Sir I just want to explain since you did not understand the story, it is supposed to be a sad story, that maid lady that picked up the child is a Android meaning she's a machine and that rocket that launched and hit the planet what's a EMP, EMPs can shut down or destroy electronic machines like computer, cars and even Androids which is what happened to that maid Android and that Cube Android. It's kind of a sad story of her losing her mother something and toughening out by doing things on her own like hunting the deer which that maid Android usually help her do.
