Shouldn't you have a vapor barrier covered by concrete and not bare earth? Possibly with insulation?
Crawl spaces are usually open to the ground (bare earth). We recommend that a vapor barrier- at the very least- needs to be placed over the ground. Encapsulation is the ideal option, and that includes water drainage and insulation.
