As a console player who owns the Chieftain Mk 6 and knows the silhouette well, I would say that that snowglobe tank's frontal hull and side turret look almost identical to that of my Chieftain. I'd say it's pretty likely

I agree. Om 0:37 of wargaming vid you can see the hull pretty well. I`d say Chieftain.
There is a shot where you can see the globe from above much clearer. You can clearly see that the UPF has chinese like ERA blocks (kontakt 1 ripoff from the looks of it) and the turret cheeks have kontakt 5 like ERA blocks. The hull is not long enough to be a T-64 or a T-72 nor the gun to be a 125mm. IF it's a historical tank wich i higly doubt, then it's probably either a type 59G or a type 69II variant. Then again, knowing wargaming, it's probably gona be some sort of prototype or paper tank.

I just REWATCHED the trailer and in the beginning theres this like top down view of the desk definitely looks like a T-72 you can clearly see the ERA on the turret and the fuel barrels on the back
Edit: T-72s dont have fuel barrels but might be an addition or just a different tank, although as of right now the turret definitely looks like a t-72

Based on the profile of the hull, it's definitely not German. It's more flat and wide which could be british, Chinese or Russian but, the tan color would suggest British
Also the turret seems to be much flatter and wider than a Russian/Chinese turret and more like a classic british style turret
You get a better view of the tank for the top down about 10 seconds into the video. I've got no idea what it is but it's got some range extender tanks on the back and what looks like ERA or spaced armour on the front of the turret.

I don't really like HE :/ always damaging. But I understand people like it and I enjoy the montages of kv2s hehe
I´d go even further and say that scaling up all HPs and Alpha dmg numbers on all tanks instead of just nerfing gold is also pretty damn stupid, poorly done( since dmg is scaling more than HP pools overall), and an absolute waste of time and resources, just to not impact gold ammo directly. Only low tiers required those HP adjustements, not the fucking entire game.....
I hope they are going to do the balancing things in this game well someday, but don´t have too much faith in it at this point honestly.

No Type-R, no Money
4 years minimum to get the t-50-2 not 6. it was 6 to get the special old style
and now they might give it to all, the normal version of the 50-2... so the 5 years did to be allowed one, (and those players of 4 years to 6 plus years for theirs, could no longer 'special' for me/them/us... :(
I feel a bit pissed off at that, imagine how many will be spamming, skidding and rolling-over due to it being thin and top heavy, if it would become another normal special for all; just a thought, it'd make the gift of 5 years seem more worthless than the gift it really was - a rare tank.
But hopefully that is the joke they (WG) are triggering to laugh at those players feeling a bit upset or worse, about their previous service length gift(s)...
With luck they might tweak the physics damage, so that tracking becomes a bit easier from terrain with hard turns at full speed or over very rough bouncy ground or medium cliff falls again similar to like it was after the 1st major physics rework, since 'enhanced suspension' is rarely needed to help fast mobile tanks at all nowadays.

I stopped playing WoT in 2017. However I started playing it in 2012 I believe so I'm super hyped downloading it again and hopefully playing with an hellcat. even tho I miss the old one :(

be warned, the average playerbase ideas of tactics and team play as certain times of the day, is truely truely awful thses days, basically weekdays in EU, play after lunch time, better yet after 3pm to have anyting near competent teams until 2am.
Me too, I haven't played in...a year and a half now, I think. I've been kicking around the idea of reinstalling, this just gives me a rather big incentive to get a move on.

I got to say, it's really nice that they also give away the T-50-2 for the players that missed it last year. This means that my son, who missed it by 1 year the last time, now gets both the Super-Hellcat and the T-50-2. :) He will be happy!

It's pre-nerf Hellcat but on tier 7. Basically T25/2 that exchanges armour (which is useful only against HE) for speed. Not really great, just a decent tank. This is based on supertest stats so I hope they buffed it a little - at least penetration or DPM because its gun really sucks (it's marginally better than T20's 90mm).
ELC AMX FTW there’s stats on the tank already?.. The pen is 167 / 203 mm and the top speed is 72kmh and 20 backwards, as of now. It’s balanced to say the least
@@antinotice But it's still not a pre-nerf Hellcat, because the traverse is still low. It's better than regular Hellcat but not by much. Also, original Hellcat had really good acceleration. It was faster than the Cromwell.
EDIT: For what the "Original Three" were like, you gotta look at the KV2, and the Cromwell. The KV2 now is a lot like the KV1S was back in the day. Massive damage, but long reload. Pretty decent armor for tier 6. KV1S was more mobile. Cromwell hasn't changed. The Hellcat was on par with both the KV1S and the Cromwell for DPM and mobility. They nerfed its mobility and accuracy down into the tubes. Still a good tank, just not nearly what it once was. Getting rid of the KV1S was a big mistake. I left the game for a few years because of it. :\
@@TehButterflyEffect Traverse speed wasn't nerfed directly, though (not counting the time they added ability to pivot turn) - it was reduced because they nerfed engine and ground resistances. And we still don't know what are ground resistances of Super Hellcat - we only have garage stats and I doubt even those are final (last time it had ~1.6k DPM with 167 mm pen which is pathetic for a tier 7 TD with 240 alpha). We know that 20 km/h reverse speed is back and it has 27 h.p/t so its mobility should be even better than pre-nerf Hellcat. Gun handling is also way better than before - even better than most tier 7 mediums.

