      @@KevinEassa amaaazing cant wait to watch! How are camping reservations for Banff around june july, do i need to book months in advance or just a few weeks out you think? Thanks legend.

    • @KevinEassa
      @KevinEassa  2 года назад +1

      @@anthonycarroll6372 of course! The Canadian Rockies are some of my favorite mountains! It’s tough to say, every time I go I do a mixture of wild camping, campsites, and hotels, depending on what vehicle we roadtripped in. We definitely aren’t the type to plan months in advance though and we’ve been fine finding campsites. They for sure fill up but there’s tons of sites, I would say 2-4 weeks prior to your trip would be a safe bet!

      Don't picnic on the edge of waterfalls. Those rocks are going to fall eventually. Don't be there when it happens. Also the rocks can get really slippery

    · gondola to the top of Whistler Mountain
    · the town of Jasper itself
    · Miette hot springs
    · Old Fort Point loop trail
    · rafting the Athabasca River
    · the meadows trail at Mt Edith Cavell

      @@KevinEassa When you do, follow the road in all the way to the end. Lots of people stop too soon - of course you can stop at ALL the stops! From the last parking lot, there’s a paved walking trail around the whole lake - a great and easy walk. Swimming at the end lot as well, and the lake is surprisingly warmer than typical mountain lakes. Enjoy!

      Best route would be Vancouver east to Hope, then north up the Fraser Valley to Lillooet, then east to Clearwater via Kamloops, spend a day seeing the waterfalls (Helmcken, Moul, Spahats, etc.) at Wells Grey Provincial Park, then to Mount Robson (Overlander and Rearguard falls, hike to Kinney Lake), then to Jasper for 2-3 days (Whistlers Mountain, Mount Edith Cavell, Athabasca Falls, Miette Hot Springs, Maligne Canyon), then south along the Icefields Parkway (see Sunwapta Falls, Tangle Falls, Athabasca Glacier, Peyto Lake) to Lake Louise for 3-4 days visiting Banff/Banff hot springs/Lake Louse/Morraine Lake/Johnston Canyon/Lake O'Hara/Takakaw Falls, then to Calgary via Banff and Canmore.

    • @KevinEassa
      @KevinEassa  Год назад

      If you're looking to hike, then July- September. If you want to see fall foliage, September-October. As far as the winter goes, I haven't been, but I think Banff and Lake Louise would be pretty epic to do a ski/snowboard trip!
