I agree. She's so comforting to watch. I collect dolls, but not these types. I go for BJD and antiques usually (but I must admit, she's talked me into a few that's she's shown, LOL!)
That visual of Malissa sitting hugging and rocking all the dolls at the end of the video has given me all the nostalgic joy of remembering playing with child aged dolls as a child. I have just been collecting teen and adult fashion dolls now, but this makes me want to go get one of these adorable babies.
The Tinkerbell inspired one is probably my favorite. It's nice to see more Asian dolls on the market and I feel that she has the cutest outfit. The faces are also adorable. I heard that the clothes are cheaper quality than Our Generation and American Girl clothes though, which is unfortunate.
Oh I agree on all of your points. They must’ve paid mightily to use the Disney license, because they delivered a really low quality product at a very high price.
Omg yesterday at Walmart I got so excited to see a My Life Hello Kitty that is Asian she is beautiful I was so so tempted to buy her she’s $34.97 I think. representation is so important. I also love the Tinkerbell doll. I hope they make a doll with red hair in this line as well 🤞❤️🤗.
I’ve heard the reason why you can’t dress up as characters as adults is so that kids don’t mistaken strangers for the actors that play the characters at the park so while it seems annoying it keeps kids from running towards or off with strangers thinking there Cinderella or belle and tbh in my opinion I think bounding is super cool because it shows how creative Disney fans can be !
That sounds like it would important both to keep children safe from predators and to keep adult visitors from being mistakenly bothered by overexcited kids. I suppose they also only want trained employees acting as characters according to their scrip for how they want their brand represented. Everything about it makes sense. It’s kind of neat that they’re both acknowledging and encouraging fan alternatives with these new dolls.
They are so precious looking. Im not sure if I want to pay $35 for a doll with thin hair and glue in it but for a child, it could be perfect and too tragic if the hair gets ratty
I love the Enso rings. They’re the only price friendly brand that has size inclusion. I have very small fingers. Perfect for instruments, gaming and typing but when it comes to rings I can never find ones that fit. But they actually have size 3 there. I have the unicorn one from last year and I adore it. I’ll be getting one of the Minnie ones for sure.
Also these dolls remind me so much of ones I had as a kid. They had Ariel, Mulan, Belle, and I think Cinderella, and they were like toddler dolls. But they were so pretty and adorable. It was back in early early 2000’s
To be fair Miss Cindy was booking it downstairs in solid glass heels with her hands nowhere near the railings, her making it down alive is probably magic so let's cut her fairy godmother some slack here
When I was in Target 2 days ago, they only had 3 Elsa inspired dolls. Plenty of fashion packs. These are adorable and I'm sure kids will love them. Thanks for explaining the eye construction a bit. I'd assumed they were inset acrylic eyes like Liv. I actually love the Ariel girl's floppy hat. And I love Tink's sunglasses! I was waiting for you to change your t-shirt! Hopefully in the next one. 😊
I bought the Minnie Mouse doll for my daughter, on the BOGO 50% sale. She got several outfit sets as well. I’m putting it up for her birthday in December and I hope she loves it!
I think that the concept is really awesome. I’m reserving my judgment until I actually see them in person. My favorite is definitely Minnie Mouse inspired; her expression is adorable. I generally don’t get those style 18” dolls but I love their accessories which work well for 1/4 and 1/3 scale dolls. I’d love to see more characters inspired by to come out especially some of the less used or obscure characters to be included into this line; such as villains and Esmerelda, Kida, Megrah, Angel from stitch, ect. And I hope for a doll with red hair like Merida. They do have some issues with hair rooting and I think they should be more articulated but this I a new company and doll line so I hope that as they are out longer quality issues will be fixed. Looking forward to the other videos you make on this line
I don't think they share face molds with the Animator's dolls, I think they just look kind of similar to them. I like the Minnie Mouse doll best because of her sassy eyebrows, but in general I think they look cheap and wouldn't buy one for myself or for my daughter. Which is sad to me because it is a really cool concept. :(
I am so disappointed. I wanted these to be amazing. And I spent just under $300. Hopefully I can prevent others from spending too much. They are the kind of thing that if your child or you really really really really really want one, then it’s worth getting one. I really like the Minnie doll, even though the clothes are kind of low quality. I think she will look really cute on a shelf in my collection. But as a play line doll they should’ve been less than $30. I know kids probably don’t care about hair that much, in terms of how rooted it is. But the price point is really bugging me.
