This week I bring you a new anime inspired song for Izuku Midoriya/Vigilante Deku! My Hero Academia was really the start of my channel with "One For All". I felt right at home again making this song for Deku and this new arc he is on in season 6 of MHA. I hope you enjoy!

Character Bio -
Izuku Midoriya (緑みどり谷や出いず久く Midoriya Izuku?), also known as Deku (デク Deku?), is the main protagonist of the My Hero Academia manga and anime series.
Even though Izuku was born Quirkless, he manages to catch the attention of the legendary hero All Might, due to his innate heroism and a strong sense of justice, and has since become his close pupil, as well as a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School. All Might passed on his transferable Quirk to Izuku, making him the ninth and current holder of One For All.

This really captures the essence of midoriya's desperation to protect everyone even if it meant leaving them behind to try and fight the villains alone, you can really feel the emotional touch that's displayed here
Honestly I don't think this man is even capable of making anything that isn't a masterpiece. Every single one of his songs are complete works of art.

Dude was on lonely crusade but was falling apart inside. It was sad to watch that happen to him but it also shows how much Deku is willing to be hero. Divide you did good man.
Amen to that! His story had me tear up at certain points of the series! He was torn up at a young age, and was beaten to near death countless times. Bro had it harder than anyone in the entire series. At least that's how I viewed it.

Keep in mind, he is 15 to 16 at most during this arc. And he is out here doing what most grown adults with powers aren't willing to do. Risking his life to the bitter end in hopes that one day, everyone can feel safe and smile once more. I think a quote from spiderman 2 says it best "he's just a kid." It's tragic to see this, but you have to see it unfold. It's portrayed painfully well in the manga, the anime, and it sure as hell is portrayed well in this song! Rock on Divide!
Serioulsy, Izuku needs a big hug the cheer him up after everything that he went throughout the arc.

Another thing to keep in mind: Deku was half-dead from sleep depravation and holding himself up with One for All (Mostly Blackwhip), and it *still* took 1-A's A-game just to keep up with him (And keep him from just running away) during their "fight".
that's what happens when a kid never learns self preservation instinct (in a superhuman society though)

Honestly, one of the best anime arcs I’ve ever had the privilege of watching. Seeing Deku go down this dark path while having little to no mercy was a pleasure to watch.

I love the riffs from Deku’s “Pride” song at the end. It’s rougher like he’s still the same person inside behind all the pain
From the second I saw "vigilante deku," I knew this song was gonna be a worthy tribute to the 9th user, for the monumental task inherited from users past. Well done as always divide you never disappoint.
To those who say this song is 'bad' or 'cringe', answer me this - would you be calling it that still if it had no imagery, just the lyrics on screen, and had no indication it was a fan-made anime song?

I feel the same way. Izuku and Superman (or Clark Kent) inspire me to be better. I suggest superman if you really like heroes like Deku or All might.

I was hyped as hell when I was listening to this. But I noticed something. The last part of the song where it's the flashback of Deku's growth. It sounds ALOT (I might be tripping) like the beat/track from your Deku song "Pride." Phenomenal. That had me in a state I couldn't describe.

This is a great song it really captures Deku's growth from the boy in season 4 who doubted if he was worth to be the successor. To being the man who realizes that no else can do it so he has to prove he is. The rizzalanty tracks are nothing but heat.

this is such an awesome tribute to a well written child trying to be like his idol as he saw him not as he truly was and ultimatly becoming what all might always was. desheveled, crumbling but uncomprimising a symbol of peace and pillar of justice. just ochakos face shows everything about her character because from that very first ova she took aizawas words to heart who will save a hero when they need help.
This song is the perfect representation of a hero's personal struggle to save everyone at the cost of themselves. It's heroic and sad all at the same time.
This is my favorite!! It perfectly describes Deku's desire, (more like need), to protect those around him, which resulted to him fighting off villains alone. What he didn't realise is that he needed his friends beside him and as the saying goes, "Together we are stronger; together we are unbroken; together we can do anything." At that time and place, I think those are words Deku needed to hear. Also, a special thanks to Divide Music for making this song and all your other music! It is such a blessing to be able to listen to your music on my way to (Tas)Tafe each morning and afternoon. 💚💚

I loved the last few episodes of this season and Seeing Deku push himself away from everyone in fear of putting them in danger made me think of my own character in my works of fiction. Since he's cursed with an endless existence he pushes everyone away because he's too scared to get close knowing he'll just outlive them all, yet despite that those who care about him drag him in and help him form bonds, just like how Deku's friends drag him back and show him he doesn't need to be alone.

I can honestly say that, you're the artist that has brought the most emotion out of me, out of my 35 years, your music has had me shed more tears ave feel more emotion than any show, movie, book, or piece of music I've ever listened to.

The lyrics really match to what was happening in season 6 of the series Boku No Hero Academia. And the part of "Voices I know, they tell me I should come home" is really touching, the "voices I know" relates to Deku's classmates and he knows them bc why not and "they tell me I should come home" relates to his classmates trying to get him back into UA and tell him the reasons why they're his friends.
As an enormous fan of BNHA, I can say that this song is really good as in a 100% accurate if you relate the lyrics to season 6 of the series.

I like the correlation between when bokugo was caught and the used Kirichima to get him to come back and then when deku was being a vigilante they used Ida to get deku back, they both wanted to talk to the other but knew someone else was better atm

The lyrics of this one shared the vibe with the "One For All" song. At least I think, it gave the sense of "You can't bring me down, I am better.", the sense of confidence, made it feel like he really became the next OFA.

The dark deku arc is my favorite arc in all the series. I love deku's character development and it's just so tragic how he felt like he had to be a martyr to protect their already broken world. He did everything he could to fix it until he collapsed. I'm so glad that his classmates were able to pull him out of the darkness. They can face it together instead.
"You must be out of your mind" really gets me for some reason. Maybe it's because it's the kind of thing we don't really get to see Deku say or even think, except for rare moments like when he wanted to save Eri, and no one would let him. I guess that part of him that instinctively runs to help people thinks those who won't are the crazy ones

This song and music video is a perfect embodiment of this arc and what vigilante deku represented as a character and as a whole for where the story of mha is going. As someone who has found comfort in deku since the beginning and to see where he is now is something that resonates heavy within myself. I thank you Divide for putting your voice and talent towards this song because this song is so emotional and powerful. The reason why I love Deku’s vigilante arc. Because so fan are changing opinions and perspective on him. It show author showed incredible character development that is a creative feat.
