+MyMusicAdiction It is. Listen to his song 'Blank and White', from this album. He had to change a few of the lyrics in that song because he wasn't allowed to say them. I cannot remember what the original words were, but he ended up changing the lyrics to "All you fuckers vote beep beep beep", which artistically made him happy, considering the High End Of Low is about censorship. At another part of that same song he actually edits in the high pitched beeping sound you hear when they bleep out swear words. The bleep covered the lyric "And the President of nowhere" as if to shield the listeners to his nasty ideas.
So, this song sounds like (like) without (without) half the (the)ing words.

MM without Madonna Wayne Gacy, Ginger Fish, but specially Twiggy & John 5 together couldn't make another successful and solid album (sonically) even without Twiggy..MM (as a band) gave us Golden Age of Grotesque ..that for many fans was their last Successful tour worldwide. After that all the lineup changes was meh and boring.... nobody can't replace Ginger, Pogo, John 5 & Twiggy!

There have been other weird cases of censorship with Manson. In the single version of Astonishing panorama of the endtimes "violence for the people" was overdubbed with "silence" and the "gauge" in "16 gauge" was cut. Curiously enough "kill your god, kill your tv" was kept.

Vevo didn't censor this, it was Interscope. They practically killed Manson with censorship on this album, because their relationship together was dying and weren't worried about losing Manson to their label, as his career was low at the time. Which is weird because they produced his "Holy Wood" album and was much more offensive than this. This album is a big "FUCK YOU" to the music industry.
Tension between the previous director of Interscope Records Jimmy Lovine back in 2009 who tried to control Manson works in his way, that's not a new thing to this day. Manson asked to be ejected after "insulting" (not really) the director and one month before '10 he was finally out-label.
+W Yep, that whole thing was ridiculous. The label didn't really care to have Manson on their label, since his career has slowed down then, and were trying to loose him. It's funny, because they produced his other albums lie Holy Wood, which was far more offensive than the bad words in THEOL. The music industry was dying at the time too, so It was just a bad time, I guess.

This whole album is my 2nd favorite Manson record. My first being MA. It's excellent and so underrated. Everything about it is perfect and was a huge middle finger to Interscope for messing and changing up his art. I have so much respect for that. He's always stood by what he's believed in since he became Marilyn Manson

Ok I get censorship of the profanity, but even that is kinda rediculous since...
1)As a comment I have seen below say, in (s)AINT the video shows off drug use, sex, violence, self harm and nudity but their is no age restriction to it only the word explicit in the name of the video title.
2)In most of Marilyn and other artists videos the profanity often isn't censored unless they are racial slurs or extremely strong swear words that could offend lots of people.
As for the censorship of words like, kill, death, and abortion. What the actual fuck are you doing vevo? Hm? What went through your mind when you censored these words! We see them every day!! And if your excuse for "abortion" (which I think is the most rediculous thing to censor) is that Religious people and young children might get offended then you don't have a leg to stand on.
