    I have the original manix 2 in g10 s30v. I'm having to reblade it due to an ignorant friend sharpening with a grinder. Definitely going to grab some of this b4 installing the new titanium scales. Great informative video. 👍

      Highly recommend picking up a used rivet construction lightweight in whatever steel you want. Probably the best way to get a cheaper doner blade

    That is the sickest Mantix I've seen. I have the Blacked out S30V Mantix with g10 and always wanted to upgrade it. After watching your video, I absolutely need to upgrade mine now!!! Just subbed your channel can't wait for the videos on the powder stuff. Ill buy some of that off ya, let me know the price

      Haha thanks Gary! Fun fact.. my bad ass pitbull is named (by my wife...) Mr. Gary! lol anyways that's sick man I had the S30V non coated as like my very first knife and missed the living shit out of it! (better than the shaman **coughs**) It is a fun upgrade man... irritating in its own right lmao! BUT rewarding none the less.. really feels hinderery when its done honestly. Oh hell yeah man once i get the kinks worked out I'll send ya some just throw me some shipping dough ;) but i don't want to start sending the stuff out before I really get the hang of the ins and outs so i can help ya with it! Pro tip - Dont put it in a magnetic based metal cup - (used for my hardware) then take a iron tool next to it... that black crap goes every where ... Thanks for watching brotha, your the exact type of person I hope the channel attracts! Looking forward to hearing more from ya!

    Great, coherent explanation…well done☝️. However, unfortunately reinforces my hesitancy to buy the Manix (1st Spyderco). Scared to get a tough lock and have to take it apart 2,3,5 times…with stress…to get it to my liking. One shouldn’t have to do that, aarrgghh….😡

    Hey man, great video. I'm gonna subscribe it was so good. I just bought an XL Manix 2 in Cruwear, and can't find scales for it because it's XL, so I'm doing a red aluminum ball cage, and am on the hunt for good looking red screwset, and a red clip. Also wish I could find a red backspacer, but no go so far. Hey, I'd buy a bag of black juju dust from you if you havevany left.

    Thanks for the vid and all the info! Question... where'd you find these Flytanium titanium scales with the contouring at the finger choil (not to mention the ball cage lock)? Can't find them anywhere, just the flat plain ones.

    • @EEDC
      @EEDC  2 года назад +1

      Hey bro thanks for watching these are the same ones you're talking about their flat they're not contored if I said contort in the video that's cause I'm an idiot. The ball bearing cage is also flightanium. If the ceremic ball is OCD for EDC. And I believe the pocket clippers from lynch.

      @@EEDC No, you did fine... was me who didn't use the best terminology... I meant the big chamfer there at the edge of the finger choil. If you Google Flytanium Manix 2 Ti scales, they look different.

    I've got the light weight in maxamet and I've been debating doing something like this. But I'd have to get a standard one first and then play musical blades and frankly I don't have the money to do it and it seems like just a lot of trouble for little payoff. At least in my case. Interesting thing with the powder though. Kind a like a more "professional" version of putting sharpie or pencil on the tang to deal with lock stick.

      If you’re referring to the dust yeah I mean let dude reach out to me on Instagram basically I’ll just say hey give me money for the shipping and I’ll send you a little bag that’ll probably last you forever if you’re referring to the upgrades and titanium and all that stuff now that is by far and large just luxury items because we are all assholes lol thanks for watching brother

    How ya doing? Got a question.
    What scales are those?
    I see the cut out around the controls to give you more grip when manipulating the cage.

    It’s been about a year now… Curious as to your long term impression of the Z Molly powder and whether you’re still using it? Thx!

    • @EEDC
      @EEDC  Год назад +1

      I do use it on all axis locking knives, though I don't carry many (I also use it on my manix 2) I feel like the grease is ironically less messy and arguably more effective. The powder works good where the crossbar "studs" meet the liner and I've found the grease works better on the tang where the crossbar rides on on the tang. I could send you samples as that shit is expensive, message me on IG.

      Which part? Flytanium stuff can be bought anywhere really, recommend going to their site first. The OCD4EDC kit can be bought from his site. The graphite powder can be purchased from amazon but it is expensive. If you want a sample message me on IG everyday_edc_77 and pay shipping and I can send you some that should last you for damn near ever lol... thanks for watching bro!