Minnie is my fav too then Tinkerbell. But I haven’t bought any yet cause it’s so pricey. We don’t have any dolls this size yet these are def tempting cause I love the fashion packs and playsets especially stitch cause of the skateboard. But I’ve also always wanted to get a my life doll so we’ll see maybe if I see some sales 🤞🤞🤞
I just bought a Disney world 18” doll online year 2000. Love the Mickey ears & outfit body like American Girl..who knew ..grin.. bought this one your showing too..love to compare . How 20 years + how they changed. 💗
My local Target recently did a small remodel, and now it has an area of the toy section that is a full on Disney Boutique. It has all these dolls, dress up costumes, plushies, legos, etc. It’s pretty cool, and I think it’s to help fill the void left from so many of the stand alone Disney Stores closing.
Their faces with the inset eyes are so cute, but I’m having a hard time getting passed the cheap body cloth and hair. I would have paid double if they had an all vinyl body and better hair. They can be rewigged or rooted but the body cloth can’t be fixed. Idk definitely paying for the Disney licensing.
I want all of these dolls and i looked for them but couldn't find them yet. I hope next trip i can get them. I have only been to Disney once even though i live near it in Florida. My sister's room is Disney princess themed so these dolls would be perfect The enso rings are nice cuz I'm allergic to metal and i can only wear silicone jewelry.
Good advice ! I actually bought two Minnie Mouse ily dolls im giving my niece one for Christmas I hope she's likes it. Im starting my Christmas shopping early
Your alternate version of the Cinderella song made me laugh, because my family would so do the same thing! I think the Tinkerbell doll came across the best as far as being inspired by the character. The rest were more casual and the Ariel one was just a beach doll O_O
@@MyWorldMelissa the 24 hour clock is hard! I only know how to use it because I grew up in France. Add the pm time to 12 noon and that will give you the 24 hour clock time, eg 4 pm is 12+4=16 so 16:00.

I love love love the face sculpts and the fashions, so I can live with the thinner hair. The Doll Circle review's Ariel doll seemed to have much thicker and nicer hair, so hopefully this one's thin lanky hair is a defect. I love American Girl but a lot of their face sculpts I don't care for. A nicer face sculpt, cheaper price point, Disney theming, and available in Australia makes these a winner for me.
When you said the Ariel type doll looked like a character in "The Ring,' it made me halfway expect to see a ghoulish face in the back of her head when you separated her hair!! LOL
I haven't been able to make it to Target recently (dealing with hurricane), but I am soo excited to make another toy trip soon. I love their faces and the mix up with appearance to character. I need a bigger office/art room. Lol
I LOVE the Disney Enso rings. When covid started I put away my beautiful engagement and wedding rings in fear of all the hand sanitizer I was using was going to ruin my diamonds. Then needed something as I hated not having my rings on. I went to silicone and Enso has been my favorite brand so far. I have that Mickey one and the rose gold minnie one for my wedding ring finger and bought 2 other Mickey/Minne designs for my thumb rings. Also, I did order my normal size and they were fine. Silicone will stretch a bit and ordering larger may cause them to be too big eventually and slip off
It makes a lot of sense to switch up which ethnicity or hair color is being used on which character too in the sense that if they stuck with matching hair and skin tones these would just look like they were making a modernized dressing of the actual characters rather than someone else cosplaying as them. And they’ve already done that with their modern redressing of all the princesses from wreak it Ralf. It would be a redundant concept instead of something new and exciting. Also, by putting super popular characters on various dolls of color, they are increasing the likelihood that girls outside of that ethnicity will want to buy and play with a more diverse range of dolls, as well as making those (mostly white) characters feel more accessible and relatable to more little girls. Seems like a pretty brilliant marketing strategy to me.
