Got World Record once again! Terrible nickel and still managed to shave of a minute of the run. I believe sub 45 is possible, especially with the new time save.
Things I did different compared to my previous run:
1. Instead of using the Propulsion Cannon to glitch into the aurora, I used a new glitch which saves around 45 seconds to get into the aurora. Thanks to "Clove" for discovering this!
2. Since the Propulsion Cannon is no longer required, we no longer explore the cave next to it for silver/gold. Instead of exploring the cave, we go to the geyser a second time, which ultimately saves time.

Yea, this would've been me too if I hadn't watched 57 playthroughs and tutorials and lets plays and bullcrap like that. Instead it just took me three hours to get my rad suit.

My first hour, I didn't know how to make anything. I was just collecting fishies. This video helped.
I spent a good 5 mins collecting acid mushrooms before realizing what i actually need.

Actually I did. And that's because I died in the lost river about 2 feet Infront of the seamoth due to lack of oxygen. I have to get all the way down there with the seaglide

Ive been playing on a certain save file for about 15 hours. I am in the Sunbeam event. This guy finished the game without the Sunbeam guys even dying.

Dont fix life pod and dont use the radio for a few hours if ever and you can save sunbeam. Get a message saying they could make it thru debris and will send help later

GiggleFactory wall glitches we're always there, it happens sometimes when a fish goes underground near you
that is called clipping. but certainly not to go freely into any wall, that would be cheating.
he uses a glitch named super glide for the real fast traveling and he isnt one hitting stones he actually two hits them but i guess he probably uses some kind of double click macro which in some cases could be allowed by the community

Given the fact that I am quite new to Subnautica I say it is incredible that he can save items with that moonpool trick and that he can glitch his way through the alien research base and the Aurora. I almost did not think about all the dangerous creatures in this game while watching because he ignored them completely. When I saw that he went into the active lava zone, more than 1300 meters deep with just the Seaglider made me very anxious and I don't think I feel the same hype to go to the lost river and explore so much now that I think he did it in such a short time. A thing worth mentioning is that he escaped the planet without the Aurora exploding, whereas I barely had a couple of tools when it exploded. I can say I am shook.
You literally did it before the Aroura exploded. I *MAYBE* might’ve had my repair tool by then.

Super speed glide helps they can't catch you that quickly. It is funny though reapers have gotten speedrunners. Most have a clip somewhere. Also at full health they sometimes don't kill you. Light and sound attract them.

I'm planning on watching it later so I can have an idea on what to do instead of wasting hours being lost. Since it's free on Epic Games, all these subnautica videos are gonna in handy for us freshies. This guy within the first 9 minutes has already gotten farther than my first hour and I'm using a Trainer by MrAntiFun! Makes me feel guilty.

Robbaz Corgi I think it’s better to ‘be lost’ and learn about the game yourself rather than speedrun it. If you’re gonna play a game, I’d rather learn it and experience it myself rather than just speed it. If you speed it, you’d already finish the game so it would be better to just take your time.
Jeon Edits yeah I get what you saying to play it your self and take your time with it, but I don’t really have that kinda time to spare. So instead of wasting time grinding for resources I simply use a trainer to make crafting free with infinite health, food and oxygen so I can just play what the game has to offer and enjoy it my own way. It’s why I prefer to mod and cheat on Single Player games so I don’t have to waste time and just get right to the fun parts of a game so I can enjoy it in the limited time window I have. I just don’t have the time to sink hours in a game on what I can accomplish in minutes with mods and trainers.
Ok, let me point out that taking short breaths and then going under water again for 30-45 seconds will give you a really bad headache

I never played this game, just heard about it through Factorio community. Just curious:

I always wanted to play Factorio.. how are you liking it? Is it as good as people say? Anyways:
1 - To bring my hull integrity down to -1. Decreasing your hull integrity down to below 0 is required to activate a certain glitch (which I'll explain in my second answer). Every base starts of with a certain amount of hull integrity and adding more parts to your base decreases this number. You can also increase it with certain reinforcing parts, but my goal is to bring it down to the point of flooding.
2 - If you deconstruct and reconstruct a hatch while your base is flooded, the game bugs out for some reason and it increases your seaglide speed by up to 2 times. In your average run this saves about 10 minutes of travelling, which is why I go through so much trouble to execute it.
3 - The map is always the same. Most resources spawn randomly though, which still makes every run different. After a certain amount of practicing, you start to learn certain locations that have a high amount of materials. Knowing these locations can save you a large amount of travelling time, especially for gold/silver.
4 - I needed the shield generator to build the 4th/last piece of the rocket, which is required to finish the game. This item can only be crafted within the cyclops, so building one is necessary.
5 - The big octopus thingy is called the Sea Emperor. Other humans came to this planet before us and discovered a virus called the Kharaa Bacterium, which almost wiped out the Sea Emperor's species, leaving the one Sea Emperor and its eggs. There is a cure for this disease though called Enzyme 42, which is naturally produced by a Sea Emperor. The humans who were here before I arrived studied the last surviving Sea Emperor in hopes of finding a cure against this disease. Due to the Sea Emperor´s age, the Enzyme it produced was unstable and could only temporarily revert the infection. The humans then deduced that the unborn Sea Emperor´s would likely be a better source, although they could not figure out how to hatch the eggs themselves. After we find a way to hatch the eggs, the hatchlings spread their Enzyme across the planet curing everything and everyone from this disease, including us. Getting cured is required to deactive the laser, which would otherwise kill us the moment we leave with the rocket.

@@MinkeyBro Thanks for the answers. Factorio is a great game, not for everyone though but i am sure you will like it. Just a suggestion avoid modding it heavily for your first run, there are some mods which change the game completely.
