HOW AM I TRAINING FOR THAILAND

  • recap, the last month I've been getting serious about training muay thai in Thailand. I figured it was now or never if I'm ever going to go to Thailand again, and do a serious two week muay thai retreat.
    Don't have any actual muay thai in this video, but it has my usual S&C workout for the week. If you're interested let me know, it's pretty basic routine. Don't go to heavy that you go to failure since you need quick recovery to continue you actual training during the week.
    Here's a basic breakdown on what I do during the week. It's now a week before I train in Thailand so I'm going to try and avoid injury and focus on just my cardio, and some pad, and bag work.
    mondays - bag work
    tuesdays - bjj
    wednesdays - run
    thursdays - muay thai
    saturdays - S&C.
    Last week to go, every day: 5km run, 10 min shadow box, 5x3min on the heavy bag, and some medicine ball workouts, push ups and sit ups to end it. Finish off with a nice Thai Curry at the end of the day.
    I kind of know what to expect, but I'm not naive to try and hang with the pros. I'm just going to do my best here.