I hope you are feeling better. Cinderella is my favorite princess and I love Disney. I think these dolls are cute and the outfits are disney with a spin that the outfits and dolls are diversely matched as if dressed in character inspired costumes. The hair rooting and lack of finishing details on the garments may be a deal breaker for a collector but adored by girls as a play doll. I think the diverse spin could be them saying this princess does not have to be blonde or brunette to be a princess. I also agree that the faces may be recycled, too. I think these are adorable but price is more then expected for a play doll of this quality. Almost forgot. They have to have their own clothes so I wonder if they plan to sell optional outfits like other dolls this size. P.s. You were missed. Take care of yourself. xo
I do hope that children will enjoy them I just hope that they go on sale. And I absolutely love the play on A blonde girl dressed in Ariel clothes and a black girl dressed in Elsa clothes. I think that was truly inspired. I love the Asian doll dressed in the Tinker Bell clothes. That’s why I was really really excited about this line. Times are really hard right now, and the difference between $24.99 and $34.99 is a lot. That’s $5 you can’t use for something else.
Ive been waiting for your next video. Ive been worried about you because it’s been almost a week and I’m in NJ like you and I know there’s been a lot of flooding this week in different areas of the state including my street which got hit really hard. It’s been one of the worst weeks of my life. I’m glad that you and your family are safe. We are too so it could have been worse. As for the dolls I really want the Elsa inspired doll she is the cutest one. Though I would argue that Anna both loves adventure and is a natural born leader of the two. Perhaps they put Elsa's name on the box to sell more...
1) I think Cinderella is Pocahontas? And 2) Timberlands also have the circle on the side of their boots and I actually think the laces needed to be yellow as well 3) I concur. Melissa can tell me a review of how paint dries and I’d watch it to the end. It’s my way to destress after a long day. 💗🥰💗
I think they are super cute. I have one question. The Elsa inspired doll is the only one you didn't show the rooting on. Can you put her hair in pigtails or does the thin rooting show like the Ariel one?
They're cute but they're a tad too cartooney looking for me. I like that AG and OG seem to be a little more real life inspired, if you know what I mean?
okie ik probably no one will see this but I just LOVE how they make the princesses different from their original ethics yunno. every child should feel like they can dream and be which ever princesses they vibe with. like I'm far from the loooooks of Ariel but I share her personality. and I'm Asian with black hair. so that's just so nice. the whole concept is really cool. like it's not like ur black so u can only choose Tiana as ur fav princess, or cux I'm Asian I'm forever stuck with Mulan when ppl look at me. I actually love rapunzel or Ariel more cux of their personalities and life experiences and such, and that should be what matters.
I think Cinderalla might have Yasmin's face mold, no? Kinda reminded me of her! I dont really collect these types of dolls (altho i do have 2 animators, they'll be the only two, tbh! I have Lilo and Ariel), but i love the concept! Now, are they worth 35$? Idk... The quality isnt really there, im in love with the faces and the idea of them being a little softer and cuddlier, but i would like to see more effort going into these! They look like a very experimental thing where the makers dont really believe in it but are trying anyways cuz "what if it sticks?" sort of thing
When the Ulta comes to my target, I’m really gonna have to start selling blood or something, LOL. Dolls and make up, really good make up, in the same store. I keep telling myself I have absolutely no need for more eyeshadow or lipstick and I don’t need to try a new foundation. But if I walk into Ulta, it’s very bad for my wallet.
Okay, As a child, I would of loved these. I could see young me getting the Ariel bounding doll, because its similar to me. But as an Adult, The clothing disappoint me. As far as Disney bounding goes, its just a bit boring and vague. I would of loved to of seen these in normal sized dolls. (Just like a Selection of different couloir skin and hair dolls) And then Disney Bounding Packs to buy. So, You could say "Im a girl with brown hair, so i'll buy that doll. But, My favourt princess is Aroura, so i'll get that outfit."
i have one target where the movies and dolls are at the front of the store but for some reason i legit feel like im in a stimulation while im there because i can’t explain it i go to two targets usually and both of them have the same layout and when im at either one of them i feel so good and so calm also there’s so many cute boys who work there and all the workers are so kind and dont look at me weird for getting dolls i once in a blue moon go to the one in the richest yet rudest city in my area and their layout is so pretty and i get good vibes but the one i only go to if im in the area has such bad energy and vibes like i dont know i feel so weird and uncomfortable there i can’t explain it i just have such bad vibes & energy there.
