I just watched this movie last night. I thought it was one of the better Christian movies I've ever seen. The actress who played the mother of the kids absolutely rocked that role. She knocked it out of the park. I also thought the guy who played the father, who is not a professional actor, did an excellent job. Coincidentally, we missed the beginning of the movie, and came into the movie when the husband was convincing the wife to go to the States. Shoftly after that was the airport scene. There wass an accident on the highway, and so that's why we were late. Glad to see I didn't miss much. 🙂
By the way, Unsung Hero is my favorite movie in theaters now. And had no problem with the beginning. You start off seeing how they are at the top, what happened to knock them down, and why they moved to the states. It was done as quickly as possible while not skipping too many details.
Saw this movie yesterday afternoon, absolutely awesome I love this movie 💯 I recommend anyone to see it, you will be inspired and encouraged to trust God in everything, and burn the ships that would take you back to where you came from, and move forward

The second half of this movie was better than the first. I am not familiar with this band or story. While it was ok, I wish it focused more on the mother than the Father. The Father was/is very unlikable and I was more interested in the moms' story and relationship with Rebecca than her Dad.
I plan to see the movie today. Is this supposed to be a Christian family? If so, not once is God mentioned in your review of the movie. Maybe it will be more obvious once I see the whole movie. I'll try to comment after seeing it.
Just randomly watched this with my daughters and all throughout the movie they would say’ gosh they are nice helpful people’ they loved it.
