Josh is a god damn hero. He saved countless lives. He stayed calm, kept thinking and pulled out all the stops in keeping everyone safe. That’s what a dispatcher should always do in real situations. Absolutely epic
0:33 I'm impressed with how quickly 118 reacted to Josh's order, and them doing so even though the unit's on the scene having told them that the area was clear. It shows us how much trust they have in him that they responded immediately.
I love this because he is playing the perfect support role. In video games, the attack and defense roles are important of course, but the job of the support is to control the battlefield. Heal and buff allies, debuff and harass opponents, and strategize and predict enemies moves. He controlled the situation perfectly
That's why I like the support role so much. People think support is just healing but it's MUCH more than that. Take the Engineer from PVZ, a support role that specializes in crowd control, speed support and ammo supply, the perfect aggressive-support hybrid.
I have a weird feeling that they’re pushing for Josh to become the new team leader, with Maddie taken over his role and May taking over the role of Maddie
@@johnstewart4007 because she wasn’t thinking straight, she’ll probably return in a later episode, she just needs time and honestly I was kinda annoyed why they didn’t involve his Chimney’s second mother (the woman who took care of him after his mom died) more like to me that seemed really obvious to do, especially with the rehabilitation of Chim’s half brother
Boy, do I want to see this whole episode! Josh was an absolute genius as he analyzied the entire perimeter of the boxcar area. This is my favorite part. I could watch it over and over again with the previous part.
I was half expecting Josh to say "Check Mate", man was playing virtual chess in his head when he was acting as the guy in the chair when the cops caught the guy.
He killed this episode. He deserve performer of the week, month, year ,etc. I'm so glad Bobby listened to him. You got to see just how important the dispatcher are as well as the first responders. He acted his ass of in this episode as well. I hope he comes back in the future . I miss Josh and Sue too.👏👏👏👏🧑🚒👮♂. He was leader that day for sure.
Not necessarily dispatchers are often able to do things like analysing perimeters and picking up patterns of movement as they are largely removed from the situation and not affected by the majority of the stress of actually being on scene and in the moment (not to say they don’t have their own stresses) and they can see a lot more of the big picture
I love Josh forever. He's one of my favorite 9-1-1 characters forever. He's the king, the hero, and the boss. He did a phenomenal job in this episode. He's one of the best 9-1-1 characters forever. I'm so proud of him. He deserves a man in his life.
Bro even without this scene Josh is a goated character I clenched my whole body when he got jumped. This scene is just one of the many reasons he is great.
It is not seen in this clip, but earlier he asked the police to mentioning the container numbers they were passing, and try keeping him updated. Using the information he had he picturing a map of the container yard in his head. If you are thinking my not send a police chopper to help, they were working on it. They were told the helicopter was going to take awhile to get there. Anyway, when he reviewed the locations of each time police said they saw the suspect, he figured out what direction the suspect was trying to go. Thus realizing the suspect is trying to circle back.

This was like an episode of Log Horizon: a perfectly controlled encounter.

Josh was brilliant in this episode.
He saved lots of people, especially the 118 family.
May's looking at Josh like "I WANNA BE YOOOUUU!!!!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe more like her mums husband/stepdad is shot at 🤷♀️
@@MsPandachen agree. That’s her stepdad’s station. She was scared for Bobby.
@@MsPandachen they way you wrote that... You're basically saying he mom's stepdad
Yeah, he kinda earned I wanna be him status
We can all agree he would’ve won the josh fight, right?
my favourite episode of the season. About time Josh's past was shown.
I know! I keep loving him more and more!
Yes i loved knowing how he became part of the family.. at dispatch.
I agree, but it was a missed opportunity to follow suit with the episode naming scheme and call it Josh Begins :)
I said the same thing to my mom
Josh's past?? I must've missed the part where it's explained what he did before becoming a 911 dispatcher
I already adored Josh, I didn't need this but I'm certainly not complaining lmao. He's so precious
So we both agree he’d win the josh fight if he competed?
First time he was training Maddie I thought he was just going to be a massive jerk, but he quickly became one of my favorite characters. I love him.
Our firefighters... they don't have bulletproof vests!
(Foreshadowing has entered the chat)
Well thanks for that lol. Definitely a line that hits different now
It really was foreshadowing wasn't it. They should get some after eddie
Foreshadowing never left the chat 😂 There's so much meta written into this show.

Well that theory seems to have been partially shot down.
@@sierraguru6942 it could still happen though given that she does it without thinking straight
@Jamail van Westering and @Sierra Guru
It’s possible that might be the case, but if you recall that Maddie quit her job in a later episode.
And if that happened they should bring CJ as a regular to take mays position

Was Josh some sort of Math genius?? Analyzing the perimeter the way he did

This episode from Dallas was interrupted by the weather report. When will this episode air again?
If you have acess to hulu on the internet you can watch it there if not you have to wait for summer finale then watch out for the rerun
If you go on to the Fox, I believe it is, website the episode should be there.
Shows need to show the dispatch role more often. They’re awesome.
Josh is a freakin' superhero!
JOSH IS AMAZING!!!!! 😻😻😻😻😻😻
Josh is a genius!
The way May look at Josh be like 👍
This is why we love Josh
Josh came in clutch, goddamn
Not even one brain neuron was working on something else. Total focus. Amazing!
I have no clue how josh just went god mode for 10 minutes
Next time the first responders go to the bar, they should take Josh with them. And he doesn't pay for a round all night!!
