It's that time of day again where i come back and upload yet another Destiny 2 music complied from a raid or activity! This time around, it's the Last Wish raid from Forsaken!
I've had fun making this one and used the symbols from the raid to signify which part corresponded the most or matched with them a lot. Though, this did take quite a long while (2 months instead of 1 to be specific) since there were Thanksgiving and other holiday breaks i wanted to take. Not to mention, i may be gone for another 2 months after my next upload soon for a personal project that i'd like to create to help benefit my future! Without further ado, i hope you enjoy this video that i had help from with screenshots. Next up: The Deep Stone Crypt!

@@Zetiva vault is way more talked about as the end of the amps up a lot and added a lot to peoples first time doing the raid making it more intense for them. Vault is way more talked about

Keep of voices from this raid and athanasia from the deep stone crypt are the 2 best tracks in this entire game.

after searching for ages for a video that has all of the last wish music, i found this. thank you for putting it all in one video! (others like to put the soundtrack in multiple videos, which is okay, but the whole thing together is nice imo)
I agree as well! I've always listened to the separate songs in order but I've come to change that! Maybe tune in the next couple of weeks and you might find the Deep Stone Crypt ready to hear as well!

I have to agree bro I don’t play destiny much anymore. I stopped playing like 2 years ago. But I’d have to say that forsaken for me as a whole was destiny at its best. The whole expansion was absolutely memorable. But I tend to believe that the only reason it was as grand of scale as it was due to activation and Sony and all the extra money they had at that time. But still this DLC period hit every note for me. I miss that particular time in my life ❤❤❤
Not only an engineering marvel, but a creative arts masterpiece! Last Wish is truely a one of a kind experience. Hell, it's worth dropping into this raid just to listen to the soundtrack, and enjoy the amazing art-work.
vault and queens walk ost is honestly the best raid music along with DSL

Easily the greatest full raid OST. Other raids may have 1-3 tracks that stick out tops. This one starts going hard at Shuro-Chi and doesn't stop slapping till the end.
LW leaned hard into the drums which I absolutely love it for cause both a tion, low, and high are all mainline lead by the drums, and allows music transitions a lot easier imo.
That transition to phase 3 on Shuro is ridiculously good. Transitions just as youre beginning the 2nd plate too which is genius

Came back recently for witch queen and replayed last wish. It brought back painful memories lol
34:40 won best part for me, can't hear that enough, so epic (honestly should've been feature more clearly in the raid, though i think it could be hard to shoot her eyes with that song e.e)

I love how this video is structured in such a way that makes you feel like you are in the raid doing it, good job my guy
I'll say this: I got into Destiny in Season 15, so I missed basically all of the story beforehand and knew nothing about the story. However, I did know from some research I did (YT videos and such) that Last Wish came in the Forsaken DLC, which was about the revenge for murdering Cayde-6, a very popular character.
Because of this, I assumed that Last Wish was actually the final mission of the Forsaken campaign, and that "Last Wish" referred to Cayde's "Last Wish for us." now I know that it had nothing to do with Cayde at all, but I still kinda think that having a raid that was basically our way of sending Cayde off once and for all would've been amazing, perhaps like Last Wish was to many people.
I'll also add onto this, basically saying how we were avenging one of (not the) highest causes for the reason that Cayde died anyways. Uldren became corrupted due to Riven, who herself was corrupted by Oryx, and then Savathun after the Taken King's death by our hands years earlier.
So in a sense, by conquering Riven, we were avenging the cause of the cause of Cayde's death, thus avenging him to an even higher extent, which would be fully completed in the Witch Queen campaign, as Savathun would be killed by us.
The Prince taken by Riven whom was also take by the Taken King and with the Witch Queen’s influence on all of them.
Soon all of it will lay to rest
The song before riven is such a good and dark build up to the epic music that is keep of voices
I can agree Last Wish is the best build, Aesthetically pleasing, some of the best soundtracks, and the biggest and most unique boss ever made in destiny, Riven no other boss has ever came close to how hard she is and still is today and there are probably never gonna be another Ahmkara boss in Destiny as there all hunted down and killed now
@@adamboy0559 I dont think bungie is ever gonna top themselves if its about raids. LW was so incredible my first 2 clears were actually both legt such an awesome experience it was so hard and we all got tired but we were able to pull through and then bam Queenswalk we thought ,,Yes we r done finally'' but yea Last Wish is the best raid ever made and I dont think its ever gonna get topped.
@@zappy7854 yeah I have 2 friends who can’t let go of the fact it’s better than kings fall. yes kings fall is good but is it really as fun as Last Wish and they say it’s harder. How many people bet kings fall on the first day compared to how many bet Last wish I know there’s was no contest mode and I’m sure contest mode only becomes a thing after last wish but yeah I agree I don’t think they will ever top the raid but I hope they can with witch queen Last wish has had the top spot now for years

