thank you for showing jasper for what it is! not hiding the fires and devastation that has happened for the fires. Keeping it real. cheers much respect!!!
@@KevinEassa amaaazing cant wait to watch! How are camping reservations for Banff around june july, do i need to book months in advance or just a few weeks out you think? Thanks legend.
@@anthonycarroll6372 of course! The Canadian Rockies are some of my favorite mountains! It’s tough to say, every time I go I do a mixture of wild camping, campsites, and hotels, depending on what vehicle we roadtripped in. We definitely aren’t the type to plan months in advance though and we’ve been fine finding campsites. They for sure fill up but there’s tons of sites, I would say 2-4 weeks prior to your trip would be a safe bet!
Don't picnic on the edge of waterfalls. Those rocks are going to fall eventually. Don't be there when it happens. Also the rocks can get really slippery
Also very worthwhile: · gondola to the top of Whistler Mountain · the town of Jasper itself · Miette hot springs · Old Fort Point loop trail · rafting the Athabasca River · the meadows trail at Mt Edith Cavell
@@KevinEassa When you do, follow the road in all the way to the end. Lots of people stop too soon - of course you can stop at ALL the stops! From the last parking lot, there’s a paved walking trail around the whole lake - a great and easy walk. Swimming at the end lot as well, and the lake is surprisingly warmer than typical mountain lakes. Enjoy!
Great job Kevin. Please make a 12 days travel itinerary from Vancouver to Calgary, where to stop for nights and what to see. Including Vancouver and Victoria. Thank you
I haven’t been to Vancouver, I’ve only seen Sun Peaks and Kamloops in BC (other than Yoho), but one of these days I’ll go and make a video! But I do have videos on Banff, yoho, and the Canadian Rockies on my channel!
Best route would be Vancouver east to Hope, then north up the Fraser Valley to Lillooet, then east to Clearwater via Kamloops, spend a day seeing the waterfalls (Helmcken, Moul, Spahats, etc.) at Wells Grey Provincial Park, then to Mount Robson (Overlander and Rearguard falls, hike to Kinney Lake), then to Jasper for 2-3 days (Whistlers Mountain, Mount Edith Cavell, Athabasca Falls, Miette Hot Springs, Maligne Canyon), then south along the Icefields Parkway (see Sunwapta Falls, Tangle Falls, Athabasca Glacier, Peyto Lake) to Lake Louise for 3-4 days visiting Banff/Banff hot springs/Lake Louse/Morraine Lake/Johnston Canyon/Lake O'Hara/Takakaw Falls, then to Calgary via Banff and Canmore.
New subscriber and am so delighted to have stumbled onto your channel! We are leaving our winter residence in Palm Desert, Ca early this summer due to unseasonably high heat and heading to Banff, Yoho and Jasper and what a timely find of your reviews and hike recommendations for all three! Thank you so much for the information and superb photography of all three! Greatly appreciated!
Excellent vidéo ! Your recommendations are very helpful. I’m going this winter, so I hope there will be enough accessible in February because I love seeing nature in snow and ice without crowds. Thank you for your tips.❤🎉
Beautiful and informative! Thank you! Hoping to go next year but would like to figure out the best time to go. What are the advantages of going in June as to August or September??? By the fall colors, it looks like you were there sometime in September? Is there always a chance of smoke if you go in August or September? Thanks!
If you're looking to hike, then July- September. If you want to see fall foliage, September-October. As far as the winter goes, I haven't been, but I think Banff and Lake Louise would be pretty epic to do a ski/snowboard trip!
It depends on where you are coming from and it is always changing. A good resource is the map on sky scanner where you can put your citizenship and see restrictions on every country. It’s a great resource
01:02 WHAT? How is it possible that people are that disrespectful, especially when there plenty of toilets in the parking lot. Thanks you for calling them out, should have tried to catch his face and turn him in.

Thank you Franco!!!

I’m so glad to hear it! That means the world, I’m glad it has helped! Also, coming very soon to the channel is a Top 10 Yoho and a Top 20 Banff 😏

Go east of Jasper to Miette Hot Springs. Hike the Sulphur Skyline. It'll blow your mind. 😊
It sucks about the fires this past August. I was going back again on August 10th through the 14th .Bald Hills loop is a must, regardless of the fires
Sorry to hear that, each summer seems tougher to plan for the area because of the fires
Thanks Kevin for this video

What month did you travel ? I am curious about fall leaves color.
Hi Kevin, What is the best season to visit JASPER?

@@KevinEassa Thank you!😀
no Mt. Robson ?
Sadly haven’t had a chance to visit. Although, I believe Robson is it’s own Provincial Park, so just tried to keep it in Jasper!
Would 2 days be enough to visit these 10 places?
Love Canada 😭😍
best place ever
to visit not to live
What Covid restrictions are there for U.S. citizens?
It depends on where you are coming from and it is always changing. A good resource is the map on sky scanner where you can put your citizenship and see restrictions on every country. It’s a great resource
Disappointed there's no Wells Gray top 10... Slacking!
Next time I’m up there! Haven’t heard of that one but it looks beautiful!
Oh but that's much too rough for cowboys to stay for long.
How is someone having a piss going to leave a trace. Chillout.
Leave no trace doesn’t include peeing, peeing is fine lol
So is shitting if you bury it. Just don’t do it in front of other people
01:02 WHAT? How is it possible that people are that disrespectful, especially when there plenty of toilets in the parking lot. Thanks you for calling them out, should have tried to catch his face and turn him in.
I usually just poop in the glacier water, but I swear I don't pee.
🙄🤦♂️
Your truly disgusting honestly
Oh my God someone was peeing!?!??! How dare he!!!!
🤷🏽♂️
My name is jasper
Nice!
I mean what’s wrong with peeing in the water lol
Some tourists drink the glacier water, which is…. You know.
Animals piss in there all the time … lol leave no trace of piss 😂
You are so cute hoping to meet you
It’s pee oh needed it suddenly it ain’t wreak place ohhh u should talk to him
peeing in a national park is fine
Tossing your water bottle on the lake shore is fine, too, right? 🙄🤦♂️😏
Canada!!!!
The best! Thanks for watching Melissa
Beautiful
