I prefer Disney store glass eyes, but I have dolls from both.
I keep going back and forth on which one I like best-sometimes it’s so hard for me to choose 😅
This is such an awesome video! I think I will get the Jakks Pacific Rapunzel. I really love the little lizard, Pascal, on the Disney Store version. And it's great to see the improvements of the Disney store doll's articulation! But I am not loving the yellow in her hair... I feel like that will make it harder to put her in other outfits. I would have even preferred purple in her hair over yellow... But both dolls definitely have their own positive attributes! Thanks for sharing! 💜
You’re so welcome! Yeah I didn’t actually realize that all the newest Disney Store ILY dolls come with different color highlights in their hair. I wonder why they decided to do that with the second series 🤔

I prefer the Jakks doll. She looks slightly more mature and less brightly colored. I just find her prettier overall plus she's got more clothes.
I definitely would have just bought the Jakks doll if I saw her before the Disney Store ILY Rapunzel doll. Though when I held her in my hand, I wasn’t sure anymore 😅
They're both cute, but I personally feel like the Jakks one captures the Rapunzel vibes better than the Disney Store one. I also think i prefer her face better. Did you notice there are teeny tiny hidden Mickeys in her skirt? I saw them when you were holding it up to the camera! Also, I think you might be right that they updated the head articulation on the Dinsey Store one, I'm pretty sure my Cinderella one doesn't have head tilt (though I haven't moved her head for a while lol).
I didn’t even realize the hidden Mickeys were done on all of the Jakks Pacific ILY ones until I watched a video on Chad Marvelous. I looked at the first outfit and since I didn’t see it, I thought she didn’t have them. I didn’t think to look at the second outfit 😂 That’s so cool they are in her skirt 😄

I love both I recently got to see Rapunzel, Minnie & Cruella at Target def Cruella is who my daughter & I want most of the 3. I never collected Mickey. Disney store I skipped Cinderella & Jasmine. I think in the new ones I want Elsa & Belle I have Rapunzel & Snow White. Def plan to skip Sven, Tiana & Ariel in the newest ones. ❤️❤️❤️
Cruella and Rapunzel are my first Jakks Pacific ILY dolls and I am VERY impressed with them! So much so I might not get another Disney store ILY doll but we’ll see 😅
The Disney seems more for the young girls vs jacks pacific seeming to be more of a collectors item.
There are some things in the Disney store one that seems more for young kids but then the Jakks Pacific one came with a little super glittery ring so it’s definitely confusing me which target audience they’re going for 😅
Now I just want both dolls for double the Rapunzel XD

Hello! Cool review! Thanks for showing their articulation! I did have a question. When you sat the Disney Store doll, l couldn't quite tell because it was filmed from the side. But do their legs still splay open when they sit? I could seel yhat she sits more upright but my biggest pet peeve was how the Disney store doll legs would literally just open wide when they sat .
I’m sorry I didn’t capture it good enough on camera. Unfortunately her legs still do splay when sitting. I’m probably just going to have my Disney store ily forever dolls in stands though the Jakks Pacific ones sit nicely.

Great comparison video! While I like a lot of the pieces the Disney ones come with, like the ears and the surprise foods, I'm starting to prefer the Jakks dolls. I really like getting more outfit pieces.
I was very glad they made a series 2 of Jakks Pacific ILY dolls and hope they keep making more of the ILY dolls from Jakks! It is very nice to have a second outfit for mix and match purposes 😄

I just realized this is the first time both Disney and Jakks dolls have a princess doll at the same time!! The 1 wave of Disney dolls are all princesses but the wave 1 Jakks dolls were all other Disney characters not princesses. Now Jakks has a princess doll too, would Jakks make a Snow White or a Ariel dolls next? Would ILY Disney make a Mickey and Minnie dolls now?
I do believe Jakks will be making an Ariel Ily doll! And also a Nightmare Before Christmas and another Stitch one!! 😄

I prefer the Disney one: her hair, her makeup, her accessories. I am not big fan of all three outfits though but I like the Disney outfit more, out of the three. The only thing I really love about the Jacks Pacific doll is the Pascal bag! It’s so cute
