Welcome to My World! My pronouns are she/her and I am a 55 year old mom who believes no matter how old we get, we never need to grow up! I collect Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Rainbow High, LOL OMG, Na Na Na Surprise, Disney Princess Dolls and so many more! I love fashion dolls and I believe that dolls are the best toys for people to improve empathy and to explore their creativity!
I can't be the only one who wmthinks this current direction of disney dolls would be a perfect way to revamp the attractionistas.
These ily dolls are beautifully made. Clothed are very nice. Way better quality than most dolls on market
I really like Jakks Pacific dolls and your right about those painted on eyes. I got one Disney online one and a couple Jakks, I love them all.

Love the Jakks ones compared to the shopdisney ones. I feel they have better fashions and hair quality. Got all of the first wave from the shopdisney version but for this second wave I'll probably just get the Frozen and Tangled one as I like their fashions the best and their hairstyle seems more unique as they didn't have this style of curly hair and braids in the first wave. Love your review and excitement for the snow white one though.
These dolls are all great, but my favorite of this Disney Wave 2 girls is the Elsa/Frozen bounding doll. She can hold her phone, it just takes a little time to fit it into her hand. Also I find it helps to use small, sharp crafting scissors to carefully remove plastic ties or retention threads when deboxing any doll or outfits. I also wrap doll’s hands in a bit of plastic wrap to help slide them into tight sleeves.

When I opened my first ILY-dolls I thought first too that those were stickers. Was kinda disappointed when I realised they weren't. 😅 That Ursula-themed jacket was so cool.
I def want Jakks Cruella doll. I bought SW & Rapunzel in wave 2. Was happy with Rapunzel but not happy with SW - mine had bad rooting, I didn’t like how cheap they went with the fisnet on the bottom of the dress and sewn terribly & the jacket felt cheap to me. I actually scored wave 1 Ariel for $14.99 on clearance at Target (a few days later she was $8.99 🤦🏻♀️). I don’t think I’m going to collect wave 2 Ariel since I already have the similar wave 1 Tiana doll. I do want wave 2 Belle since I never collected Cinderella who looks similar. And I want Elsa in wave 2 even though I do have the 3 pack holiday dolls and 1 of those came with braids but I didn’t collect the Jakks Mickey doll only the retro reimagined who was hard to find for awhile (took forever to get added online). Def if shop Disney does a wave 3 I want new faces and new characters 🤞🤞🤞. I liked that Jakks did a Bambi & stitch doll and I did like Ursula but also hope to see more variety in theirs too.
Walmart also has some of the Jax brand dolls.
Snow White! I don’t have extra money for dolls right now. But that’s the one I would want.

The nice thing about the Jaaks ILY dolls is that they are in Walmart and on Amazon in Canada. The shipping is a killer for us from Shop Disney, so I will probably not get these. I really like bounding as Elsa, though.

Another great video! Wave 2 of the Disney dolls is not the vibe in my opinion, but the Jakks Cruella and Rapunzel dolls are stunning
I do wish wave 2 introduced all new characters & changed up the faces & hair more. Some of the outfits too weren’t as exciting as wave 1 🤔

hey i don’t know if you read your comments but i just want you to know that i love you so much and i loved you throughout my childhood so much and grew up with your content. i was about 8 when i was introduced to you through that video of guessing monster high dolls blindfolded with your kid and i’d sit at my desk after school everyday and no matter how bad things were and no matter what awful things people did to me, i got to sit down and watch your content. my favourite videos were the ones from the what the thrift series. i would laugh for hours. i am now about to graduate high school and i realise how much i lost myself in order to fit in, and sometimes i like to come back to these videos to remember how simple it used to be. and for the most part it’s just to relive that feeling i got, that feeling of nostalgia. but when you opened up your video with “no matter how old you get you never grow up”, i know it’s just a fun intro but i cried. i’m still sobbing as i write this because it made me realise that the joy doesn’t end when your adult life is just beginning, you just need to find it.

I wonder if the Ariel doll is just meant to be Little Mermaid themed not just inspired by Ariel but by the movie in general. Giving a mix of Ursula and Ariel.

Disney insert eyes are super easily destroyed by contact with water.
So I personally prefer jakks pacific. I just with they had smaller heads.
Please compare the Disney store dolls to the jacks in depth in detail I can see the Disney store ones have a Mickey mouse balloon

I'm so glad they are making these doll dressed like they are going to the park. Some of the earlier ones were way overdressed! I'm definitely leaning toward the villain fans.
We need a whole glow in the dark doll or something big peice that'll draw attention to the doll or toy

Actually both Disney and Jakks are making them. Disney is doing the ones with inset eyes and those are the ones sold at the parks and ShopDisney, while the Jakks ones are the ones being sold at all the major retailers with second outfits or the new budget dolls that come with cute little shopping bags
Hey I just noticed/realized that the Disney Store ILY doll comes with Mickey ears but the jakks done come with ears.
I bought the Snow White doll on Disney website a few weeks ago. Does anyone have any links to the other two on Amazon? I check everyday and I never see these two new ones. I know they are on Target.

Snow White themed she amazing but I wished they would have did something better for the jacket.
The jakks ones are the best versions but unfortunately they're not sold outside US and I can't have them in any way😭😭😭

The Disney and Jakks lines are both running at the same time. This is Wave 2 of the Disney dolls, while Jakks’ wave 2 should come out soon and contain dolls based on Minnie, Cruella, and Rapunzel.
Disney put out another 7 bounding dolls and there is currently the Jakks Cruella available on Amazon. Two more are showing as unavailable currently

tbh the best use of glow in the dark I've ever seen is the MH Greast Scarrier Reef dolls. Like; Kala Mer'ri and other deep sea themed dolls with actual bioluminescence is just so creative and cool.

I think it’s because the Ursula inspired doll is Jakks Pacific, while the one reviewed here is Disney Store. She has inset eyes, more flexible knees, & comes with a surprise Disney Park snack.
But the Disney inset eyes can't take water contact because they have paper. They get ruined.
