game was given more time to expand and fill plot holes. Hopefully Square Enix would release a definitive edition of FFXV that incorporates all released DLC and unreleased DLC into the main story, in addition to the inaccessible places and regions in the open world.
What? That's strange. How are you trying to start it? You should just be able to start it as you would in a regular game. I went through the debug menu on the main menu, chapter select and picked chapter 9. There I progress through the chapter as usual until I reached the leviathan fight. I suppose you're asking this for armiger mode, once you're in armiger mode during the fight, you can open the debug menu, select "move" and teleport somewhere else. If it's too much problem and you're not in a hurry, I should have a mod to make the usage of god mode armiger possible on the base game in a much more convenient way soon, it's still work in progress.

I gave up on the idea of downgrading the steam version back to the debug build, it's too tedious, so I simply just downloaded a pirated version of the debug build, that way I can have both the regular steam version and the debug version at the same time, separately. They also use different save / settings locations so they really don't conflict with each others. The downside is that it takes more space on your drive, but it's a lot more convenient if you just want to do some tests and have some fun on the debug without breaking your main game.

You don't really need cheat engine for most stuff. There's even a mod that's been released to use god mod freely anywhere at anytime from a menu, so even the debug build isn't needed for that anymore: modworkshop.net/mod/38575 Cheat engine is only if you want stuff like editing time of day, change physics etc. If you want to use cheat engine, you need to use a previous exe from the game (look for avatara exe) because the currently available cheat engine table doesn't work with new versions of the game.
There is a debug version of the game somewhere that let you access a specific menu with dev features, it's not available in the public release of the game, so you need that specific version for it. It's not necessary anymore for the flying armiger though! I helped working on a mod to allow this transformation anywhere anytime, I need to update the video description and include that. Here's the link: modworkshop.net/mod/38575 You can now toggle it on / off by opening the photo mode in the items.

@@alumlovescake Yes, I spent a few days replaying the leviathan and ardyn fights over and over, and editing the script of these missions each time, until I found what was actually triggering that flying mode. I was modifying the scripts until I managed to make it not happen, so I knew it would be the right value to use in a mod. When I found it, I shared it in a discord server about FF XV modding, and someone helped me attaching it to a mod! I originally thought about attaching it to the chocobo rental menu, since it's not something used a lot, and that's what we did, but then someone managed to attach it to the photo mode, which is even better since we can now toggle it on / off from anywhere. For Iris and Aranea, debug guild is the only way I know sadly yes.

This game did not age well. Finished it during release and another after all the free dlcs released, and now on last playthrough w royal edition. Episode gladio was embarassing and its criminal that that was a paid dlc. Most of the side quests are useless fetch quests that doesnt build the world or makes sense. Dino a reporter making bracelets? And that AH making u run back to the end of galdin quay every fcking time. Square enix keeps failing to make characters that are believable as real human beings, w expressions, gestures, and dialogues that no real person will say. That scientist that makes you look for dots that passes as frogs omg. They cant even be arsed to come up w a reason why she even need frogs. Towns are designed as pits stops to a world where no one actually lives. Open world has Farms or structures that has no people or purpose other than to show how unplanned and unfinished the world is. I used to love this game, but on this last playthrough,i just got reminded again how SE is trash. This was still better than 13, but that game is pure shit so it wasnt hard to outdo it.

Imagine this game have a Remake in my lifetime. It's so fascinating.
I really like this Mix of Historic, Futuristic, Modern and Fantasy elements into one World, and for me FFXV did it perfectly to my Liking!

You will need the Avatara compatible exe however, since the table doesn't work with the latest .exe, it would need to be remade.
There is a category near the end about velocity for X and Y, which will change noctis speed (and therefore warp) and jump height.

You don't really need cheat engine for most stuff. There's even a mod that's been released to use god mod freely anywhere at anytime from a menu, so even the debug build isn't needed for that anymore:

Cheat engine is only if you want stuff like editing time of day, change physics etc.
If you want to use cheat engine, you need to use a previous exe from the game (look for avatara exe) because the currently available cheat engine table doesn't work with new versions of the game.

What is meant by debug menu?
There is a debug version of the game somewhere that let you access a specific menu with dev features, it's not available in the public release of the game, so you need that specific version for it.
It's not necessary anymore for the flying armiger though! I helped working on a mod to allow this transformation anywhere anytime, I need to update the video description and include that. Here's the link:

What about playing as iris and Aranea though is the debug the only way to do that. There is a few mods on the workshop but they look incredibly broken
@@alumlovescake Yes, I spent a few days replaying the leviathan and ardyn fights over and over, and editing the script of these missions each time, until I found what was actually triggering that flying mode. I was modifying the scripts until I managed to make it not happen, so I knew it would be the right value to use in a mod. When I found it, I shared it in a discord server about FF XV modding, and someone helped me attaching it to a mod! I originally thought about attaching it to the chocobo rental menu, since it's not something used a lot, and that's what we did, but then someone managed to attach it to the photo mode, which is even better since we can now toggle it on / off from anywhere.
For Iris and Aranea, debug guild is the only way I know sadly yes.

wasted potential. this game could have a good exploration but they kept it semi open world.
This game did not age well. Finished it during release and another after all the free dlcs released, and now on last playthrough w royal edition. Episode gladio was embarassing and its criminal that that was a paid dlc. Most of the side quests are useless fetch quests that doesnt build the world or makes sense. Dino a reporter making bracelets? And that AH making u run back to the end of galdin quay every fcking time. Square enix keeps failing to make characters that are believable as real human beings, w expressions, gestures, and dialogues that no real person will say. That scientist that makes you look for dots that passes as frogs omg. They cant even be arsed to come up w a reason why she even need frogs. Towns are designed as pits stops to a world where no one actually lives. Open world has Farms or structures that has no people or purpose other than to show how unplanned and unfinished the world is. I used to love this game, but on this last playthrough,i just got reminded again how SE is trash. This was still better than 13, but that game is pure shit so it wasnt hard to outdo it.
I am still irrationally angry at this game for not living up to either it’s storytelling or open world gameplay potentialZ