Since everyone is saying the snowglobe tank is the Chieftan, I'm going to say it's a T-72, T-80, or T-90/92. The angle the tank is sitting and the bad pixelation makes it difficult to make it out real well but I could see it being any of these tanks as well as the Chieftan. We'll just have to wait and see. I also hope they bring back the black market, it was something fun and allowed completely F2P players to purchase some premiums without spending a dime of real world money. I know there were some issues with it but I enjoyed it and am interested in seeing what they do with it in the future.

Super Hellcat Sound pretty interesting.
It's actually a normal Hellcat, Super Hellcat is the upgraded Hellcat with M3 90mm gun and upgraded turret. WG just has no clue about military vehicles.
Don't get your hopes up. It was trash with the last stats from supertest, i hope they have buffed it since then, but if they haven't it is basically the tier 6 Hellcat with the same alpha and pen on tier 7, but with much better gun handling and even lower RoF and DPM than the tier 6 version. It has better engine so it should accelerate faster, but those are all the differences. Again i really hope they buffed the pen and DPM since the last supertest news.

Imagine everyone asks for one tank for years, then you finally release it in a completely overpowered form and only allow 1% of the playerbase to have it if they win a clanwar.
And now they would release it only in limited quantities only to the people who could afford to get up super early or in the middle of a work day, and possibly for an insane price that a lot of people will just not have because if its gold the premium store will go down in seconds and if it's credits it'll be ridiculous.
I'd rather they do nothing at all instead of taunting players with their most requested tank by putting it behind stupid restrictions.
Probably going to be 15-25k bonds on the black market if I had to guess.

On WOT mercenaries a great number of people me included have received a SuperHellcat as reward for Summer Games (it possesses a badass105mm gun) and is really fun to play in it.

I'd say that was the chieftain, I have one on console. Amazing heavy, it almost feels like a medium with a 6.53 second reload (with consumable) and .32 accuracy
These rewards sure do bring me back to the game, keep taking breaks every few years, but man, the hellcat reward is gonna be great, managed to rack up more than a thousand games on the hellcat and i still have the 100% gun mark on it.

Not a surprise to me honestly. With what Wargaming has in stores for players in the game, You’d be amazed when 2020 comes. They’ve got a full Medium tank line for the Polish, Japanese TD’s with a unique feature, Italian Heavy Tanks, Czech Heavys, A new 3rd US heavy Tank line, they teased it with the new Renegade tank. And of course, the new double barreled line, along with the long awaited IS-4 & E 100 buffs. More tanks to be added to the bond shop. Black market will be selling off the German Tier 7 Light Tank & finally, introduction of new Clan wars reward tank! You may choose to believe it or not, but it’ll come soon.

Not awful Panther... One can hope. Even giving it a 430 or 440m base view range - anything that sets it apart would be enough. Its real problem is that it is hopelessly average in almost all aspects and if you have something you want to specialize in, there's a better option for every stat. Often multiple stats.

Snowglobe tank looks alot like a t90. got the same front and from the top you can see the spaced armor on the turret along with the gas tank on the back

Russian Bear check out the T-64BV and T-64BM models, and there is no reason to put modern mbts to this game, t-64 was developed between late 50’s to early 60’s and started to be prodused since then. Which makes sense cuz there is a tank from 60’s like obj279 e

9:15 looks like a stretched model of the super hellcat based on that front hull and the turret bustle. Unless i’m wrong and that’s one of the soviet tier 8 double barreled tank, with just about the right angle to hide the other barrel behind the other.

Roel de Vries they will be giving a free tank out in December for all players. I didn’t mean to come across as uncaring but it’s they do a lot of stuff for new players it’s really cool to seem then honor veterans of the game. I played during the early years but have been absent from the game for a while now.

You can see the Mystery Tank every time that there is an overhead shot of the desk. Its Russian Medium, looks like a t72 to be exact. You can see the distinctive sloped center mounted turret with the short hull base and reactive armor. With the short silhouette I will place a wager on it being a russian medium

It's most likely a soviet model. At around 0:35 (WGs video or 2:25 here) you get a pretty clear shot from above showing something resembling a T-55 with heat shielding at the front of the turret and two fuel barrels at the back of the tank.
It may be a Chieftain, but for me it looks more like T44-100. I love the idea of old Hellcat's comeback, if they'll balance it out just like T-50-2 then its another jackpot. I'd love to see a balanced version of a autoloader Buldog next year ;)
One of the desk ornaments changed from a newtons cradle to that strange perpetual motion (not really) thing.

The T95/FV4201 Chieftain was a test bed for the Mk6 Chieftain. the gun stats and armor strengths are pretty much the same.

At 0:13 in the WoT video there is a top down view of the tank in the snow globe and it looked like a soviet medium tank, maybe a T-72
QB missed the obvious part about the matchmaker being on a perpetual motion machine. The matchmaker is _always_ in motion.
The super hellcat in real life was an M36 GMC 90 mm gun and turret mounted on the hellcat Which is the "fully upgraded" hellcat in World of tanks.
Hellcat is one of my favourites, I have the best skilled crew on it - BIA/SOS (mixed crew, but mostly females). I did not move so far beyond T6 in this tree, just because I like it so much.
That said, I probably have account too short to get reward vehicle for Christmas.