I dont like big dolls, however, Melissa can be reviewing a stone of the sidewalk and will still watch it till the end.
Agreed , she’s so engaging!
Oh my gosh. You guys are making me cry in a very good way!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
100% I love this beautiful human being!!!

I love rerooting dolls😊 That and painting details on accessories is my version of customizing.
The Minnie inspired doll is my fave, as soon as I saw her I ordered her and ran to the store. They are just so cute
Just seen these on an endcap at my target. Love the fashion sets, but going to wait for them to come on sale.

1st omg ya love you are the best RUclips omg i am so happy
I think these will be super fun to sew for.
I may get the Little Mermaid one just for the outfit LOL.
I agree with the Ariel inspired doll being Merida’s face. I think the Elsa inspired is Moana’s face.
Your makeup looks beautifully gorgeous !
Thank you so much!!
Omg that earrings !!! SO beautiful and magical!!!
Love your earrings, they look so good on you!!!
Great video as always! Love the look of these dolls but i can't with the hair! The accessory packs are really cute though!

I'm getting Jasmine vibes from the Cinderella inspired doll.
Question can disney ily 4ever dolls 18inch fit my life clothes or our generation clothes?
I have every animator Doll and I'm pretty sure they don't share headsculpts 🤔🤔🤔
I got the aerial inspired one
I think they are super cute. I have one question. The Elsa inspired doll is the only one you didn't show the rooting on. Can you put her hair in pigtails or does the thin rooting show like the Ariel one?
Very thin rooting as well. Sorry I thought I did that part! It’s just harder to tell with textured hair. It looks fuller but it’s the same :-(
Ok thanks. Love your videos. Always honest and your unboxings totally crack me up. (can SO relate to your packaging struggles)
I’m 16, and I would definitely wanna go to Bibidi Bobidi Boutique, to get my hair and makeup done, at my big age. 👸🏾💚
The doll gets two tickets because she is not Cinderella, but a girl who likes the charter. 21.00 is nine in the evening.
Ariel looks like she has done the swim of shame!
They're cute but they're a tad too cartooney looking for me. I like that AG and OG seem to be a little more real life inspired, if you know what I mean?
I Don't think they used te animators sculpts. But I agree the faces are great.
The Cinderella doll would be a Jasmine look a like….
My niece hates these. Lol she said the eyes look weird and scared her. It's a nope from us♡

I have not seen them in my target I seen an ulta in my target
When the Ulta comes to my target, I’m really gonna have to start selling blood or something, LOL. Dolls and make up, really good make up, in the same store. I keep telling myself I have absolutely no need for more eyeshadow or lipstick and I don’t need to try a new foundation. But if I walk into Ulta, it’s very bad for my wallet.
Would those clothes fit American girls?
Video coming tomorrow with what dolls fit in the clothes.
I think the girl in the cinderella shoes dress has belles face! Its very similar and very pretty
Was it always so easy to comment on RUclips?
I have loved barbie since I was a kid.
But, my poor heart was broken when toysrus closed forever.
The box for the Olaf one says inspired by Elsa, but it gives me more Olaf vibes
I don’t get how fairy god mother made magical shoes but when the clock hit 12 they didn’t disappear even tho it is magic
I have two of them I have areal and elsa
I think they used the same designers for the sculpts but these aren’t the same as the animator collections
I wish at least one of them had bangs :(
Hi
the Ariel doll has Repunzel's face mold
At my target it is $14-99
💜💜💜💙💙💙
She's taking her human kid friend to the dance of course
i have one target where the movies and dolls are at the front of the store but for some reason i legit feel like im in a stimulation while im there because i can’t explain it i go to two targets usually and both of them have the same layout and when im at either one of them i feel so good and so calm also there’s so many cute boys who work there and all the workers are so kind and dont look at me weird for getting dolls i once in a blue moon go to the one in the richest yet rudest city in my area and their layout is so pretty and i get good vibes but the one i only go to if im in the area has such bad energy and vibes like i dont know i feel so weird and uncomfortable there i can’t explain it i just have such bad vibes & energy there.
Cinderella - Pocahontas
They look more like Rainbow Hihh faces than they do like the original Animators