Goddamn Destiny always slaps with this sort of stuff, I can't believe I never sat and listened to this all, it plays so subtly in the background I never actually noticed how much this slaps.
Queenswalk is so intense, but not in a bad way. Like you have such a great task ahead of you, but there is hope.
When the Shell of what Was creeps in just before the first puzzle room. Just that moment has me fixated on replaying the raid. Sometimes I just want the LFG group i'm in to fail so we can restart it hahaha!
Tbh now you get a lot of LFG groups in Last wish who I don’t want to say are bad but they never done the raid and have zero clue anything after Kalli the corrupter and it makes doing every other encounter painful. I got this opinion when this one team couldn’t do kalli I always had the most damage by around 500-600k and they kicked me and said I wasn’t good enough. They were a group of Anime weirdos and I’m not saying all are as weird as them but god from now on I never do Last Wish without my 2 friends coz then we at least have a chance if we meet another shite group again

I did this raid over and over again, it was so fun to play and listen to. This is one of the best raids in all of gaming history. I truly enjoyed it. Thanks, to the old bungie team that once was.

Keep of Voices is the biggest baddest banger in this game and nobody ever hears it because everyone cheeses Riven, me included.
At least you can listen to it against Vorgeth in the Shattered Throne.
One of favourite part of last wish launch was when we finally got to riven maybe 2 days of less after launch and the triumphant part kicked in as you drop down one of the best memories of doing the raid for the first time now day 1 raiding is my favourite part of destiny and enjoy trying to figure out the puzzles and mechanics of them can’t wait for VOG now hope it’s a bit different and gives a bit of a challenge for the day 1 completion

Anytime I hear the queenswalk theme I just get flashbacks to all the times where the randoms I was playing with were screaming countdown for no reason lol.
Last Wish has the best raid soundtrack, which comes as no surprise considering Forsaken is probably the best soundtrack Bungie has ever produced, hands down, bar none.
i would say Rise of Iron barely tops it impo.

Vault encounter has the best music in the game hands down. If you think deep stone lullaby is better then you do not deserve to play last wish
Really solidly done compilation. The only gripe I noticed was the vault theme being a bit off. Some of the instruments are not present in the encounter version
phase 1 is missing. thats the percussion only part. weirdly enough i cant find it anywhere. seems like it gets copyright struck automatically.
I looooooove keep of voices especially the lowkey string and brass section that plays when you are running to the second room (at least if you're cheesing riven) but the official soundtrack doesn't have that section 😭😭😭

To gonna lie, in Queens walk i imagine kinda that scenario but imagine they never stop coming and spawn so fast and even the hive big sword guys (the one likes the big knight of the dreadnaught strike) too.
That will make more intense cause you can’t stop shooting at all
Last Wish is the only raid IMO that keeps it’s raining difficulty over the years if you don’t cheese any encounter you could have a tough time beating it and that IMO makes the raid extremely fun since it’s not easy

Good suggestion! I have a couple of clips and screenshots for a Leviathan one but since I've had both Nessus and Six on hold for about half a year now, I'll have to see how far I can get with those before I continue on with older raids!

Do you know the name of the song that plays after morgeth, in the transaction to the vault?
It's the same song my man, if you don't know what it is, it's called Watchtower. There's a lot of full length versions of the song so the one in this video is shorter so it can feel immersive like you're in the raid itself.

Haha, it's ok but it was a Forsaken Raid (called Scourge of The Past) that was sadly vaulted into the DCV, so there's no way of playing it now

You made a small mistake with the Shuro Chi encounter. You included the Queen's Walk version of Shell of What Was for the final phase of the music instead of the High Action version. The Queen's Walk version is exclusive only to the last part of the raid.
Since it somewhat kills the immersion for me, Imma be honest when I say it gets an 8/10 for this reason.
Your comment caught my attention!
I looked back in my recordings of my raid experience (as shown in the video) and that was the version of SoWW i got during the making of this video. It could be that i may have mistaken it but i also looked back in my Audition Files which mirrors both the raw footage audio and extracted music from the game and they both matched up. It could be that both these versions were played in Shuro Chi and Queens walk but that's up for debate either with other people or in the future when i decide to find out if this is true.
Good ears but this is what I pulled up so i don't know and might not look more into it as i am in the works of other videos.

@@DeadstarMusicYT Well given that High Action sounds similar in intro to Queen's Walk it always adds up. However if one were to take a look at footage of Shuro Chi's boss fight without commentary you'll notice High Action plays instead. Queen's Walk is exclusive only to the final part of the raid.
